“The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The availabilty of free parking and an onsite dining room was a real plus. One of the few hotels that offered free wifi during our stay in Israel.”

The use of internet is free and works ok..The food in the restaurant is ok. Do not book this lousy hotel! They are only interested in your money. Our confirmed reservation was given away! `Overbooked!' That is what they told us when we arrived. This is a bad hotel with a bad management. Very poor .They tried to change are mood by offering free meals. We arrived in the early evening 20.00hrs and our reserved room was given away! What a horrible experience. The alternative was a bad located hotel about 7 kilometer out of the Tel Aviv centre. They staff of Basel promised to pay a taxi from the other hotel to Basel. The taxi did not arrive. We lost one day vacation. Next day we got a room in Hotel Basel. We found out: no water in the swimming pool! (While the beaches are crowded, even in april!)Rooms are not cleaned well!No chairs on the balcony. Why does a hotel deliver no chairs on a balcony? The hotel was by far to expensive for what you get. No value for money.

Excellent location, good breakfast Very cold in the room even if outside temperature +25, old furniture, bad bathrom facilities, bad door to the room. The house keeping wakes you up at 8am irrespectively if you put sign 'do not disturb' at the door or not. Hotel is overpriced - the same quality hotel Deborah at the neighbourhood cost 2 times cheaper. The hotel is very noisy, children run back and force over the corridor, everything is heard in the room. Receptionists tries to sell you additional services (E.g trip to diamond exchage) instead of answer your questions about the directions. Therefore the rule number one - never choose this hotel! Never!

The location is excellent. The rooms are very small, small window, the bathroom is tiny. Amenities practically non existent. Hugely overpriced for the very basic, not to say rustic, accommodation this hotel offers.

I enjoyed the location more than anything else. Having access to the business center made my stay more managable being away from my office in the U.S. Free Wi-Fi. Value for money was not quite poor, but definitely not good. I wasn't told there was a parking fee until the second night I parked there. Maybe I'm just not cut out for a 'boutique' hotel experience, but the starkness of my 'upgraded' room was somewhat striking.

Lovely room with good service. Excellent location for our needs. The Shabbat dinner was excellent and the breakfast was good as well. It was very clean and comfortable. There was no mirror on top of the dresser opposite the best which made it difficult to use my own hair dryer or put on makeup. There was no refrigerator in the room--only a mini bar which could not be used to keep anything (water, etc.) cold. Television stations had different volumes which was a bit annoying. Towels were rather thin and not absorbent. The nighttime desk man was not helpful re telephone ---gave me incorrect code for calling us and charged me for local calls made in error. He was no very nice.

Very friendly, helpful staff, the convenience of the location and closeness to good cafes and restaurants in north Tel Aviv. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was of a reasonably high quality. For the money I paid I did not expect luxury, but the hotel is a in need of some modernization especially the public rooms and hallways. The strong scent of the air freshener used throughout was a bit off-putting.

It was a very expensive stay for the standard of the hotel. I have 16 bussiness trips a year and use many hotels. The standard did not reflect the high price. In the same week two other staff stayed in the "mainstream" hotels on the otherside of the road which were of a much higher standard and beachside location and the cost for both staff was 15% lower.

I stayed with 2 kids and asked to make an extra bed for them. The sheets never been brought up (called 3 times) so we all slept in 1 bed. The databases between booking and hotel were not in sync as my entry about 2 kids were lost during the process

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was 1st class with plenty to choose, they always always kept on topping up the selections. The hotel was very clean and tidy, and always had a nice smell to it. Very comfortable seating area, with plenty information leaflets. Rooms were comfy and clean with linen changed several times, fresh towels daily.
