The pub in the hotel has a good atmosphere and helpful staff. The hotel room we stayed in was very very basic, the furniture and carpets are 1970's, the bathroom was poor, this is not a one star hotel. It is a budget hotel and should be booked with this in mind. The bedding was clean. |

close to center of the city. pub open until late. good full Irish Breakfast. The staff is absolutely nice but the hotel needs to be refurbished or cleant a bit more... though bed linens were clean. |

Don't expect the Ritz but Ideally situated for Cork, staff very friendly and helpful. Good pub atmosphere. Excellent Irish Breakfast Bedrooms need upgrading |

This place (you wouldn't call it 'hotel') is quite close to any hot spot in Cork, that's it.The pub and breakfast were good, but they lacked personnel in the morning and the poor cook and the girl serving the orders couldn't do any better and we hanged there for about 45m to get our food. The room had a small fridge, a nice surprise among all the disgusting facts in it. I don't have any complaint about the staff, who was kind to us. If I were charged at least 20 euros less for this, I would probably not complain so bitterly, but even though, cleanliness is a must no matter the price. The carpet all over the room needed urgent and exhaustive hoovering, especially between bed and window. They have to renew furniture,it looked like got from a flea market, including the bed.I didn't dare to have a look at the matress and pillows, sheets were clean so I'd rather leave it there. Shower plate clogged up and you wouldn't dare to pull out the toilet brush from its place.The pub was nice, but we went there for the accommodation and what you always expect is cleanliness,that is the least!I have stayed in cheap hostels that were far better than this place that charged me 59 euro for a night.Besides,if you have big baggage but want to be far from the pub noise, get ready to literally climb those carpeted narrow stairs like a sherpa. |

Location was perfect - hotel basic but very friendly staff and the LV bar was excellent. Fantastic breakfast. No apart from the stairs to the room but we needed the exercise anyway to work off the breakfast! |

It's near from the city centre We couldn't close the window, we hadn't any towels and it was very loud, because we heard the music of the pub below until 3 o'clock a.m. |

The Windsor Inn is fantastic. Met a really nice bunch of people, the lv bar is fantastic, the rooms are functional and nice, containing everything you need to have the craic in Cork, a fridge, kettle. Even a spare bed! Overall I'd highly recommend a stay here and I hope the prices don't increase, as this is my second stay here! Breakfast is amazing too! Also very intimate feel and you'll get to know all the employees pretty quick! |

The bed was comfortable-that's about as much as I can say in praise of the place. What didn't we like? Well, where do I start? This b&b is very run down, the room we stayed in was extremely tatty. Dirty carpets, broken windows- there was even a toilet roll propping open the window in the (grotty) toilet. Safety standards leave a lot to be desired-we were staying in a 'family room' & there were no safety catches on the ancient sash type windows and they could be opened fully - easily wide enough for a child to fall out. There was even one of the single beds by one of these windows. Absolute disgrace. Don't Health&Safety check these places? Though we paid for breakfast we decided against it when we saw that the Hygiene Award cert displayed on the wall was dated 2008. Horrible place & we will not be back. |

Loved staying at the Windsor inn the rooms are basic but the beds are clean and comfortable. Having the pub on site with live bands every night was absolutely brilliant you dont even need to leave the hotel. The staff are very friendly everyone one makes you feel so welcome and the location couldn't be better. If your looking for 5 star this is not for you but if your looking to have a great weekend on a budget I cant praise the Windsor Inn enough. great craic!!!!! |

The hotel is great! All the attention to details, very good location. The bed was very comfortable and the room was perfect. The staff is awesome and the pub bellow has great music lovely people! I will be back! |

Pro: Good location, close to train station and city. Cons: Very Loud, very hot, had to open windows to cool down, was on to busy street, smelly halls, pub directly beneath, Did not sleep well, skipped breakfast. |

I liked the location and decor and as I stayed at The Windsor Hotel back in the Seventies/Eighties I liked the nostalgic Corkonian feel of the place. Perhaps there could be more attention paid to providing customers with a breakfast menu and a healthy choice between the standard Irish breakfast (fry) and cold meats/fried fish. |

Good location, good value for money, staff friendly, when tv didnt work they went out of their way to sort the problem Room was dirty but bed linen was clean, carpet had not been hoovered in an age and very grubby |

All staff were really ffriendly and made us feel really welcome. They were happy to help with any problems and were great company in the LV bar!!! Will be using this accomodation for our next visit to Cork :) |
