Great location of hotel Staff friendly and helpful in the main Large bedroom Comfortable bed Nightly entertainment Reasonable priced meals and alcohol Swimming pool
-Small Jacuzzi -Aged decor in reception area, including carpet -No top sheets on beds and duvets way too warm, but too cool to 'throw off' without top sheet to replace -No safe in room -Wireless for internet connection didn't work -No facilities for third person sharing room i.e. bed, towels, teacup, toiletries -Hours waiting for 3rd bed for 3rd person sharing room -Cleaning staff attending related chores throughout the day e.g. vacuum cleaner being used outside lift door in the afternoon causing potential hazard on exiting lift -Staff member attributing my trip on mat at entrance door to how I entered hotel when I said this had happened twice before i.e. no empathy/apology! -Poor waiter service for bar food (long wait for wine, no bottle opener brought with wine resulting in waiter taking wine away to open this, didn't pour wine on return.
Liked location. Had a room overlooking bay and was able to watch sun coming up. Comfortable bed. Good choices for food. I ate in winery bar and the burger was excellent.
Excellent Staff, Great Value, Quirky touches, loads of towels, huge room
Room decor was a little dated - could do with being more like the female toilets off of reception!
I found the reception staff very unprofessional, chatting with details of running the front office while guests were present, unhelpful when asking for toothpaste and generally no 'please' or 'thank you' Not a good meet and greet atmosphere.
Location Hearty breakfast Good service
a nice well run hotel ,10 min car ride from sligo. great location next to seaside and golf links.stayed with kids for fleadh ceoil.we had food in hotel bar which was good.breakfast was ok nothing special. overall we had a goodstay
nothing much ,a bit far from town, rooms a bit dated
Good food ,room very good, view from room was excellent.
Bed was very small,
5 Stars for this hotel. The staff where helpful and friendly, the food was excellent, the room was large and comfortable and the atmosphere in the hotel was great.
The room was a little tired.
Location was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Spa was top notch with great massage and hairdressing very good.
Pool very hot for swimming and the sauna was not hot enough or not working. Steam room was also either not working or far to hot to stay in it for any length of time. Areas of hotel a little shabby and needs refurbishment.
The staff were nice
The 70s decor. Small rooms Breakfast buffet was average. Had to Que, possibly my fault. Rooms need a fresh paint job. Bathroom dated. Shower weak.
Location was nice
Single beds put together to make a double, can hear next door room chatting clearly, old fashioned expensive for what it was, not a great breakfast very standard.
Where do I begin? Everything was first class, from the reception staff, waiting staff, the girls who looked after the rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and have every intention of coming back around Christmas. The hotel gets a big 10 from us.
We have nothing negative to say.
Location was super.
Rooms were very tired and in need of updating and beds were uncomfortable with not enough pillows as in one per person. Sofa bed was awful and had cushions instead of pillows. Really uncomfortable 2 nights sleep!!
Second trip to Yeats Country Hotel, food is gorgeous, Bar and Waiting staff excellent. Try there Strawberry Daiquiri and you'll see. Eros Spa is fantastic. Seaweed Bath was so relaxing. Recommend Denise for Geleration Manicures and so well priced. Cheaper than up home. Not to mention so close to shopping days in Sligo, which is a must!
NOTHING! I love this hotel. Anyone who gives it a bad review needs there head checked!!!
Nice walks around the hotel and down near the beach. Really nice place to relax and take it easy.
spa facilities are a disaster - no steam room available , very poor heat in sauna, & very small jacussi
Staff were very helpful, very patient with customers, even when very busy, breakfast was the best I ever had anywhere, evening meal was lovely also.
The front lobby could do with a bit of a makeover, it does not represent the hotel, a new carpet and a spot of paint would make it more appealing upon arrival, first impressions etc.. ..though in this case first impressions do not mirror the wonderful experience we had..
The location is just breath taking and i will 100% return.
The Buffet Breakfast could of been better.
The food was nice and the staff in the dining room were very nice.
Double room we were sent to on arrival was of poor quality for the price, After complaining we were offered a much better room.
The welcome you got when you arrived at reception for checking in and checking out after that every thing ran smoothly with the help of the staff would stay there again
The food was amazing as always. Staff all very friendly.
Room was on ground floor.
Bed was comfy and the surrounding views where nice.
Where do I start.... Reception area was filthy upon arrival, butter on the carpet and old comb on the floor oh and a food cart just abandoned by elevator.went for meal in hotel bar staff hadn't even cleaned our table by time food arrived and our bathroom sink leaked all over floor. Reception lady was gracious to drop €20 off bill but even so I won't be back or recommending to friends.
Rosses point is idyllic, and Yeats hotel doesn't disappoint alongside it. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, and good leisure facilities. A lovely Chinese restaurant next door too for late night eaters, and an adorable pub Austies across the way! The full package overall. Would love to go back.
