Very good location in the centre of Jerusalem, about 10 min walk to the old city and Jaffa gate (entrance to the western wall and Temple Mount). Clean and nice room with good wifi, small balcony and a small kitchen (perfect if one wishes to make some own food)
Nothing to complain about
Noise on the street and in the hotel
Great location, walking distance from the Old City and Mahaneh Yehuda market; clean and big room, well equipped kitchen; helpful staff.
The bed was not comfortable; the air conditioner was very noisy and the street was very busy up to the very late night hours.
We lived in a private room with tv and toilet, it's a good point for us. And there is McDonald in front of the hotel, it really helped us on Saturday!
The balcony is not that clean. And the kettle was full of dirt.
Room opposite madonalds and very bright street lights with very light urtains. Was like daylight and couldn't sleep. Towels very thin and kitchen utensils very sparse.
Staff was very helpful, polite and professional. Room was very spacious.
Got there too late so couldn't find out the wifi password, and pillow was covered in someone else's hair.
value, location, size of room
Great customer service. Big thanks to all of the hotel staff as they were very friendly and helpful in accomodating us during this stay. Room was very spacious, especially in comparison to a lot of European hotels. An iron was provided to us upon request (iron is a rarity for a lot of hotels outside of US). Having a refrigerator, sink, and a stove was a great plus, as breakfast is not provided in this hotel.
The location is excellent for night life but also close to the center (10 min); it might seem a bit crowded at night because it is right in the party center but it has a very nice, lively vibe to it, and we didn't have any problems with noise in the room. The reception is not 24/7, but during the day there is somebody in an office and they are generally very helpful (not everybody was like that in Jerusalem). The rooms were clean and had everything we needed; it is very easy to cater for yourself and there is a homey vibe to it.
I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is looking for the standard hotel conditions (room service, breakfast, 24/7 assistance).
Good location, nice staff.
There was a rat in our room. So they moved us to another room. Neglected maintenance.
The rooms need renovation. And big problem with cleanliness - flies, ants. Just dirty, noisy hotel.
Staff attitude, you feel like they are doing you a favour TV doesn't work The shower door fell of its rail Wireless didn't work It seems like the toilet weren't cleaned before
Excellent location in terms of access to Ben Yehuda and the Old City. Good size comfortable apartment and very helpful staff. Very good value for money.
Location is great. Service was terrific. People are wonderful.
AC is very noisy. It pumps a cold air right in your face, you cannot regulate the temperature.
Great location, convenient to get in and out of the hostel. Very large room
Shower didn't close and main shower head was broken. Could be cleaner. Basic
Location downtown Jerusalem with walking distance to Old Town, Open market. Helpful staff. Bars, cafés, grocery stores just around the corner.
The kitchenette a little poorly equipped.
The Old city is in 10-15 min walking
Air conditioner didn't work. 300 shekels for 3-days parking near the hotel, but it's not a hotels problem, just FYI
It's really well located in the center of the city. Really close to the old city and reachable from the central bus station by bus and tram as well. Staff has been really friendly and helpfull to our requests.
Really poor wifi connection. Sometimes it didn't worked. It's a pity.
This is a no frills hotel, but for the money, this was a great deal. The room was a nice size, the A/C worked efficiently and quietly, the room was quite clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely come here again.
Nothing bad to say.
Location is great Price is right Lots of space Quiet
Shower was terrible Wifi was unreliable Kitchenette not very usable
It was a very convenient location. The price was fair for the quality received. The staff lady we met the next morning was knowledgeable and very helpful. Others were not as knowledgeable and it was more difficult to communicate with them.
This was an older hotel and the 7.9 rating is misleading. I think a more accurate rating would be a 5.0. We found our room moderitly clean. Floors were swept but not washed clean. Any dishes we used we felt the need to wash before using as they didn't appear to be washed squeakie clean. We arrived after the office had closed and were locked out until we stopped a man on the street and asked to use his cell phone to call the hotel number and get the code to unlock the door. They had sent us an e-mail with the code a couple days earlier, however, we had no means of receiving the e-mail as we had already been in Israel for 10 days.
Friendly and helpful staff. Sound insulation and double glazing cut down noise to an acceptable level in this busy and handy location
We had a good, large room with balcony and good wifi. There are cooking facilities in the room, as per its "apartment" designation. The apartments overlook the busy downtown shopping/eating district and is just off Ben Yehuda Street and we had a good balcony for people watching during the evening. A good place to come back and relax at after a long day in the crazy and exhausting religious theme park that is the Old City - from which it is just a 10 minute walk.
You need to switch on the hot water for showers (20 minutes warm up) which is a bit old fashioned, but not really a problem for us.
The hotel was near the old city
The room I was in had water dripping from the ceiling on to my bed during the night. In addition it was very noisy due to street noise.
