location cleanliness no deodorizers... able to inhale w/o choking front desk very cordial

The shower leaks into the rest of the bathroom, doesn't drain or return to shower... its ashamed that it is not fixed to keep the water in the shower.

The location. There are many restaurants and cafes around. The took care of my car, regarding the tickets that should be bought at 8:00. But the best is the lady of the reception, Dana. Pretty girl and very nice. One of the top ten of my trip to Israel.

This beautiful hotel in the German Colony was like being in your own mansion, as the staff totally took care of us, even driving us to the shopping center, making all phone calls for us, serving a fabulous breakfast on the cobbled patio each morning. The Arcadia Ba'Moshava is a real gem-gorgeous, immaculate, friendly, helpful to the extreme, and very comfortable rooms and great beds! You will love this hotel!

We loved everything about this hotel and will be back again! Thank you Debbie and the entire staff for making our stay in Jerusalem so cherished and memorable!

Excellent location, excellent staff, tasteful design.

Overpriced, smallish room, outdated facilities for such an establishment, inconvenient parking fee system (not the fault of the hotel, though).

    - nice / typical building - quiet - the garden - the balcony (overlooking the garden / the trees) - proximity of shops and restaurants - friendly personnel - free bicycles

    - No free parking (I got a ticket since I did not pay) - Local breakfast (i.e. salty)

Charming new boutique hotel - staff very pleasant and helpful. Room on the small side but very comfortable, decorated in a traditional style, in keeping with the period of the building.

Breakfast - it's Israeli or nothing! No choice of breads or cereal. One waiter running back and forth to the kitchen (across the forecourt of the hotel) with eggs, etc. is not efficient. No cutlery or extra plates available to help yourself - hot water on tap would have been useful - waited 10minutes to get hot water for a tea bag and then it arrived in a cup! If three tables turn up to breakfast at the same time, he can't cope alone.

Lovely room Helpful staff Awesome courtyard Fantastic balcony with open windows Eli and all very helpful. Nothing too much trouble re booking restaurants etc.

Further out than I would have liked from the Old City. Long walk and most taxis unable to find unless we directed with google maps. Able to buy a beer/cold drink after long day and missing happy hour which is a great idea but not if back after 6pm Breakfast was amazing fresh food but yogurt/cereal/more fresh fruit would have been ideal.

Lovely boutique hotel in the beautiful residential neighborhood of Katamon. The website doesn't do it justice! It seems to be new or completely renovated. Besides a lavish breakfast that you can have in the dining room or the lovely patio, they have free Happy Hour from 5-6 every day with wine and snacks. The rooms aren't that big, but they are new and some have sweet balconies to relax, or leave the doors open for lots of fresh breeze. All the managers are thoughtful, but Eli was the best. When I told him it was our anniversary, he immediately had a bottle of wine sent to our room. They were really gracious and I have already recommended Arcadia Ba'Moshava to my family in the area. I would definitely stay there again.

No parking lot and neighborhood parking is metered. However, they were happy to feed the meter for us while we were out for the day. One of the housekeepers entered our room mistakenly, after which the manager apologized and upgraded our room! How can you not love them?

Nothing bad to report if I was being really picky that they should replace the mineral water daily.

This enchanting hotel is in a lovely area of Jerusalem, just a block from a street of open-air restaurants and shops. The building itself is elegantly remodeled with beautiful antique tables in the lobby. The staff and management tried very hard to please. Special commendation goes to Dana at the front desk, who arranged for me to rent a wheel chair from Yad Sarah and to have it delivered to the hotel. Breakfast is also elegant, with a variety of wonderful salads and with very friendly waiters. The omelets are hot and tasty. A variety of lovely coffees are available. Happy Hour offers delicious cakes, along with vegetables and fruits, as well as a choice of very nice red or white wine.

Air conditioning issues in our room made our first night less than ideal. The management graciously offered us 50% of our rate for that night. Room cleaning on intermediate nights needs improvement; we had to ask the desk clerk for refills on soap and tissue, and we encountered a few small ants in our room.
