The location was wonderful and the host was really friendly and helpful
Room didnt have a chair but it was not really big enough to put one in although we found it fine that was the only thing we missed
Our host was very warm and welcoming, and our room was lovely. The breakfast was really well done, with generous proportions. The room was modern and the ensuite very modern.
location is fantastic the hosts were very kind
The views of this B & B are beautiful set along the water. The proprietress was very nice and welcoming. Her homemade breakfast was delicious.
The local water coming from the tap was brown which deterred us from taking a shower. Bottled water was provided for in room use. The published statement "no alcohol or food allowed in the room" was a surprise and inhibited our enjoyment of a glass of wine at our leisure. We are not children but mature adults. None of the other seventeen B & B's included this requirement.
Hearing sounds from adjacent room
Amazing view, cosy, large rooms, great breakfast. Fab place to escape from the city and relax
Poor wifi and you can hear everything through the walls. Not that it bothered us but maybe important to others.
Everything was absolutely perfect! The owner very very kind. the wanderful breakfast, the incredible view!! 5 minutes from the city centre of Clifden...ok..try it!!
I tried to find something wrong but it's impossible :)
Didn't stay for breakfast as we had an early start. Not a bad place to stay for the night, but glad it was only one night just the same.
Wifi did not work in our room, had to go in the hallway or common area. When complained was told it was satellite and was due to the weather, but later when it was perfectly sunny it still didn't work.
View from window and breakfast
Nowhere comfortable to sit, no tv, list of rules on wall, late check in & brown water
Excellent Hostess....very good breakfast with homade scones and jams...
Only Earl Grey teabags ....so there was no milk given...the Irish drink Indian tea in morning..Appalling noise on floorboards above Room 4...late in evening and early morning....also their voices..very disruptive sleep.. Sound proofing needed on the floors of owners part of the house....
Excelent location, great panorama. Nothing to dislike about Waterfront Rest B&B.
Take care at mosquitos in the night. If you keep your windows closed you'll be just fine :) The wi-fi usually is not working from the room, but the signal is strong in the looby.
Location Lovely looking property Nice staff
Brown water Damp smell in bedroom wardrobes
Great location, lovely people, best breakfast ever.
Need net curtains on windows of lower floor rooms for privacy.
the view out the window and the breakfast
Home made scones (yummie!!!) Beautiful scenery, very quiet Very friendly host Very good recommendations for horseback riding and restaurants
mattresses were to soft Wifi could have been stronger weak shower
Lydie the hostess was charming., Beautiful views, nice house ,great breakfast .
You can not pay with credit, weak flow shower.
So beautiful & restful. Lovely hosts, very friendly & accommodating. Quite the road to get there but worth it that's for sure. My 11 year old granddaughter said it was awesome!
There was nothing we didn't like.
Very nice and quiet hotel. The lady owning the place is french, and the house is lovely decorated in such a Provence-style. Good beds.
No sea-view - just a lake-view :) No WLAN in the rooms.
Situated on the Sky Road with a stunning view, this B&B was a highlight of our trip. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and had a large bathroom. Breakfast included home baked warm scones as well as a full Irish breakfast -choice for those who prefer other options. Make sure you take the Sky Road into Clifden -an incredible view of the inlet and Connemara shoreline. Our host speaks both English and French.
I would have loved to haved stayed a few days -hated to leave after just a day.
Location: the view is amazing. Owners very nice and friendly.
Good Size of Room, Relaxed Atmosphere & Good Parking Facilities
Gorgeous view, silence, hospitality
The host was very nice, the location was pretty, and the breakfast was quite good.
Beds were uncomfortable, rough sheets, breakfast wasn't served until 8:30am, house smelled strongly of incense, no screens on windows to keep out mosquitos, Wi-Fi was very weak.
The welcome was very warm. Super breakfast. Nice environment.
Very friendly and welcoming.
