This is a great B&B in a fantastic location. The two ladies we met were warm friendly and helpful. Went for a lovely refreshing walk on the promenade before our lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Grouting in shower needs a little work.

10 min walk into Galway centre. On the sea front. 5 min walk to Salthill shops. Shauna and staff very attentive. Parking off road. Presentation in dining room was a treat every morning. Very adequate breakfast.

The former owner, who still helps out there, was an especially warmand welcoming lady!

Wish you could see Galway Bay from windows. Shrubs obstruct view.

Liked the quick and easy travel to Galway

The price was rather high for a B&B but it was during raceweek and apparently all prices are jacked.

Westwinds was a great place to stay, very close to the Salt Hill shops and restaurants. The B&B was comfortable and our hosts very welcoming. We were expecting just continental breakfast but were offered eggs as well, a nice surprise.

There was nothing to dislike here!

Good facilities and breakfast. Friendly staff willing to serve breakfast early to catch the bus.

The B&B is bit outside town. Not an unpleasant walk but allow some 30 minutes to the train/bus station.

Continental Breakfast (misnomer) was bacon and choice of eggs plus cereal, fruit juice, toast, tea/ coffee etcetera, served in a conservatory. Bedroom quite large with enough easy chairs etcetera

Bathroom/shower felt rather short of safe facilities for the infirm (I need a walking stick) The large shower was a self-contained wet "room" but without grab rails or soap dish and got very wet needing extreme caution on my part. Telephone line was down when paying (not Westwinds fault) necessitating some inconvenience.

Nice light room, cleaning ok, nice staff, good location. Good value for money for one night, just try not to get room nr 1.

Breakfast wasnt that great, no wifi, plus we got the room right next to the door. People walking in and out all the time. We had one big window in the room but had to have the blinds down to get privacy as the window was right next to the door and people were standing outside our window talking.

The room was plenty spacious. The breakfast was always fresh and quickly served to your table. It was just a 10 minute walk from the city centre, and quiet enough to sleep soundly.
