the room was quite old for a 4* standard (bathroom old, the tv really small and not flat screen) as well in the morning the breakfast was really poor (only toast and cereal present at the buffet, no fruits or yoghurt or bakerie) we had to wait more than 30 minutes to get coffee and the waitress was really rude and not helpfull (did not even say sorry or propose tea because they could not make working the coffee machine, even one guest left as she did not want to wait any longuer.)

The room was very comfortable. The bar food was very tasty. Reception staff were very friendly.

Its location from Westport town centre. Not very far but very hilly walk into town centre.

Lovely room, nice decor in bedroom and hotel in general, breakfast room was lovely, staff were friendly,very good value

There was a door leading to a bedroom next door in our room. We could hear their television and conversation until after midnight, this is not ideal. The jacuzzi was out of order. Food isnt served after 9 tho they offered to bing us sandwiches as we got there at 9.30pm. Surprised there is no facility for room service for sandwiches etc

Friendly & helpful staff

Rooms need revamping very old and in parts shabby. It was fine for us as we were attending a family wedding so time spent in the rooms was minimal however i would not be booking in to Westport Woods for a weekend away.

Food from the bar was good

There wasnt adequate staffing, always had to wait at the bar bespite the only being a few customers

Very relaxing hotel with friendly staff. The rooms; bar; and dining area were very clean and modern. There was a wide variety of breakfast food which was well presented and cooked. The pool area is excellent with good facilities fitness, sauna, steam room, and childrens area. We used it every day.

First impression on entering the hotel was that the reception/lobby area reminded me of an old people’s home. I think this was due to the type of chairs located there. There is also little in the way of subdued lighting, lamps etc. - When I first walked in I was so disappointed I nearly walked away ‘that would have been a mistake; the hotel has a lot to offer.’ As I watch football the Sky TV in the bar was a bonus & not well advertised. The rooms were large and airy but the bathrooms especially need updating a separate shower would be good rather than one over the bath etc. A sofa to watch TV from would also be of benefit - I'm sounding a bit negative but don't really mean to be.

The scenery was beautiful and it was only a few mins from the town centre

When we arrived our room was not ready. We were told it would be a half hour wait but it was closer to an hour. Also the lady at reception was rude and loud and kept answering her mobile phone.

Very friendly staff and generally a great place to stay for families. Bar staff were excellent and very friendly. Great memories from the place and will definitely return.

It was within walking distance from the city of Westport

Very convenient to Westport Town, Reception Staff on Reception very pleasant. Rooms very nice, spacious and well decorated.

When we ate in the bar there were quite a few things missing from the menu. However the food that we did order was very nice.
