The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful especially Marcelo
Good for the beach Close to the port Great staff
A bit far from the city and cool side of town
Everything about the hotel
The hotel is in a good location, close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The suite is spacious and clean.
The only thing that the hotel could improve it would be the bathroom. The shower curtains could be replaced by glass. It would become more sophisticated.
The rooms and the location. The front desk manager was a great help and sorted out an issue we had.
Breakfast staff were miserable.
This hotel so expensive and the reception girl so rude and impolite. She didn't serve us, because when we like to check in she didn't deal with us she always just speaking at phone with others. We booked the junior room, but she told us that the hotel's haven't got junior rooms with sea view. They have only view with building operation. With all spead we left the hotel, and search a new.
Bed was very comfortable. Staff is excellent and extremely friendly and helpful.
The location is excellent. It's located on a side street and you need only to cross over the narrow one way street to be on the beach and the promenade. It's remarkably quiet and the constant traffic is not a problem at all. The staff is very kind and very helpful, housekeeping is early morning and very through. The hotel is more of a business class hotel and is very professional.
The rooms are not as listed. The junior suits did not have private balconies nor did my suit have a separate seating area. Not sure the hotel is aware that the hotel is listed to have these features. The restaurant is a pleasant outdoor seating area but the menu is limited and the food was bland and I don't recommend eatting there. Also parking is limited and is NOT included be prepared to pay $30.00 US a day and you will want to alert them ahead of time if you will require one. However due to their location there are countless dining options within a 10 to 15 minutes walk in almost any direction.
The location and the manager was very helpful
The room option on bookings.com said sea view. There is a slight view of the sea. The breakfast was average and we didn't find the room clean, the hotel is expensive for what it is.
Helpful doorman. Clean, spacious, cool design. Nice coffee machine (nespresso). location next to beach and lovely beach!
Having to pay 18 NIS each time for room service. Car parking under hotel cramped and dirty. entrance into hotel from carpark through loading area/storage. No proper food/meals available during shabat (Friday afternoon until Sat evening). AC was impossible to completely switch off (set around 17C) and froze a bit at night despite it being summer. Few plates, scant cutlery and no cooking facilities - bsr microwave
Had a wonderful stay and a great room thanks to Selim, the Front Office Manager who was wonderful and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Most of the staff great. Our suite was spacious and nicely decorated. Hotel is next to the beach and port – wonderful location.
The 7th floor breakfast location is wonderful with a view over the city and sea...but staff not very friendly or helpful.
staff was very nice but the bar people when we were there were not experienced or very knowledgeable. They were not the regulars so it was understandable. Other than having to teach the bartender to make a drink and open a wine bottle we loved our stay there and would certainly recommend to others
Location was great . People were friendly . Lobby bar looked great but closed so early .
They asked for half of original stay for after Shabbat check out. I can't help I observe . Also nothing offered over Shabbat. Drink , biscuit ect. The photos on the website are different to what you get . When you read the discription of the hotel it sounds like there is a pool . No pool.
Great room comfort. Good location very good breakfast.
Disappointed to find no pool available to normal suites.
the rooms are nicely renovated
elevator and reception areas are dark. the charge for parking.
the location and the room.
the breakfast was the worst I've had at any hotel in my entire life. green scrambled eggs, no bacon, digestive juice, etc. order coffee took about 20 minutes summarized pitiful. staff at the front desk was not accommodating.
Reactivity of house cleaning staff
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Suite was spacious and comfortable. Bed a wee bit hard. Bathroom a bit small. Shower great. Breakfast was sumptuous/plentiful and the requested omelet was fluffy and presented beautifully. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the water was delightful. View from our room/balcony really nice. Would certainly recommend/stay again at the Alexander.
Breakfast and rooftop area were wonderful!
Very good location next to the beach and big rooms.
Staff unprofessional and not very polite. The whole hotel needs urgently a renovation.
We loved everything . The extra down quilt was an exceptional surprise .the outdoor seating area made it so much fun to grab pizza and enjoy it with our daughter who lives there we will only stay at the alexAnder when we return
It is a very clean convenient place to stay and the staff are extremely efficient and helpfull especially the manager Salem who went out of his way to make our stay in Isrial a memorable one. He spent hours assisting us with planing and booking hotels and countless tours for us and it all worked perfectly without even one mistake
Location was good.
The design is not very welcoming. The hotel is not very well maintained and the general feeling is more of a cheap motel.
