West County Hotel and Leisure Centre  

value for money friendly helpful staff good sized family room location

room at night was too hot only ventilation was by window which we were only able to open a small bit. the hotel wasn't sign posted from railway station and bus stop.

I like the West County because it is in a good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really nice. The room was nice maybe a little refurbishment needed but it was very clean and warm. I would stay here again

A beautiful hotel,modern,large clean rooms,lovely staff,perfect food and lots of it,a good position and a good place to stay.

We arrived on a very cold April and froze ,however we asked for a heater and all well.

It's 12 as value for money. 44euros for double room plus 15 for breakfast for two. For such funny amount you get the gym, swimming pool,sauna, turkish bath. And of course lovely Boru Porterhouse where some guests spend hours.

Needs renovation, maybe modernization but it would definitely change the price level.

there was 3 faults at the hotel for me on the night i stayed, the floors are really creaky in places in the room, i was on the 3rd floor so i felt sorry for the people below every time i stepped on it, The walls are very thin so you can hear alot sometimes too much ;) and the cafe food was only ok.

I found this hotel to be friendly, affordable and comfortable.As I was on business I did not get a chance to use the leisure facilities.I do intend to stay at this hotel again.

I felt that the rooms and general decor of the hotel is a bit dated and could do with some freshening up.

At check in we were met with an extremely friendly receptionist, she was very helpful and really very nice. The room was very basic but clean...at such a reasonable price it did the job. The bar was very lively and had a nice atmosphere, we were able to stay in the bar as long as we liked, the bar staff were very accomodating. The food at the carvery the following day was nice but basic, once again for such a reasonable price you can't really complain. I didn't get a chance to use the leisure centre but would return to the hotel again and will definately avail of it the next time.
