the ramada was a nice hotel however food on restaurant menu was ridiculous had to eat in the bar. the bar food was lovely however we were eating in the lobby which also was the bar and the reception. could do with a facelift on the outside and a cleaning of the windows. the was a terrible smell of smoke in our room also however the room was nice and big

The ladies at the reception were very nice and accomodating. My daughter forgot her handbag near the reception area after we checked out and they kept it for us...we picked it up the following day. We're very grateful for that. I had a very short stay at the hotel...but it was comfortable. My daughter and I slept well. The location is a little bit inconvenient if you don't have a car to go around.

There was no customer service at all. If you rang for room service nobody picked up the phone. I had to go to reception to pick up towels myself. Had to wait 10minutes before anybody appeared. When I asked about my receipt from the guy who handed the towels to me and was also covering reception, I was horrified when he said he did not know anything at all about the hotel systems since he was only covering for a friend who could not work that night. He said he will leave a note for the girl coming in the morning to give me a receipt. I never got any...not even on check out. I had paid cash on arrival hence why I was looking some form of acknowledgement for this cash. True to my fears, I was being asked to pay for my breakfast on check out yet I had paid for ths already. The rooms were stuffy and small. I had asked if I could go their other hotel at the sea front and was told the manager would be informed of this and would facilitate the move! No manager spoke to me. There were no teaspoons in the dining room on Sat at breakfast. I understand all hotel are being environmentally but I think there is a happy medium without removing a bit of luxury for clients. The towels were worn out! There was a constant dribble of water in the bathroom making it harder to sleep. For instance there were no shower caps and asked for this but was told there were none. I think I have to stick with Crown Plaza were quality is guaranteed. The only reason I had stayed at Ramada was that Crown Plaza was too far (Dublin). However I now know not to ever return to Ramada again. I can't believe they charge so much for such appalling rooms and no service at all. I would actually like to lodge a complaint as I feel I had such a horrible experience!

Its location, convenience, very friendly and helpful staff, especially lady on reception duty. Its family room was very suitable with sufficient room not to feel squashed. Trying to find the hotel in the dark.

It was a welcome break from the city. The countryside around us away from all the noise of the city. The staff were lovely. All in all lovely place to stay and relax away from city life. Room was a bit cold and we were expecting a few leaflets in the room about things to do in the surrounding areas.

Rooms are good, the staff are nice. The bar area and the bar meals are wery nice. Bar was closed for maintenance and no wine or other drink could be bought in bar. Some temporary solution sholud have been made for this, The nice bar and the nice bar meals are the main reasons for us staiing at the Ramada when visiting family inn Bray
