Breakfast not as you would expect
Room was brilliant with good facilities and very clean, friendly and helpful staff, brilliant concierge, fantastic location
Wifi facilities very poor
He liked the location and the service of the hotel. A good hotel central for business appointments taking place in Dublin. All within walking distance of his hotel
Excellent location within minutes of Grafton Street and OConnell Street on foot. Very welcoming staff. The Mint Bar and Atrium are relaxing and well run . The rooms arecosy and spotless.
I liked everything.
The location is perfect for a city weekend. Staff is very helpful. Lounge on first floor is fabulous. Got upgraded to a wonderful room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking Trinity College.
Ridiculous not to offer free WiFi in such an expensive hotel. The ventilation was a bit loud in our room.
Clean Location Staff Early check-in was accommodated...very kind
Price of WiFI....should be Free in a hotel of this standard
Expensive car parking compared to other similar hotels near by
We were happy with the location for meeting friends, shopping and eating out. The Atrium is a lovely place to relax. All staff were friendly and professional.
Wifi should be available free of charge.
bed was amazing; nice views; very lovely room; location excellent - really great for popping in and out with Christmas shopping; hot apple juice in foyer a nice touch; enjoyed the complimentary biscuits with tea.
bathroom door in room 500 would not stay closed - there was no latch, (unless you closed it with the lock from the inside), resulting in (a) air conditioning/extractor on all night and unable to turn off; (b) condensation from shower, and bathroom fragrances not being isolated; (c) echo from tv loudspeaker in bathroom. Also there did not seem to be a way to have the lamps in the room turn on without having the hallway light on. With the black out curtains, this makes for a rather dangerous endeavor getting to bed or getting up at night to use the toilet (though at least you didn't have to open the toilet door in the dark). As this stay was a present for my partner, I asked the receptionist on the phone in advance to give me the bill discretely. Unfortunately this did not happen.
The staff were very helpful and wonderful
The bed was way too soft ...no support at all
No free wifi
late checkout on Sunday Great idea
Honestly there was nothing that we didn't like and that's a rarity in the hotel industry in Ireland. if i could afford it i would always check into a Westin Hotel because the Customer is still valued and the Staff is well trained and very courteous
We loved everything about Westin Dublin and will recommend this hotel to everyone who are going to visit Ireland.
The location is absolutly perfect, you're in walking distance to everything. Staff is really helpful and friendly. The comfort in the rooms is superb and the beds is to die for. Some have complained about the cost for the wifi but we signed up for (a free) membership in their hotels and got our wifi for free the whole stay. Also that was excellent. Best wifi, so fast and never got disconnected. This hotel is expensive but if you spend this amount you will have a luxury stay.
On arrival we were delighted to be given an upgrade.Bedroom was fab, most comfortable beds& pillows ever.Staff arrived with complimentary wine& cake. One of our best wkends on Dublin.thank you dining room staff,so professional& hard working. All staff were extremely helpful,'we'll be back!!'
The design of the rooms, both layout and decor and the feel of the public reception areas. It felt more like a country house than an international hotel chain.
the revolving entrance door which was heavy and not automated.
Very friendly staff, knowledge about the local area Amazing bed so comfortable
Staff friendly. Room high standard. Bed very comfortable. In room breakfast served quickly and good quality. Parking service good
Fire alarm in the middle of the night. Phones not answered very quickly. Staff very pleasant but didn't always know what they were doing. Room keys not programmed for the lift properly so lift wouldn't go past second floor
Hotel was lovely very helpful and friendly ten breakfast both mornings was exceptional
We were in room 420 which looks onto the high street and found it very noisy all night busses taxi people shouting or friends were in 523 and had no noise! It's important when on z break away to get your sleep - disappointed
The staff was excellent.
That the wifi was a paid service
I've stayed in your hotel Many times before Breakfast staff is just wonderful
I requested an early wake up call in irder to make my flight I never received it Went to have tea in the mezzanine area . Don't recall having to make a reservation ever before Doorman wasn't on staff either
Location Comfort Willingness of staff to sort out problems
The baffling policy of demanding a 100 Euro 'Pre-Authorisation Payment'. This was refused, then reduced to 50 E and a room upgrade given. Message - 'Management doesn't trust me'. Moving 2 bottles of coke from the fridge to keep the milk cold triggered a mystery charge. This was sorted by the staff
Servers in the exchange restaurant during breakfast are very friendly, attentive and professional.
A Sauna and/or swimming facility would make it an exceptional hotel. Why no offer neighbours facilities?
