Reception staff very nice and all dining room staff very nice . Boru bar was interesting had a lot of charm The evening meal was very basic poorly presented, lacked flair . staff seemed to lack guidance from management. Overall the place seemed a bit dated.

Staff were extremely helpful & friendly. Handy to get into the main town centre from the hotel. The hotel is badly in need of a makeover. Rooms really need to be updated. We stayed for 2 nights & paid €106 a night which was not worth that much money.

The bed old and creaky. When I booked in booking.com the price went from 54 euro when I put in my debit card details to 59 euro. I pointed this out to hotel staff and showed the web site at 54euro inclusive of vat. This had not happened in other hotels

the room we stayed in, 217, was old, shabby and not very clean. we paid a rate of Euro 124 for two of us. this is an absolute disgrace. You cannot expect to charge those rates for a room that is sub-standard and not acceptible

This hotel offers a good quality accommodation for families. Have stayed several times. Stayed for Feis. This is the second year in succession that the hotel was inadequately staffed in the dining area. They appeared overwhelmed at breakfast time with a Q out the door, tables not available/ cleared insufficient crockery.

Very friendly welcoming staff. After a late night out in Ennis they brought us tea & toast up to our room with no hesitation at all. Good value for money, good breakfast which is available until 11 at weekends which is great for a lie in! Handy location as near to town centre & good base to explore Co Clare from.

You could walk into Ennis in 15-20 minutes to eat. Ennis is OK. It was like walking into a very busy leisure centre and there was bingo on the night we stayed. It was all a bit "tired" and needs a make-over! Stayed in other places in Ireland for much less per night and their rooms were much better too.

There was nothing nice about the west county hotel I spoke to the manager and he gave me a full refund is the only positive thing I can say about it. This was very little consilation to us as we only had 2 nights to stay and the kids didnt get in the pool the first day. it was dirty, dated, breakfast was cooked for some time, the pool leisure facilities were not available to us at all times as stated on the website, there was no kids club as promised on the website. very very unpleasant stay I spent my time there looking for another hotel to stay in the following evening. We only had two days of a break. My Family were very disapointed
