Staff were absolutely lovely , both at we reception and the bar . location also brilliant
Very central, staff very friendly food was fantastic
Wifi wasn't great
Excellent location . Good value dinner in restaurant 3 course meal per person before 7.30 €19.90 or €22.90 after that . Their was also a voucher in the room for a free bottle of wine .The staff were very friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay and would say there again
We stayed in 2 bed apartment at back of hotel. Spacious bedrooms, fine sitting room and good kitchen, perfect for a family of 4. Good locations, 2 mins from Eyre Square
You have to go through car park to get to apartment!
In a great location but look more like a b n b than hotel bit dated
Staff wer excellent and all so friendly everything was so close by and for ne it was greati was dissap
I was disappointed that there was no breakfast included and normally where ever I stay I always get one evening meal free
Friendly staff. Very central
Everything but great location
Ideal for a group sharing a room, great price
The only thing missing was shelf or drawer space for clothes.
The Location and price
The room was very basic
The rooms were spotless. The hotel staff were very friendly. And a good breakfast t
Friendly staff good location
Book out at11am. No late bar when we were told there was
The food was horrible on both days, the staff were so unfriendly. Never will i be back and also wouldn't advise anyone to stay here.
We didnt like anything about this hotel, the food was terrible,it was like a b&b more than a hotel.
We had a terrible time here and were put out of the hotel due to "smoking" in our room. There was no non smoking sign in our room as we were told there was. There also was inappropriate pictures took of us in our room without our consent. The only word i could describe it is a "hole" and wouldnt advise anyone to consider booking it.
Great value for u Money if u complain the. U just a tit
Location, wonderful shower, great breakfast
Bed not great
Staff were not very helpful and the parking at hotel was very small had to leave ur keys with staff incase they had to move ur car which they did. Then when checking out next morning staff couldnt find my car. It was drama.
The location could not be better, there's centra around, very close to the railway station, very close to the city centre. The staffs are helpful, very lovely room with a small balcony.
The wifi is really poor, our phones can not even find it
cold wet night , had to ask for the heat to be put on 3 times, then requested a heater, fried breakfast a bit greasy , 2nd morn had poached eggs
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking included in the rate (very important in the city) and a perfect location. Both meals I had in the restaurant, dinner and breakfast, were delicious. And I loved the ambiance of the hotel. Preserving the old but updating just enough to be modern. Great hotel!
The only thing is I could not find the hairdryer. I could have rang to the desk, but I looked everywhere and could not find it.
This hotel is ideally located in the centre of Galway, within walking distance of the train station, parking also available. It offers fantastic value for money. We were in room 401 on the forth floor, a very large spacious room with a comfortable double bed. The hotel provided a nice breakfast each morning, make sure to arrive on time as they tidy away at 10am sharp! Luggage storage available upon request. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice. Staff also very pleasant.
Our bathroom window didn't close properly resulting in our bathroom being FREEZING cold as there was no radiator in there. It was advertised that the room came with a bath but ours didn't. When we arrived our room had no towels. On second day our room still hadn't been cleaned and we had to ask for it to be cleaned, apparently they were still cleaning the rooms that were vacated that morning! The room was heated with two storage heaters, one of them was broken. The TV was also quite small in proportion to the size of the room but overall these are minor things. It is a good value hotel in the heart of Galway and I would recommend it.
Car park and location
Resturaunt - early bird feed was excellent Staff were amazing & couldn't help enough
Initial room was comfortable but no hot water. Staff were excellent & upgraded us to a apartment. Apartment did come with amazing views overlooking the city. However detracted by the following: - walls very dirty & worn. Sticky tape on pillars/walls/window from previous occupants. Holes in walls not repaired. Windows very dirty from finger prints. - couch snuck in the middle, we propped it up with pillows. - tissues, money & baby wipes found under a bed - stains over carpet?? - beds hard/sagging/lumpy& uncomfortable - drains in shower didn't drain - but great water pressure -
