very comfortable and friendly excellent breakfast
Staff were really helpful! Breakfast was delicious.
Rooms very clean Breakfast great Lovely staff
The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was excellent The room was very pleasant and the bathroom was first rate too. I would recommend Westwinds to anyone looking for accommodation in Galway, it was comfortable, welcoming and great value for money.
The beds were too soft as we both suffer from bad backs. I should have asked for hard beds where we booked.
Hot water was cold
Close to town. Right across from the ocean. Very friendl staff. Comfortable n loved the breakfast.
A bit noisy on the street.
The nice big bright and spacious room.
My sister and I enjoyed 2 nights. The room was spacious and very quiet. We had a great breakfast and Shona's restaurant recommendation was perfect.
We cannot think of anything negative
The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was impressive and reasonably priced. Wifi worked fine.
The room was small and the walls were paper thin. Others arrived late at night and we could hear everything from conversations to trips to the toilet. The mattress on the bed was unfortunately the worst we have come across on our travels.
Shower tray needed to be changed. Black mould on the sealing of the tray. Did not use shower.
it was very cute and she was very friendly.
the room was just at the entrance so every time someone comes, i woke up. but if you don't take the room 1 , there is no problem.
Clean, friendly establishment. Available for last minute travel plans.
Price was high in comparison to other B&Bs in area.
Good hotel. Nice owners. Rooms are spacious and clean.
This is a great B&B in a fantastic location. The two ladies we met were warm friendly and helpful. Went for a lovely refreshing walk on the promenade before our lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend.
Grouting in shower needs a little work.
The location is good
We stayed here for a night during the Galway races. We paid e170 for a double room. Whilst we expected to pay more during the races, we found that the breakfast was extremely disappointing and the owner did very little to inform us as to what was on the menu. The servings were tiny. I certainly wouldn't stay here again. It isn't your traditional B&B hospitality.
Staff were vey rude and not very nice or very helpful won't be staying there again it costs nothing to be nice
We enjoyed our stay at Westwinds it was one of the best B&B's we have stayed in and would certainly stay again
10 min walk into Galway centre. On the sea front. 5 min walk to Salthill shops. Shauna and staff very attentive. Parking off road. Presentation in dining room was a treat every morning. Very adequate breakfast.
The former owner, who still helps out there, was an especially warmand welcoming lady!
Wish you could see Galway Bay from windows. Shrubs obstruct view.
Liked the quick and easy travel to Galway
The price was rather high for a B&B but it was during raceweek and apparently all prices are jacked.
Fantastic location looking over the Promenade in Salthill. Beautiful breakfast the next morning
Family atthmosphere, very helpful assistance and guiding, excellent breakfast
Location of Guest House not too far away from the City and it was very comfortable We had a great time during our stay
