“ Wonderful staff that takes pride in the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Especially liked the egg/tomato sauce dish. Had not had anything like it before. Very good wifi. The location is very good, and importantly, it is easy to find one's way back to it! ”

Staff were great-- very helpful. The quality of the build of this place is magnificent--- attention paid to every detail. Location that made it a great stay also made it difficult to find.

The building is beautiful and far from common. The personel is friendly and helpful. We where tired and wanted to sleep early. Outside there was a noisy wedding party. Without any problem we could change the room to an other side of the building were we slept very well. It is value for money but still i think the price is high.

Excellent location to visit Akko, the old city area. Wonderful parking. the hotel building was unique as it is built into the old city walls and the renovation has preserved the uniqueness of this while providing all the necessities you need while traveling. Lighting was a bit poor for reading in bed.

The hotel is very nice and in a great location I think hotel is a little overly priced. Basic cost is confusing since it is only for one person sleeping even in a queen room. I had to pay an extra $40 for my wife to stay in the room. If I had known this I would not have booked a room.

The owners and the staff were very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast is delicious. The old and renovated building is beautiful. And it is located very close to all places of interest in Akko. The terrasse-roof is also splendid : just sit there and enjoy the view of the bay, or of the city. Perhaps the lack of modern leisure, such as spa ? But it did not hamper our pleasure at being there.

Amazing!!! Unique!! Location, location!!!! I cannot say enough nice things about this friendly, family owned hotel. It is literally part of the old wall in a historic site. It took the families five years to renovate and the attention to detail is apparent everywhere . The rooms are beautiful and clean and equipped with everything. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Location --- What could be better than staying right in the old city of Akko . All the sites and restaurants are in walking distance, so you don't have to worry about cars or taxis. So if your in Akko, and you shouldn't miss this city, treat yourself to this hotel, it is part of the unique atmosphere of Akko.

We were pleasantly greeted by having a parking spot taped off in front of the hotel for us in a very busy area. The front desk person was professional and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is excellent. Overall a good experience at this hotel. Internet access from the room was poor as I assume the problem is due router location (s) and the stone building. Worked downstairs near front desk.

Beautiful hotel, very nice location. Very friendly stuff trying to help with any question or issue. We stayed in 4 other hotels in Israel, and this one is absolutely the best. All facilities are updated, very clean. We were worried about parking in old city, turned out to be a non-issue. Hotel stuff helped us to park, and made sure our car was safe and close.

We spent a weekend in Akkotel. For a very reasonable price we got a large awesome room with beautiful bathroom and a small kitchenette. The whole building is unique: thick ancient walls with arches everywhere, spacious corridors and first class wooden decoration. The service was perfect, very warm and friendly. Nothing was missing throughout the whole stay including free parking right at the front door. The breakfast was quiet a rich buffet: many kinds of cheese, eggs, fish ( incl. salmon), hummus, sausage, about 5-7 delicate salads, (very tasty! ) , some drinks, some cakes and sweets. I realy love this hotel.

Nice owners in a great town and good location with parking in front of the door and free wifi. Acceptable price compared to other and the second best hotel in Akko. A dark room with small windows. They can not help it because it is build in the old city wall and it's a Unesco town. A bit outdated taste of brown furniture. If they would paint everything white inside with a twist of modern and exploited the restaurant it could be very good.

Very nice hotel located in the historical center of Akko, actually it's build inside the city walls, which attributes a special atmosphere to the hotel design. We had a nice two-floor room with stone walls and with comfortable medieval-style bed. The wifi in the rooms doesn't work. (only in the lobby) There is not much light in the room (which is nice if you want a romantic/ medieval atmosphere, but it terrible if you would like to read a little before going to bed) The windows go to the road, so sometimes during the night (we stayed on saturday) we were waken up with the sound of the cars passing with loud music.
