Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, only 5 minutes from Old City.

Staff was friendly and good location.

I arrived before the check in time they told me the room was available anyway so I went I was charged 100 Euro extra on my final bill .I had the worse room no proper window only very dark and cold!The towell very old and dirty had to ask for new one.Light switch very dirty.

The staff was absolutely excellent. They helped us in everything that we needed, even arguing with the Egged call centre to try to find a bus to Nazaret. The position is perfect in East Jerusalem, very close to Herod's gate and Damascus gate, in a very quiet and silent street. The room was very clean, they gave us clean towels every day. We were really satisfied with our stay and I would definitely advise this hotel.

One thing could be improved: the bed sheets were a little too small for the mattress.

Spacious, airy room with balcony. Incredibly quiet for busy Jerusalem in small side street five minutes walk from Herod's Gate into Old City; Damascus Gate also close. Caring, professional staff. Much cheaper than similar hotels in West Jerusalem and perfectly safe.

The building and setting of the hotel was quite boutique and charming. A unique setting in Jerusalem. The restaurant in the hotel was very convenient and served a good range of food. The staff were helpful with advice and information on the city and what to do, particularly the lady (whose name I didn't note) who was fantastic in assistance, hospitality and talking about the city.

On the website they sell a choice of double and twin rooms, where as when you arrive the choice of double rooms is limited so you will inevitably end up in a twin room. You should note, this has nothing to do with the hotel, that the area in East Jerusalem closes down at night and there is few choices of restaurants and things to do so you are left to go to the new part of the city in Jaffa Road for this. While I generally enjoyed my experience at the hotel, as a solo traveller I would of stayed somewhere where there was a choice of more places to eat and go out in the evenings rather than be limited to the hotel or traveling to these other areas of the city.

Excellent and friendly service from every one at the hotel and the in-house restaurant. Welcome drink given when checking in. Luggage carried to/from room. Free fruit in the room. Arranging taxi and restaurant bookings for us. The room was clean, large (3-person room with space for four), and with a good view. Bathroom was large, clean and with good shower & bathtub (hot water:-). Little noise from the street.

The beds / mattresses could have been more stiff for my taste, but they were ok to sleep in.

Welcoming and helpful staff - they noticed it was my birthday and sent up wine and fruit, and were happy for us to change rooms at the last minute to a triple when we needed an extra bed. Very close to the old town - 5 minutes walk (looked further on the map)

The staff are great. The breakfast is nice and the restaurant serves divine food! A fun walk through the Arabic speaking quarter to get to the old city.

Qui et situation.

The staff were extremely helpful, very polite and cheerful, although the room was small and could have done with a bit of a makeover it was clean. The food was wonderful we had dinner 2 nights and everything we had was delicious and a reasonable price, the breakfast was equally good with plenty of choice and omelettes made to order. Only about 10mins walk from Old Jerusalem and felt safe walking to and from the hotel although we didn't go out after 7.30. An excellent hotel.

Everything is so wonderful that I have nothing to be critical about! The room is unbelievably tidy and clean with all the equipments comfortable; the internet is fast enough for watching a tennis match online; all the staff are friendly, helpful and patient and they even sent us small gifts after we checked out! What's more, the breakfast is lovely!

Located in the Arab section of Jerusalem about 5 or 6 blocks from the Old City walls. The location of the actual hotel is on a side street just off the main street. Google maps led me right past it and I had to ask a local to show me the front door. Staff was great, free bottled water and fruit at check-in and parting gifts of a poster and jam as well. Very accommodating. A little noisy at night, but mostly due to fireworks going on nearby, not necessarily noise from the city. Would stay again.

Its a beautiful building and has a great restaurant. The staff is great.

For a 3 star hotel, we loved the place; it is not new but renovated and well kept. All the staff was very helpful, polite, spoke well English; they made us feel at home. There is an excelent restaurant at the hotel. Not expensive and every meal we had there was delicious. A huge menu. Also the breakfast was fine. It's in the muslim section of town and we felt safe even walking late at night. The best feature is that the hotel is only a five minute walk to Damascus gate's entrance to the Old City. We stayed there 4 nights.

Very friendly hotel at that price range . Kind and complaisant staff, excellent cuisine with traditional Palestinian dishes. The hotel is very close to Old Town. There were some minor flaws, but these were compensate with the pleasant atmosphere of the hotel.

Visitors must respect the fact that the hotel in the live Muslim quarter, therefore the surrounding streets are a little bit untidy.

Outstandingly friendly, patient and supportive staff and manager. Very nice atmosphere with a lovely small internal patio and quiet location in the Arabic part of the city.
