In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.

Great location to get to Qumran and Ein Gedi. Nice hikes possible from site itself. Closed and protected community, very safe and beautiful. Great breakfast, nice dining room. Nice decorated all around.
Bed were a bit hard, we both have not sleep with well! Bed sheet had some holes in tit - but not a big deal.
This is an excellent place if your purpose is to get away from the city. The facilities in the room are reasonable for the price. The majestic backdrop of the Judean mountains made the location a great hiking point. I arrived with a group of friends to hike the nearby desert trails. Most of my friends are happy with rooms. There is also much peace and quiet around the kibbutz
WIFI is only available in the reception area. I hope they can expand the coverage to cover the rest of the rooms in the future. There are limited restaurants around the kibbutz. Visitors should consider bringing their own supplies.
we took room for 2 adult and one child.the room is very small.the bad is trouble.the room not clean.toilet and shower is very small. looks for a there place.
Almog Kibbutz was exactly what we expected from the Booking.com site. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a nice balcony looking out on palm trees and mountains. It was extremely quiet and peaceful there, yet only a short drive to the Dead Sea.
Grounds/landscape outside of room need repair. Clutter and trash.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was bright and comfortable, with a little patio where we could enjoy relaxing in a quiet setting. For dinner, servers kept bringing plates of food--more than we could eat.
Had trouble finding the office to check in, but that's not a big deal.
10km to Dead Sea, Beautiful Chalet, Situated in an Oasis in the Middle of the Desert with Swimming Pool. Spacious Room. Quiet.
Spent New Years Eve there & people weren't really friendly. Paid around e35-e40 each for a basic meal although it was plentiful & nice.
Far from everything. You need to have a car to get there, and from there anywhere ;). Quite outdated already.
Nice oasis in the midst of a desert. Great facilities!
Too many other large groups. Pool hours are not good for those only staying one night.
Good location for going to the Dead Sea, petrol station nerby has some eating options. Wifi in the reception area, also at the terrace in front of it.
Didn't get explained where breakfast was served and at what time, had to ask and search for the building. Pool can get really busy with local families but otherwise it's a very welcome refreshment. There is fridge and kettle in the appartnment kitchen but nowhere around the Kibbutz to buy any groceries at all - the reception could sell some basic food items.
I needed a place to stay near the Dead Sea and this was it. I fell in love with this Kibbutz. The night sky views were amazing and so was the atmosphere. the rooms are awesome too. I am already looking to return!
The hotel was clean, the staff were courteous, and the hotel was close to En-gedi and Masada. It was only a short drive to a couple restaurants.
Although we had ordered a room with 3 twin beds were initially given a double bed and a single; another single bed was brought in at our request, however. $177 for a room with three beds for one night seemed a bit pricey.
Comfy bed, shower works fine and breakfast was surprisingly tasty and varied. Nice surroundings with gardens and palm trees. The windows had anti-mosquito nets, which was great.
Location is a problem: if you don't have a car it's really difficult to get around as it's in the middle of the desert. There are buses to Dead Sea area (South) or Jerusalem (North), but you need to walk 2 km to reach the junction where the bus stop is, which is not so handy in the night or if you are tired. There's no place nearby to buy water or something to eat - the closest shop is again in the junction and they take advantage of the isolated of the place to charge a fortune for anything. The staff at the reception are not extremely friendly (probably just their personality).
Ants and cockroaches in the room
Location is close to Jericho and the Dead Sea. The pool is also a big plus at this location at the edge of the desert.
The rooms, especially the bathrooms, could do with a bit of spruce up, but then again, everything was working but just looked a bit dated. But to be fair, the price to quality ratio is quite good compared to other places in the region.
Oasis in the middle of the desert, full of flowers and birds. Fantastic fresh air! The breakfast was amazing, huge choice and really delicious. The accomodation was very nice as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It is a bit isolated. You need to have a car to get anywhere. I do not recommend to wonder around the kibbutz at night as we met a couple of not very friendly dogs, though I think they were defending their private territory and no harm was done. Also, beware of moscitos at night. I recommend to do a moscito check before going to bed. We killed those that we found and had a good night sleep.
very poor condition of the garden, everything dry, nobody took care
The cottage was good with much space and clean.
the beds were too small and the matrasses hard. The breakfast was bad.
30 minutes from jerusalem, 15 minutes to northern dead sea
Reception was closed on arrival - around 9.30 pm - front desk is not 24 hour double beds requested - we got twin beds lots of mosquitos in the room, had to buy anti-mosquito repellant on a 30 minute drive at 10pm, as there are no shops selling it in the dead sea area swimming pool was closed, only open seasonal hotel booking form said we had the last room - not true, the place was virtually empty breakfast was poor, cold, bread was not fresh, orange juice was not fresh price of room was not correct
Almog Kibbutz has a homey feeling and nice amenities. We liked the quick drive to the Dead Sea facility. I'd love to return someday and stay longer.
I'd like to suggest that when it comes time for some refurbishments, that they replace the wood in the showers with some type of materials that's water resistant.
Great breakfast It was kind a village Cheap Quiet place
If you have no car, can be a problem to get there Staff didn't know almost nothing about sightseeing, hot to get there Internet wasn't working in the room, just in reseption
We had the standard (not renovated) rooms which were perfect for our needs. The kids could play outside on the grass. Just outside the kibbutz is a great hike and within a short distance one can visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found, and within less than 1 hr. one could see the Oasis of Ein Gedi or Masada and the great Dead Sea beaches are 15 minutes away. Jerusalem is about 30 minutes away. The place was cheap, which suited our needs. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (under 6) and a baby.
Since we got the cheaper rooms they were still not renovated, but again- suited our needs...
Good, location and facilities. Tasty breakfast. The staff very helpfull.
Very good breakfeast, friendly for children, unique quiet experience.
