Location..ONLY Good thing! This bed and breakfast is very run down, our room was terrible. Filthy, had not been cleaned properly in ages...bed sheets were dirty. Breakfast was not nice, Irish breakfast was like a child's portion, tea/coffee facilities were cold. Twice Staff entered our room without knocking, not acceptable. Finally Checkout was a disaster! We had paid for this room the day we booked it. It was nonrefundable. On our way out we were told we had not paid for our room. I tried to explain that we had but she was having none of it. Had to wait an hour for it to be sorted, and even then she still didn't believe us. Do not stay at this 'b&b'!!!

Staying at the windsor was the worst experience I have ever had,i hated it and would absolutely not recommend anyone to stay there. I can honestly say the windsor is truly appalling. It should not be classsified as a hotel because it is not.It is filty and dangerous.the beds are disgusting the carpets are vile,i just want to forget about the whole nasty experience our weekend was absolutely ruined.

I'm sorry to say that i cant say one good thing about this hotel. Where do i start. My girlfriend and i stayed here for one night and it was the worst place we have ever stayed. For 59 euros it was like a nightmare visit and all i can think to do is list the problems. How Ryanair recomend this hotel is beyond me. When we arrived the Bar man was friendly and welcoming but all went down hill from there.Room wasnt ready and dirty, toilet seat discusting, shower fell apart, bed dipped in middle, burn holes in bedding, breakfast took 45 minutes, morning staff rude, cuttlery filthy, had to pay in cash card machine wasnt working, we couldnt wait to leave. basically no one has put any effort into this place for many many years.

The beds were really comfy and there was a nice fry up in the morning (although what you got changed daily?!). The pub beneath the pub had good Irish live music on every night we were there, but the clientelle were not very friendly to start off with, although did become more so after we went in a couple of times. The hotel is close to the centre of the city and the bus station. This place should definitely be described as a hostel and not a hotel, it's definitely a place for the young and for backpackers. The room was really dirty, bathroom had hair in it, floors not vacumed, stains all over the furniture and no kettle. When I tried to check out of my room, the member of staff just told me that he had already taken the money from my account (didn't tell me how much) and gave me no recepit, I was so shocked I didn't say anything but felt really uneasy about it afterwards.

the hotel was not as advertised , it was dirty and tacky and not worth the money, our bathroom did not even have a plug in the sink, the pictures in the hallway as on the web site no way reflected the room, cups and plates at the breakfast were dirty , and the staff were unhelpful, the room kettle was a travel kettel and was unsafe, to be blunt it was a dump and spoilt our weekend

The staff were lovely, the breakfast was very tasty. The bed was comfortable and clean. Could'nt book in until 2pm!!! The shower came out in a trickle, and I could'nt get it to come out warm - it was freezing cold water! - so I ended up just having a wash down with a flannel.

Basic, but clean, value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room on top floor, lots of stairs. We had 3 rooms booked and none had a TV that worked/showed more than 1 channel.

The rate and location were ok and there was a pub downstairs with live music. The carpet in the room was disgusting and should really be changed-- unfortunately it makes the room kind of unappealing even though the sheets/towels/bathrooms were clean.

It was central and located above a pub which had traditional irish music in it so no need to venture far. Breakfast in morning was adequate too. The hotel itself looked a bit run down from the outside. The interior needs updated and decorated however the bed and toilet were clean which is the main thing for me.

The staff were excellent and very helpfull and the food was good. The place really needs a makeover. It was quite dirty and is more of a hostal than a hotel.

I arrived to find out I had no ensuite room available and had to walk down 4 flights of stairs and back up another 3 to get to a toilet. There was no sink in the toilet. The shower next door was luke warm. The window in the shower room was wide open and too high for me to reach. The bedroom itself had a broken window and could hear traffic very clearly. Wallpaper was ripped in places, carpet - not very clean and I did not feel safe. I explained I had an early start and would be leaving before 7.30. Was told a continental breakfast would be available in the bar. The bar was locked when I arrived at 7.10am. The room was initially priced as having being reduced to €36 and I got it then for €18. It was €18 too much which I paid when I arrived. Would never go back!!!

The price was reasonable. It was close to buseirann station. It was close to the city centre. If you want to have a proper irish breakfast in Windsor Inn Cork. You need to pay more money.I was quite surprised about that.Because,it is not the case in other bnb and hotels where I stayed in the past in Ireland. During my stay,I got a room which face the main road. And,it was quite noisy.I was awake early (6am) in the morning because of the noise of vehicles on the road. Besides, the room is not cleaned daily. This is not the case in other bnb and hotels where I stayed in the past in Ireland.I would not go there again nor i would recommend Windsor Inn Cork to my friends.

The staff were extremely friendly and approachable. Breakfast was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Generously sized en suite. The room was cosy and spacious. No major issues, just small things such as the kettle in the room did not work and the wifi was quite weak, plus couldn't figure out the tv (no remote). These aren't really necessary though, and I was extremely comfortable for the price I paid.

We enjoyed the ambience and atmosphere in the bar, live music every evening, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and proximity to the centre of Cork. The staff made us very welcome and treated us like regulars. Would be better if a lift was installed and the shower needed some attention!!
