The staff was very good, specially David, as he is a very nice and helful person.
I didn't like the bed and it was a bit noisy as these kind of houses are a bit old and the construction is not sound proof. The location is good, but a 15 minute fast walk to St. Sephens Green and the city centre. If you don't have a light sleep is a nice place to be.
Warm, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, complimentary papers, friendly staff. Location is good as it is away from the noise and litter of the centre yet is only 20 minutes walk from St Stephen's Green.
Nothing not to like. Perhaps in my room there was too much furniture and if two people are sharing there needs to be a second chair. It is trivial.
Immediate welcome.. Comfy environment.. Good breakfast.. Helpful staff..
The location was fantastic and price was very good. Greeted at the door by the receptionist David who was so helpful, particularly as I lost my keys during the night in town and he rang around everywhere to help me. Will be recommending this place to all my friends/family
slighted dated in places like the hallways for instance but it's actually party of the charm and character of the place
Everything!! From the friendly welcome at check-in to the amazing breakfast. A beautiful building in a prime location - perfect for our Dublin break.
Nothing - everything exceeded our expectations.
Free parking, but it's limited.
Location was brilliant and parking was main reason I stayed there.
Perfect. Very accommodating staff... friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money... very comfortable...
Having stayed in Dublin before , I knew how difficult to get free parking was , However Parking on site was great and free brilliant !
all good no issues
Location was very good, very central for Dublin City. The house has lots of character, Victorian, very comfortable, and peaceful, and the staff werte extremely nice, friendly and helpful.
Can't say enough about David. He went above and beyond to help us plan our 1 day in Dublin. Place was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent! Would definitely go back.
Location was a fair walk from some of the tourist attractions. We took the hop on/off bus to get across the river and then made our way back on foot which was fun. Had some good recommendations from David on fun pubs to stop at on our way back!
Very good advices for diner. Comfortable rooms and breakfast very cosy in the veranda
The location is good. Breakfast was quality. And the general atmosphere was comfortable.
The place is very impersonal and for the price it lacked consistent quality. The TV picture and channel selection were both 3rd rate.
Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was large and cosy and the staff were pleasant. Enjoyed the breakfast too.
Very friendley and helpful staff.
Mediocre breakfast Not brilliant value for money
We arrived very early and were greeted well. Both the setting and the breakfast were fantastic. I am glad to recommend the Waterloo House. Hope that you like it as much as we did! JD, Mississauga Ontario,Canada
Particularly, the first-rate breakfast and the elegant breakfast room. (I would prefer it without the music, but such music as was played was reasonably civilised, and when I ate alone, the staff were willing to turn it off - contrast the mindless racket from Radio Prole that blights so many dining rooms today.) In all, excellent, and I would most gladly Return.
I liked everything about it. Thought it so much better than hotels. Nice dining room very pleasant sitting area . Walking distance to centre of city restaurants etc
Friendly Clean Comfortable Great breakfast Great value
very nice staff, the owner, receptionist, people in the cafeteria. also breakfast was ok, consistent
the spider webs at all windows and also inside the cafeteria. A little more attention to details would be nice
Very friendly staff Cleanliness Breakfast Pillows
Décor was dark and dull Room smelt of previous occupant Room was small TV didn't work Bed was a little lumpy A fair walk down to city centre
The room was big, the bed was comfortable. There was a bath (which my wife prefers to a shower) and the breakfast was very very good indeed. David who welcomed us was friendly and helpful. The location is great for walking into the city centre (we enjoyed an evening at the Gaiety Theatre). The WiFi is good and completely open - no passwords or other messing about!
The TV distribution needs to be modernised. It is still analogue and pretty fuzzy despite widescreen DTV being the norm in Ireland. There is some noise from the rooms above mainly I guess due to the age of the house.
Nice neighbourhood with plenty of local cafés and restaurants. Easy walking to the major tourist areas. Attentive staff and good breakfast.
Old hotel that requires a facelift. Plumbing a problem, linens need replacing, in particular the duvets.
