food drinks staff and room all excellent
The days of paid wifi should be long over
We were very happy to hear there was a Westin in Dublin, and were certainly not disappointed. You get everything you expect from a quality hotel, and in a great location. Perfect for a long weekend in Dublin.
Great room (delux twin) Location is great Vault cocktail bar superb Staff are excellent Very clean and stylish
No Leisure facilities Our check in was delayed by one hour and we had to enquire three times... Very expensive breakfast Had to wait 15 mins for our car after checkout
The location, the bed & room were luxurious.
The extra fee for breakfast, unlike other 5* hotels we stayed in throughout Europe. The fee to have internet service in our room seemed to be out of sinc with the 5* community of luxurious hotels we stayed in thruout Europe. Excessive charge in a world where even a holiday inn has free in room internet service.
The Mint Bar had a great atmosphere.
I loved the size of the room. The closets were large and lit up when the doors opened. Very comfortable and luxurious.
The marble bathroom was elegant, but the shower floor was like a skating rink. I had to lay a bath towel down so as not to slip and fall. Be careful!
Staff Rooms Location
Thought cheeky to ask for 15 € Per day for internet When paying 455 € a room Breakfast pretty average
We enjoyed our say at this hotel. Staff we're extremely friendly and polite.
The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool or jacuzzi. This could maybe be a plus to the hotel if people do want to relax
Relaxing but professional
Boofhead in bar whose service was inadequate and excuse that he had been on holidays
Comfortable beds, great for jet lag. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent.
Overpriced for what it is. Room is small. Gym equipment needed maintenance.
location food staff high standards
The hotel is central and has an excellent restaurant and bar. The service was good. The decor is nice, as a former bank it has kept to this theme.
We booked a triple room and when we got there the room was rather small and had 1 double bed! A single bed was later delivered. Never came across this in a 5* hotel before.
Excellent staff, great location, excellent facilities
Functional hotel, what you would expect for 5 star. staff were pleasent and polite. room was stylish, very comfortable, great view and quiet. Good location. No flourishes really but enjoyed our stay.
Hair in breakfast! Not expected in calibre of hotel but staff dealt with very well. food was generally a bit disappointing for price paid. No other complaints
Bedding , friendly staff, helpful concierge
Windows so not open for fresh air , if someone was talk they may not fit in shower well as ceiling in bathroom was low, but fine.
Great service from all staff Amazing cocktails in the mint bar Most comfy bed ever
Having to leave and go home!
We were due to see Garth Brooks but as the concert was canceled we decided to come to Dublin anyway. We were very impressed with the hotel, the location was excellent, so easy to walk to many popular places, but not right in the center of all the hustle and bustle. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the Mint Bar was super and coffee/drinks in the fantastic Atrium is a must. The room was luxurious and the "single" beds were big and comfortable.
Can't think of anything
Very gray and not very inviting. Very expensive for basic rooms. I would try another property next time. Didn't even give our wake up call when requested.
having to pay for wireless internet and it becoming a negotiation rather than a simple benefit. In this day and age paying for wireless internet as an extra is akin to paying for the cost of plumbing to the room. Why are Westin damaging their brand like this ? Bad start to an otherwise good stay as a great location
Great Location Speedy check in Valet parking Customer service late at night Points awarded on SPG account
Nothing, the place is excellent.
waiting to be checked in for 10 to 15 mins. you have to pay for Wifi in your room, absolutely ridiculous .
Location was as important as being a modern, clean hotel
The price. It was worth it and the price was comparable to other hotels of this standard in the area
Atmosphere. Cleanliness. Comfort. Location. Room. Attention at the desk.
No free wifi. Dear car valet. Rotating door access. Breakfast dear, poor and limited choices.
Very comfortable bed and bedding.
Bathroom floors not cleaned Before or arrival.
