The staff at Al Mutran were amazing they made us feel so welcome and were so kind and helpful, offering us fresh mint tea and Turkish coffee when we arrived, the room was great, we slept well, breakfast was good, they even made us omletes, loved the location, the people of the old city are wonderfully kind, beautiful jewelry in the gift shop attached to guesthouse, the staff recommended the restaurant sudfeh for dinner it is amazing!!! The food was wonderful and the building just stunning. Loved our time in Nazareth!!!!! A fantastic place to stay, feels like the real Nazareth, not tourist Nazareth, would definately stay again.

Staff very friendly and good breakfast I reserved "double room deluxe" (which means more than 100 euros). When I arrived and they showed me the room I got shock. It was a cave, humid, without windows, close to the street, really noisy, because it was also close to the kitchen where they prepare breakfast. The bed was big but the cover wasn´t enough large for two people. I would recommend you ask before which room are they going to offer you, because it´s tricky

Very impressive room. Helpful owner. My ground floor room had no windows, just a door leading directly onto the square. Noisy early morning.

Owned by Palestinian Christians who were charming and most helpful. Interesting that Jewish Israelis are welcome clients. Excellent breakfast, I asked for 4 fried eggs and got them, beautifully cooked. Emile and Sally are excellent hosts. Recommend. The superior room had a potentially beautiful view across Nazareth but the slatted wooden shutters only gave light and no view, they were closed with screws. On my next visit I shall take a screwdriver and screw them down again when I leave.

I've been wanting to stay at Al Mutran for ages and wasn't disappointed. The old building is beautiful and well-preserved, the rooms are simple but very nice (don't expect luxury if that's what you're used to, but lots of charm and character - plus a great shower). It has a very personal feel as Emil checks you in, helps with your bags, makes breakfast, cleans up, and even opens the gift shop down the street! He's great. The location is perfect for exploring Nazareth and easy to find if you follow their directions. Breakfast is very good. The parking situation is a little harrowing...

This is an old Arab mansion with multiple floors, furnished with antiques, colorful throws, and local art. It's really beautiful, and the staff are so welcoming, gracious and helpful. Really good breakfast, excellent wifi reception, and close to every site we wanted to visit. We hesistated to stay in this location because of issues with traffic, difficulty driving in Nazareth, etc., but we are so glad we did. We would happlily stay here again! Finding the hotel is difficult if you don't know Nazareth -- however, staff are very helpful, and in our case, someone came out to find us and ride to the hotel with us. Bathroom is small.

Fantastic beautiful hotel in the old city of Nazareth. Al Mutran guest house is a pearl not to be missed. The staff that runs the hotel is very kind and friendly. The rooms, the brekfast, everything is exquisite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that travels to Israel and wishes to spend some time in the Galilea. It is worth it. Sally and Bilal will make you feel at home and will take care of you as if you were a family friend. Wonderful!

Apart from the beautiful decoration with incredible artifacts, lively yet peaceful atmosphere, and great location, the best part of the this hotel was definitely Emil- the all in one concierge, receptionist, and breakfast maker. He is Al Mutran Guest house. With his incredibly friendly, generous, vibrant, sweet and helpful personality, he made my mothers and my stay the best it could have been. He will take care of you and make sure you feel well and at home. His mint omlettes are the best! We miss him already!
