The room was a bit cold.
Staff were very helpful and the room was clean with fantastic views.
The building is a bit dated. Leaks and rot can be seen in the hallways.
Staff and value for money
Only fault was with Booking.com. I thought I was booking bed and breakfast and found when I got there it was bed only. There was obviously a box I should have ticked but didnt see
The hotel is in the most beautiful location by the sea, wonderfully decorated, with lovely cosy comfortable sofas. My huge room had a nice sea view with very comfortable beds, nice and quiet by night. Good leisure centre with nice pool. The staff were nice.
Comfortable room. Well equipped gym, stunning location, nice and quiet by night.
A couple of spots in the hotel need a little TLC, but the room was very comfortable so not really an issue.
The hotel was set in a stunning location with a couple of good restaurants nearby and a very close drive to sligo centre for good shopping. The hotel was clean and had a lovely pool.
The hotel was mostly empty and the staff were quiet and less welcoming than other hotels that we stayed at during our trip. This combined with building work going on throughout the day on the ground floor made for a less than perfect stay which is sad as we had stayed here before and loved it so much that we returned, but the spark that the hotel once had has now gone.
The leisure facilities (swimming pool etc) friendly staff.family friendly.
Everyone went out of their way to make our stay special I can't wait to return
I liked the Leisure Centre
I thought we could have received a higher customer service, no-one asked if we were ok during our stay
Location of the hotel and the views from the room were great. The open log fire was a welcome treat when coming in from the rain!
There was no music in the lounge area whilst sitting and enjoying drinks and the open log fire and the staff were not particularly welcoming and fiendly throughout our stay.
A very nice location by the sea. My room had a nice sea view. Good food, friendly staff. Comfortable + spacious.
It would be really great if they could add a few internet kiosks.
Staff totally unfriendly Bar food disgusting Old rooms Old swimming pool
Food very poor
Very close proximity to the beach, large rooms with very comfortable beds
Very family orientated during public holidays - the leisure centre was very busy
The setting for the hotel was excellent. I imagine being there in summer would be beautiful. Relaxing and enjoyable. Local hourly bus to take you to Sligo
No negatives to add.
Location, location.. Reception and the welcome. Nice bar. Health club great.
The room was rather bland and cold. Temp fine just the decor and furnishings.
The hotel is amazing after staying there one night we are strongly thinking of having our wedding here. Staff are amazing so helpful
Dirty Breakfast very poor fried eggs didn't seem fried Service not welcoming. Off hand
Friendly staff, good location, nice surroundings.
Restaurant could do with an update
Stunning views of the water Quaint bar area Good sized bedrooms
Main dining room a bit dated but that's just being picky
Comfortable spacious room with a nice bar for a quiet pint, full breakfast the next morning was really tasty and the coffee was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming . Location was breathtaking and facilities excellent. Double room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a breathtaking view of the magnificent coastline and Islands. We had full use of the leisure centre which included a gym , sauna and swimming pol included in the reasonable mid week rate , however I would recommend that travellers check the timing of use of the facilities as there was swimming lessons on the afternoon of our stay which left only one lane of pool open and was off putting .
Breakfast was buffet style and whilst it was adequate it was lukewarm. Check in time was after 3.00 p. m which left no time to avail of the facilities of the Eros spa .
Really nice staff and very comfortable rooms
No pen in the room to complete the breakfast order! Only a very small point. Otherwise great place to stay
