The Hotel was very convenitent to the city centre & the bus station - which we were using for getting about. Not the hotels fault but Saturday night - noise from outside work us up about 3 times - no double glazing .. |

Breakfast was very good, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The staff were friendly. The price was reasonable. We were awoken early in the morning by loud traffic noise, especially as the window did not shut properly. The room was rather shabby, but we wouldn't have minded that if it had been clean. The bed was made up each day but the floor, bathroom and toilet were not cleaned at all in the 3 days we were there. |

nothing, i left almost immediately due to the state of the accomodation, even after viewing a second room. everything, the room was in a bad condition, with a padlocked door from our room to the streetside, another bolted door led from the same room to a staff office. i requested another room which was also in bad state of repair and the window to roof garden didnt lock, we were afraid to stay here and requested our money back as we were not staying the night. I was refused my money back by a very rude and ignorant man. the following day following a phonecall to Citizens info and the Consumer Rights Bureau, i was told i was entitled to a refund. I returned to the hotel and spoke to same man, letting him know i was entitled to it and could take a case with small claims court, and i recieved my money back!!! (we booked into a fantastic hotel on same street (issacs) for just 10 euro more on leaving this dive) |

Enjoyed the friendliness the staff provided. We arrived at 1 in the morning and were received with a smiling face as if we had arrived during the day. The stay got even better with the breakfast that we had to start off our day. Great price and facility for the money. |

The staff was extremely polite and helpful and served an excellent breakfast quickly. (Good "full veggie irish" for vegetarians, too.) The room was certainly sufficient, even cozy, with nice wallpaper and a live plant. It included towels, tea and cookies. The only unfortunate thing about this hotel was that during the warm, sunny weather that we enjoyed during our time in Cork, the room was a uncomfortably hot to sleep in. It's rather frustrating not having the option of just a sheet to sleep under, too (just one big comforter.) |

Staff were very friendly and the hotel had a very homely feel. I needed to leave a bag at reception and that was no problem. The door bang shut which woke me up. It was especailly annoying at 3am and I'm sure when I got up at 7am it annoyed somebody else. |

Light, space, comfort, quietness, swimming, running, breakfast, sleep..... A fantastic hotel.Very expensive at bank holiday weekend. We got a rate of €155 B&B per room per night. Would have loved to stay three nights, but there was no deal for this. |

The public lounge was very nice 1. No hot water available at the wash hand basin in the room. Both taps were marked "hot" but both gave cold water only 2. No curtains on the windows in the bathroom 3. No net curtains on the bedroom window (for both points 2 and 3 neighbours could look directly in) 4. On the last night there was no hot water from the shower 5. |
