Surrounded by gardens, Kfar Maccabiah is in Tel Aviv's Metropolitan Area, close to both Ben Gurion and Sde Dov airports.
Score from 401 reviews Good
The Sadot Hotel is a beautiful design hotel in Be'er Ya'akov. A free one-way shuttle service is available from the hotel to Ben Gurion Airport, just a 15-minute drive away.

The hotel is close to Ben Gurion Airport. The front desk staff was courteous and helpfull.
The hotel is very nearly worn out; and I dare say that is why it seened only marginally clean.
Open door for fresh air
Position and surly reception staff
- near to Ben Gurion Airport (10-15 Min. by Taxi) - a very good Restaurant at the same Building (Check Point Charlie) - Tel Aviv City Center is about 15 min. by Train from the Airport
- no Fridge in the room
Unclean Dilapidated by neglect
The room was comfortable. Breakfast was OK. Perfect for a one night stay close to the airport.
Beds were quite comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
No plugs in the bathroom and no lights near the beds for reading.
Proximity to Airport c.a. 80ISK one way in taxi
Old a bit run down, nothing todo in the immediate vicinity. Pool was closed, aswell the outside bar
bad clean, not 3 km from airoport but 10 km. bad service. not stay at this hotel
The lady at the counter was nice and helpful. I saw they have a nice dining room where I didnt eat, and a nice terrace where I didnt stay, just had a look. The room size was nice. The state of the hotel was fine. 10mins by taxi to the airport, they have their own guy for a good n fair price (80shekel).
The pool was under maintenance I think until next summer, which was disappointing. I had no fridge. The beds were too short (Im 1.92cm) and also the showerhead was too low - the ceiling in the bath was júst high enough so not yet disturbing. I think it is fairly overpriced to pay €111 for one night with these conditions.
the room was spacious -- as we had shared with 3.
view from our room -- unslightly--- swimming pool --- adjacent rooms with lots of junk ie broken chairs, building material
too expensive beds not comfortable no hairdryer insects in the bathroom not very clean
Nothing. Too expensive for a few hours room while waiting for my flight
Horrible location, spartan amenities
Near the airport.
Based on previous reviews I had some reservations about staying there. The staff was professional, my room was large, clean, albeit sparsely furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. And a great shower!
Although close in distance to the airport, the meter still read 70 NIS. Combined with taxi from Tel Aviv there's little if any savings and the time difference at 4:00am is small.
Especially helpful staff, great food at Charly's, great wifi and close to the airport. What's not to like?
Staff was very nice. The attached restaurant is very good.
Hotel was dirty, especially the carpet in the room.
Staff was very helpful
Room was dirty and high priced
Our toilette did not work.
This hotel is good to stay near the airport when you have an early flight. It is very convenient and price is ok for this purpose. Staff very friendly and installations are clean and only
Nothing to report but clarifying that this hotel is far from Tel Aviv downtown and is only recommended as to be close to airport.
Close to airport.
No mini fridge in room.
We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the airport. I read other reviews and when one is either reading or writing a review, I feel that they would have to keep the reason of why they are choosing a place in the front of their mind. The location was great for the access to the airport. By car, we drove to the airport in about 15 minutes at 2am. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is under renovation but that didn't effect our stay. It is a dated hotel but for the reasons we were there is was not bad. And yes, like all the other review that mention; Charleys Checkpoint is a great restaurant attached to the hotel.
Balancing everything it was a good place to stay for airport commuters. It was run down and dated but it looks as renovations are underway. We were there on Shabot and so there was no construction while we were there. but two floors are undergoing renovations and so it should help the hotels reviews when they are complete.
Couldn't find, wrong address on internet. Pool broken and rooms bare and shabby,
We stayed in the hotel just few hours before departure but everything was OK
closeness go airport,and restaurant.
room could be nicer but for over night . fine
I looked for quick accommodation near Ben Gurion Airport. Unlike most international cities, there are not many choices near Tel Aviv’s airport, maybe 2 or 3. There are many choices if you don’t mind travelling a bit (well, more than a bit really). But we arrived on a Sunday nite, and flying out again Monday morning, so I desired a hotel near, and the Avia is the closest at perhaps 20 minutes drive, even if your GPS can’t acquire satellites. It is a multi-storey edifice, not a multi-star hotel, for which you will need to travel farther. But seeing as how we only spent 8 hours there, it sufficed. On the other hand, the room cost is a reasonable shekel, and once you wake, you are treated to a well-structured breakfast and can be back at the airport in less time than for the Jews to sojourn from Egypt to the promised land (the story goes, that was 40 years). Note: some people don’t understand my jokes; hint: that last analogy is a joke. Why is this important? Because in Israel, it’s not the distance that matters (distances are small) it’s the traffic. So the closer you are to the airport, the more likely you are to arrive in a practical stretch of time. Enough politics! Now, about the hotel. Check in was smooth and friendly. There’s parking right in front, and (exceptionally) it’s free. That’s because the Avia Hotel is located in the suburbs. So you will manage easily with your bulky cases. But of note is the convention hall in the hotel: that means noise, crowds, and rowdies. So the parking lot may be nearly full if you arrive contemporaneously with the partiers. Also, your room may leak noise from the party. But don’t worry; by 3 am most people may have departed, although some to the room right next to you. Disregard the unimportant stuff I related so far.
(These comments are still "like". I just exhausted the space on the other side.) Aside from that, the room we had was large and typically hotely, with TV, glasses, radio alarm that you have to set, etc. Cleanliness was just average. The bed was fine, and we like it firm. The breakfast ample, a good selection of salads, fruit, buns, jams, even pizza. A variety of breakfast-time beverages. And you can eat as much as you like. The hotel may be improved when you arrive because renovations were under way. But don’t worry, the construction noise started at 10 am, and will be gone shortly.
