The room was a generous size, breakfast was good, atmosphere and singer in the bar was excellent and staff outstanding.
Parking is a little tight, but it is a city centre hotel.
very good location. Nice staff. comfortable and quiet room. good breakfast
Wonderful breakfast, lots of room ,very quiet, very clean....
Central location Friendly staff Good breakfast
Old hard uncomfortable beds Street noise Thin walls
location just off Eyre Square, bar with live music, excellent restaurant, free car park, lovely breakfast
slightly tired decor
The hospitality of every member of staff starting at reception with Kim and Kiera set the mood for everything else. Every possible comfort was provided from beginning to end.
Special offer on the internet
A towel had a blood stain on it an the red cloths on the bed were dusty, else good
Lovely hotel and staff. Got an upgrade to a two bed apartment which was lovely.
Nothing really... All was good! Think maybe the living area of apartment could be more homely. Maybe change wall color to warmer color and add curtains and some pictures, but was a lovely apartment. Would stay again.
reception area was very poor, bar not very nice and the food at breakfast was cold and tasteless.
Lovely staff, parking, lovely building.. Rooms very comfortable.. Lovely breakfast.. Fantastic location.
Not one of the three TV sets worked and there was mold in the bathroom.
Ideal location for Eyre Square & Shop Street
Location excellent breakfast excellent staff lovely Would definitely recommend this hotel Gal way as always was buzzing
In need of refurbishment , grubby . Bar food only ok, not great.
Friendly staff, good restaurant.
Limited off-street parking.
location apartment food bar
wi fi didn't work too hot to sleep couldn't get through the gate when leaving as the intercom didn't work and had to wait half an hour for someone to drive in before we could leave Had problems with intercom going into the building Breakfast was chaotic, couldn't get a waitress to take order and had to keep going over to ask for drinks/ cups/ utensils
Our room was particularly spacious. Parking facilities much appreciated. Restaurant of excellent quality.
Breakfast was beautiful with loads of choice
The traditional music we got to hear in the pub was some of the best we came across in ireland. The location of the hotel was good, near the centre and the bus station is a short walk. The food was good too for the price.
The parking is a bit difficult, the car park was full when we arrived and we were told to park as close as we could and bring the keys to reception. Well the car stayed exactly where we left it on the street and not put in the car park. Not a big deal, but if you're looking for secure parking that may not be it. The staff were not overly approachable, the reception woman was fine but not overly friendly. However, the bar man was difficult to even get a drink from despite the fact the bar was empty, even food was difficult to order. I can understand when the bar is in full swing, but we were only one of two in there so that was disappointing. The "room" was remarkably small, so small that if someone was sitting at the tiny desk you had to crawl over the bed to get to the toilet. A bit over priced for the size of the room we recieved. The breakfast was good, but again the staff were brisk in demeanour and that was off putting. Over all would not stay again.
It was a bit of a climb for us being over 70 There were no easy chairs in room There was no toilet paper in en suite The shower was slow draining so you were stood in water One of the pillows had no top pillowcase
Everything except the car parking situation.
Parking needs serious attention...guests who have small children cannot be expected to park far away from the hotel like we had to. Leaving vehicle keys for a complete stranger to re arrange the parking is also unacceptable
We got a free upgrade to an apartment which was really nice.
No curtains - blinds only - so the morning sunrise woke my partner v early.
We were very close to the town which eliminated taxis
Found the room very warm and a bit small....
Location and ambiance of the place. Parking guys do a great job and the staff in the dining room excellent service as well as giving great travel tips for the area. I like the hotel but would have reservations about rooms next time
Room 110 should not be used as it has inadequate curtains, fronts directly onto the main road which has traffic continuously and was very hot requiring the window to be open. We asked for a change but were given the brush off by the receptionist. Perhaps we should have been more insistent but it was poor and it would have been no surprise to the hotel.
