The Receptionist was extremely helpful and Friendly they offered breakfast to us in our room location excellent room very spacious funny smell in hall upstairs but hotel room perfect bar perfect and once again the bar food was excellent towels were late that was disappointing but overall the hotel was good smell in hall upstairs |

Staff were very pleasant and accommodating, room was ideal. Stayed here for an event in the inec and location was great - would definitely stay here again. |

I liked the peace and quiet of the hotel, staff excellent and food superb but was rather disappointed with room 206, on sunday night august 30 due to the heavy rainfall and wind the fire alarm kept going off at 3am, nobodys fault but I would have thought an apology the following morning would be appropriate or an explanation??? I was extremely disappointed to discover at around 4am, I kept hearing a drop as if it were raining outside my window and when I evebtually investigated I discovered at the end of my bed the carpet was very wet and a large triangular size split on the celieng and the rain coming through, quiet frank I thought the ceiling was coming down, I had to call the porter at 5am which very embarrysing and had to be moved to room 207 which was an ordeal, the room was very cold, no heating at any stage and no tea making facilities available, having been to the hotel on previous occasions I saw a marked disimprovement. |

plesent environment, very nice room and services, helpful staff, whatever you ask you will get, we realy enjoyed our stay if you get the room on top of bar it will be quite noisey, and make sure you check with the staff that heating is inorder in your room before you get the keys |

my room was drab and dirty - disgusting and stank of cigarrette smoke. I asked to be moved and was told there was one other room available but it was smelly! vile and disgusting - should not be listed as a hotel - it was more like a grotty bedsit. |

Although a 7 minute walk from the centre of town, the hotel offered a surprising degree of comfort. The rooms/bathrooms were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus and the bar attached offered an array of good size meals. |

Hotel is a bit outdated could do with a makeover.Breakfast and bar food in the hotel bar is very good.The staff are very friendly. The rooms and hotel area in general could do with being updated. |

Very close to town centre, good parking facilities, very helpful staff at reception and in the hotel bar, eficient check-in and check-out.Great value rates. Breakfast staff were disinterested, inefficient, and unpleasant (when we were leaving breakfast one of the staff was lying out on a couch outside the dining room!). However the breakfast food was very good. |

My room was over the bar and there was live music on the night that I stayed until 1:30am. I had an early start the next morning and was very tired all day as I didn't get to sleep until after 2:00am. I would stay there again but in a different room! |
