Friendly staff, helpful and prompt. Zetland probably don't get many single visitors. The bedroom had a view out the back to a dirty side wall, the tv didn't work and the lukewarm, ancient radiator made for a chilly room. The food was good, but overpriced, and the main course on both evenings arrived just less than hot. |

The service at Zetland was superb--very warm and friendly staff, who went out of their way to make us comfortable. We also loved the food served in the dining room -- dinners and breakfasts were delicious. We were traveling with young kids, and they made it very easy for us. Felt like the kids were very welcome, although there mostly couples in residence. We really enjoyed our stay! |

Pretty much everything. If what you want is quiet time away from the noise, and rest, with nice food, nice wine and helpful staff, this is the place to go. We did no use their service to arrange sporting activities nearby. |

The location especially the restaurant. The overall atmosphere and comfort. The food in the restaurant. The bathroom needed attention. Some of the hotel was beginning to look a little tired. I understand the new owners have a refurbishment plan about to begin. |

The Ardagh is situated on the edge of the scenic Connemara. All rooms are individually decorated and some overlook the bay. |
In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of Clifden town centre. |
