Staff were helpful and welcoming, free wi-fi throughout, breakfast was lovely, room facilities were good, area was really nice and quiet but only 20 min stroll to Grafton Street
It is in a residential section at the outskirts of the busy downtown section, so it was quiet. It was a beautiful area. The accommodations were basic, but nice and clean. And the staff were very helpful and kind, more than I could ask. The price was great too.
It was a little walk to get to the downtown attractions. We didn't mind walking, but for those who don't want to walk a lot, you would need to take a taxi or bus.
Staff was very friendly; even a change of number of members in our group on short notice was no problem. Nothing to complain about. Would choose the hotel again
On bus route to city centre Good breakfast
The staff went out of their way to help locate a chiropractor appt for my husband wen we arrived and he was in a lot of pain. Great location and really good value for money.
Location, off street parking
Shabby, badly needs a refurb,
The staff were excellent, breakfast delicious, the room charming and very clean. The Lodge is located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, but there are several pubs and shops nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
The walk to City Centre may be a little long for some, although I personally enjoyed the exercise and not having to deal with all that noise in the evenings. There is a very convenient bus as an alternative.
Dining room cant seat everyone. Stairs everywhere not able to use luggage lift. Single room a closet with no where to sit. Floors above creaked all night. Beds old and springs poking up. Parking abismal.
Our accommodation,at the back, also the breakfast, and the staff.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely porridge for breakfast. Parking ok for small cars. Can walk to city or bus at door. Good information re Dublin in room folder.
Washing machine broken after they agreed to do our washing. Creeky floor.
The breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the accommodation at the back of the hotel, so it was peaceful and private. Would definitely stay at Waterloo Lodge again.
We booked the quiet which you can request when booking. The room is at the back in the garden you hear no noise whatsoever. The staff are very friendly always willing to help with a smile. The b&b is a short walk to the city centre and the aircoach bus stop which goes to the airport is a 5 mins walk.
All the staff were excellent, they gave us a lot of tips and information, definetly we can come back on the future.
Very kind staff, silence during the night, good breakfast, very close to the stop for the coach to airport.
Shower quite "weak"... In our triple room in the ground floor. The breakfast room is small...luckily there was a free table otherwise waiting would have been a problem for us and we would not have been in time for coach to the airport
The staff couldn't be more helpful and the breakfast was excellent.
cheap and nasty mattress, shower with only a dribble of water, very expensive for the standard of service.
Friendly staff made us very welcome Bedroom clean and comfortable Enjoyed the breakfasts
Lovely staff very comfortable bed
Very noisy (inside) - guests ring bell for entry up until 1am
Stayed here with my two friends on the bank hol wend. Great location only 20 mins walk to city very straight forward. Rooms had everything we required, loads of towels, a hair dryer that worked and ironing board. Will defo return.
Everything was top class
I like the faded Georgian aspect
It did the job - no complaints
Very friendly staff! Enough space in room and bath. Very clean! Good pub, "Searsons" , close to the lodge! Perfekt wifi!
Staff were attentive, well organised and very helpful. Breakfast very good and value for the price. Location is good with bus, the 39a right outside the place, taking you into the heart of the City. Easy journey of about 10 minutes. Excellent eateries around the corner from Waterloo Lodge. Wi fi excellent. There was parking there as well.
Rooms a little small and dated but certainly ok in the grand scheme of things
the room was quiet. The breakfast was good. The information given by the receptionist, who was very kind, was useful.
The breakfast was great. Thanks everyone.
The creaky floor boards.
Excellent staff who welcomed us and made us feel at home. Excellent breakfast made to order and fresh. The location was great, and near to many pubs and eat outs. Also, short walk to St Stephens and Marion park
