With a superb location, right in the heart of Ennis, the hotel is a great base from which to explore all that this vibrant and exciting town has to offer.

A former manor house dating back to the 18th century, this ivy-clad residence has been totally refurbished to provide the warmth of a country home with the style of a luxury hotel.
Score from 216 reviews Excellent
Featuring an indoor swimming pool, a relaxing hot tub, and a modern gym, bar and restaurant, Auburn Lodge is a 5-minute drive from the center of Ennis. Shannon Airport is 9 miles away.

In a great location in the center of Ennis, just off the main road from Galway and Shannon, the Ashford Court Boutique Hotel is tucked away in a peaceful residential neighborhood.
Score from 529 reviews Very good
This was my third time to stay at West County as myself and my partner enjoy our time here.Staff are really friendly and genuine. We ate twice in the bar and again food was top quality and portions were filling. We will stay again.
I would like a bigger room and bed option.Taxi service varied with prices to town ranging from 6 to 8 euro.I would advise hotel if they could to get deal with one of local taxi firms would be ideal.
Food in the bar was good and reasonably priced. WiFi signal was great. Pool and gym onsite if you want it.
The duvet on the bed was too light for this time of year, I found it quite cold during the night, but most hotels I stay in seem to have the same issue.
Check in receptionist lovely Waiting staff in bar very good & food lovely Room very nice Country music band excellent (Michael English) Check out receptionist lovely
Poor service in residents bar after dance!!!
Comfortable and peaceful even with a very large event on site. Leisure centre is well equipped and spacious.
Some areas are due for redecoration and showing their age, although they are clean and well kept.
Helpful, efficient, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Great food, nicely presented and reasonably priced... Comfortable rooms fit for purpose.
Lift 'Out of Order' (not good for elderly with some small mobility issues)
Staff made up for dated hotel.
Had to change room due to noise. The room was tiny curtain torn chair stained this room needed a makeover.
A good spacious hotel.great choice of eating . Clean . Staff lovely.
Thought it a bit loud when guests were arriving to there rooms.didnt worry too much about other guest already in there rooms.
the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and informative about local attractions

Value for money but the hotel needs updating!
Leisure centre, apart from the jacuzzi bullies. Freshly decorated. Bar entertainment. Great food. Clean room. Handy for Bunratty Castle and Cliffs of Moher.
Stuck in lift for 15 minutes. Wi-Fi not great.
We requested bunkbeds but didn't get them
Was OK won't really look to stay there again. The bar food Was very good.
Bit ran down.
Friendliness and efficiency of all of the staff from reception to bar and breakfast wait staff. Nothing was too much trouble and any request was met with a smile. Comfortable beds, good quality bed linen -Excellent breakfast. Lovely coffee shop
Having to leave
Food selection Staff very accommodating
Staff were very friendly and helpful..
length off time waiting for food
Friendly staff, only 5 minute walk from town, pool and jacuzzi were nice, overall baisc but reasonably priced so you get what you pay for
hotel was ok, room was small and very warm, even when we turned off radiator. Bathroom small, shower bit cramped, rooms would need to be revamped a bit so would corridors, carpets years old
Everything was very good, food staff etc.
The only problem was your leaky roof which did not affect us.
Huge hole in the ceiling, leaking, buckets everywhere. Rooms were filthy, stained sheets, pillows and towels. Wine was served to me with a mouldy tea towel wrapped around the bottle.food was very poor and overpriced. Service was abysmal. No apologies offered when we commented on the appalling stay we had. Checked out at 10am next morning and headed to the Auburn Lodge which was beautiful.Rooms food and staff here were amazing, couldn't do enough for us.
Hallways etc ,decoration and carpets very dated!
Location of hotel and entertainment in bar. Staff pleasant. Breakfast hours were good for weekend so that was appreciated.
Bathroom old and worn. Old bath mat, rubber hung on bath. Was grubby and dirty. Rust in shower. Noisy room. Rooms overall have a tired feel.
For 99 euros for a family room I didn't expect to be as pleasantly surprised as I was. Rooms very comfortable, gym was good, breakfast great after. Highly recommend.
Attitude of staff.
Room small for 2. Children were running up and down the room corridor at various times prevent an evening nap. Bar music too loud to talk with friends.
