Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
I stayed for a couple of nights in October and enjoyed it. The location is only a short walk from city center and the staff were very helpful and friendly, would recommend to anybody.
The doors are big and heavy and are difficult to shut quietly, I was lucky and had quiet and considerate neighbours.
ery good, very quiet area to rest the magnificent night in dublin. with restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk. and 20 minutes from the bars and revelry. very good condition of the 4th great exellent cleaning bathroom. A great Irish breakfast with plenty of choice of cereals, bread cakes candy, besides the plate of beans with egg, sausage, sirloin, chorizo and bacon.
courtesy of staff and helpfuless.
thought breakfast was included in original booking fees, so was surprised when it came as an extra!
Helpful and friendly staff and good breakfast.
Mattress broken down on the sides. Water pressure in shower inadequate. 2 of 3 nights contended with guest noise from above me--creaky floors, guests that were jumping or dropping things, conversations and the 2:30 am drunks singing and giggling. Upper floors may be better but 104 has some issues.
The staff was very friendly. I arrived at 1 am, and the night doorman was there to let me in and give me my room. Then I took a tour and left very early, before the breakfast time. So they leaved me food that I could eat early in the morning.
The room was big, eveything was clean and personal was friendly. Moreover they speak several languages.
They should have some plug adaptators.
All of above
Very helpful and friendly staff especially Beatrice Good breakfasts Quiet at night Good shower great wifi
Little niggly repairs needed doing, like the top of the hot water tap in basin coming off, the socket by the bed with big gaps round it not looking very safe, creaky wooden floor and no rug next to bed made it a bit colder, fire alarm going off one morning presumably due to burning something in the kitchen yet no staff coming up to tell us not to worry so we didn't have to rush down 3 flights of stairs half dressed!
The location was very good, we walk to the center and back, it was good that we had a parking, (it cost 7 ero)
very helpful staff and friendly, homely atmosphere
Staff were helpful and welcoming, free wi-fi throughout, breakfast was lovely, room facilities were good, area was really nice and quiet but only 20 min stroll to Grafton Street
It is in a residential section at the outskirts of the busy downtown section, so it was quiet. It was a beautiful area. The accommodations were basic, but nice and clean. And the staff were very helpful and kind, more than I could ask. The price was great too.
It was a little walk to get to the downtown attractions. We didn't mind walking, but for those who don't want to walk a lot, you would need to take a taxi or bus.
Location n staff
Fairly basic place it is. I wouldn't pay €100 for such a room plus no elevators.
- Good breakfast - acceptable walking distance to city center, close to canal - parking available - very nice and friendly staff (mainly from Eastern Europe) - family rooms available
Lift out of order for good and narrow stairs, so difficult for elderly people.
Staff was very friendly; even a change of number of members in our group on short notice was no problem. Nothing to complain about. Would choose the hotel again
On bus route to city centre Good breakfast
The staff went out of their way to help locate a chiropractor appt for my husband wen we arrived and he was in a lot of pain. Great location and really good value for money.
Very good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Bus stop literally outside door.
Noisy floor boards overhead (@ 4:30am) Bed was quite lumpy I'm afraid.
Location, off street parking
Shabby, badly needs a refurb,
The staff were excellent, breakfast delicious, the room charming and very clean. The Lodge is located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, but there are several pubs and shops nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
The walk to City Centre may be a little long for some, although I personally enjoyed the exercise and not having to deal with all that noise in the evenings. There is a very convenient bus as an alternative.
Dining room cant seat everyone. Stairs everywhere not able to use luggage lift. Single room a closet with no where to sit. Floors above creaked all night. Beds old and springs poking up. Parking abismal.
Friendly staff who were all Polish.
As soon as i arrived was asked to pay in full which was strange.Couldn't get seated at breakfast so was asked to go back to my room and wait for a phone call, which was ridiculous.waited 10 minutes no call came so went down to breakfast and 3 tables were empty.
