Lovely room. Lovely breakfast. Found the bar area smelly - smokey even. Chose not to eat in the bar because of smell.

The price of our stay was good value for money. Rooms were cold during our stay and we had to ask for a heater first time this has happened in a hotel we have stayed in, no seperate shower also, had dinner the first night of our stay was very poor, hotel in general was not a 4 star hotel in my opinion.

It is a lovely hotel, small and friendly. There was a sewage smell in the bar on two nights of our three night stay. When we inquired of the bar staff where the smell was coming from we were informed that it was coming from the drains.

It was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good and it wasn't overly crowded. The shower wasn't brilliant as there was air in the pipe or something. Also the room was very warm.

It's location The staff very helpful and friendly Ease of parking The hotel itself was clean and tidy but it looked and felt tired and the West wood Bar had no atmosphere and in our opinion bad lighting. The public area's just need a simple uplift such as fresh vases of flowers in the reception / front lobby would just give it that little lift that's rerquired

breakfast food a little bland and tasteless could be more appetizing to reflect hotel pricing as shopping centre franklins was much better and cheaper.

Modern clean rooms. Very good b&b breakfest. Close to Galway City and Connemara. Nice bar and restaurant. Many functions and weddings which can make the hotel a bit noisey and make it hard to find parking.

I found the staff extremely friendly. The hotel old world and very nice. The food was excellent. I would certainly return. As it was winter time I found the location a bit too far from the city centre.

The store room was above my room and both mornings loud banging woke me up. My room actually shook with the noise. The receptionist did offer to change the room. I think the staff need to be aware of the volume of the noise for the room below.

Its a quiet small homely hotel and location is very good. Also like that the bar area is separate from reception area. The only negative was the unpleasant smell particularly in lift and not so fresh towels. However I like hotel and would stay again
