With GPS - it was easy to find. The location is near perfect with a great frontage on the Bay. House is relatively new and very well kept up. Rooms are upstairs - no elevator. Clean - good facilities. Breakfast was outstanding. We were getting tired of the "Full Irish Breakfast." You can have that - but we were also offered Pancakes or Oatmeal. Great B&B experience.
A small thing that probably wouldn't bother a lot of people - a very small TV and only a handful of channels. There was a DVD player, which we hadn't gotten with other places, so that helped us entertain ourselves.
We had a front room with a view over the water to Kenmare. Noreen was really friendly and welcoming, and was kind enough to let us leave our baggage before check in time so we could tour with a little comfort. We enjoyed our brief stay here and would recommend this to others. Kenmare is a very nice town and this bed and breakfast added to our experience.
Cannot think of anything that we didn't like there.
Excellent B&B. Very friendly staff, spacious, well equiped rooms, delicious breakfastll and friendly old dog :)
It seems awful to be negative because the owner was so sweet but.. It would have been good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There was a kettle in the guest lounge/ breakfast room but it was a bit of a pain, after having a shower at night to have to get dressed in something other than pyjamas to go downstairs to make a cup of tea before going to bed. Breakfast was adequate but quite ordinary. I guess we had been spoilt by the fresh fruit salad at other places so the tinned fruit was a bit disappointing. The towels were hard and the bath mat was old with bleached patches.
The owner was a lovely lady. The house was within walking distance of the town which was good for going out for dinner. The room was spacious and although it was a back room there was a nice outlook.the bed was comfy.there was plenty of parking.
Very hard to pick any faults. Wifi was variable and usually didn't make it to the room. We were told this was a local issue with the regional wifi
It a great elevated location overlooking the river from 2 rooms and morning sun in the other 2. It is an easy walk into Kenmare town. Noreen is a really caring host who has put a lot of thought into helping guests enjoy their stay. Would highly recommend Watersedge. Plenty of parking.
Gorgeous setting and views, lovely homemade breakfast, Noreen was extremely friendly and helpful.
Room clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast, close to town, very friendly A +
First time to use a b&b and my family couldn't have been any happier, it was a great experience and hope to stay again in the near future, many thanks to the hostess
We stayed only one night, Sept. 11, 2014, at Watersedge Guesthouse in Kenmare. Room #2 up one flight of stairs with one double and one single bed faced the back of the beautifully landscaped property and was very quiet and peaceful. Noreen welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed the view from the deck on the front of the house overlooking the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. We had lovely bed linen, great water pressure in the shower, fast wifi and a delicious full Irish breakfast to start our day. We would definitely stay here again.
The location was brilliant, the hosts friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent, the rooms good, the sleep even better - even the dog was very friendly. Heartily recommend it.

very good view!
The scenery is excellent, great breakfast, peaceful room. What else would you want? And the old dog!
Friendly staff and family run.As we were leaving before scheduled breakfast start time the proprietor gave us an early breakfast, no problem.
This B&B is a distance from town which makes for a quiet sleep and a peaceful atmosphere. The view is amazing. Noreen is a gracious hostess and we had a delightful but short stay. We left right after our breakfast to start our drive of the Ring.
spacious room, good breakfast
Great accommodation, calm location, nice owner, we can only recomend for everyone and awesome breakfast.
Noreen-welcoming, friendly and helpful. Gave us a lovely packed lunch to take with us when we were leaving- marvelous value for 5 euro per lunch which included bottled water.
Owner Noreen was friendly and welcoming. Short 12 min walk to town. Quiet location. Breakfast was fast and delicious.
The showers were tough to figure out
The owner is lovely.
