The Waterside House Hotel  

The location of the hotel and the friendly and helpful staff were the best things about the hotel

The hotel is in need of updating the room whilst clean was shabby and the plumbing outdated and the lounge was also in need of refurbishment

Friendly staff, good bar facilities and gorgeous views. Also it was right on the beach

We are having our wedding here in july ...we had our menu tasting last night and I have to say the food was amazing ..the staff are absolutly brilliant ..it such such a nice relaxing hotel with a great family atmosphere around the place

Lovely hotel

from the moment i walked in the door the staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome.

rooms are very comfy but could do with freshening up a little, coat of paint, carpets cleaned etc.

Had a lovely stay meal was first class and service very good Staff friendly and helpful Beautiful location looking out onto the sea from the restauraunt at breakfast time Good value for money and would definately go back

From the moment you arrive just relax and unwind with the amazing sea views and cosy rooms,food and drink is top class,and staff are fabulous,a stay here is one to remember,magnificent all round!

I liked everything about the waterside hotel. It is a lovely hotel with friendly staff, well kept rooms, great food and absolutely fabulous views, I have already booked a return trip and look forward to it. Also the price for the room was fantastic value as I got it in a flash deal having registered with booking.com. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

quiet location and beside the beach for a relaxing few days close to Malahide without the noise

Our experience at the hotel was not as good as our previous stay, On a positive note the Waterside allowed us to change our booking made earlier because of family circumstances as we had to change our flight. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a balcony room for euro20, we said NO, however we were upgraded anyway, the room was nice but there was a distinct smell from the toilet and landing area, beautiful view and room was comfortable, Breakfast was somewhat uncomfortable, the service was poor and it was awkward getting self service as the door was heavy and it would have been better if the food was in the dining room, toast was not brown enough and we had to wait around for the waiter, it felt like there were few staff, reception staff were great, bar staff were great, we stayed in 2 other hotels in the last 2 weeks and compared to them I feel the Waterside has room for improvement, I won't stay again, I'm afraid, unless i am really stuck, for euro 77 I would expect it to be better, sorry for this but did not really enjoy our stay,

Smell coming from Toilet and Landing area, the breakfast appeared to be a bit uncomfortable, food was outside the dining room and it was difficult to keep going in an out with dishes and trying to open the door, this was the only downside to the hotel.I chose other as the reason I chose this hotel as I had a good experience the last time but this time was not as good,
