Excellent hospitality; wonderfully helpful reception desk; friendly and courteous staff; generous with time; willingness to go extra mile to make stay enjoyable by attending to small requests; open fire; relaxed atmosphere; no hesitation in recommending hotel to family and friends!

Nothing that bothered me, but a few little things that might bother somebody else - wasp on bathroom floor, radiator not working in bedroom so temperature in room a little cold, no stopper in sink in bathroom. Value for money and friendly welcome more than made up for any reservations.

Great location, only a short drive to the Aiwee Caves, Cliffs of Maher, Doolin, Lahinch and anywhere in North Clare. Food was gorgeous, especially the indian cuisine. Nice big clean bedroom, staff were very friendly. Good leisure facilities.Very good value for money. A lovely relaxing 2 nights and we'll definitely go back again.

The hotel was cold on the mid week days we were there. Even the bar.

It was not warm enough, none of the fires lighting on a cold wet november weekend. The reception area smelt of chlorine from the swimming pool. the food was really horrible, had dinner and breakfast. For dinner, I needed a steak knife to cut the meat from my Lamb shank. This meat is usually tender and falls from the bone. My venison tart starter had a sweet shotcrust pastry base which was hard. Tiramisu dessert extremely diappointing, obviously not homemade. The Indian and continental mixed menu might work if either was done well but maybe concentrating on one or the other and getting something right might be better. Porridge the next morning made with cream. Obviously a lie, porridge was grey with something green drizzled on top.

The staff were very nice. Location not to far from town.Resturant was fantastic.

(1)There was 8 big Blue Bottle Flyes flying around our room. (2) The duvet was old and Ripped. (3) My wife had to ring reception to ask for bulbes as 2 of the 4 lamps did not have any at all.

I loved the location of the hotel it was in a nice quiet area but not too far away from centre of ennis the staff were very friendly and helpful it was very clean and the hotel itself was beautiful I would recommend it to anyone

Carpet in room was very marked and could have been doing with being replaced or at least cleaned

The bed was very comfortable and it was nice we got a late check out as we had a late night.

I did not like the way the room was decorated, the breakfast was average, have had nicer and tastier.

The hotel was clean and tidy that's I wanted

The hotel was not "a short distance from town" 15 euros each way.
