Could have been a bit more luxurious
breakfast hv many choices and decilious. close to beach
hair dryer got too hot to hold very quickly.
The staff at the desk once they were engaged were excellent and assisted me a great deal as I lost my phone. The dining room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were great.
The room smelt musty and towels of stale cigarettes. I had them changed, left the window open and it was fine after that. When not busy the door staff and reception staff looked sleepy and UN interested. The furniture is worn and it needs a coat of paint
The location was good and the place was clean. Breakfast was very good and they have a wide selection to suit anyone.
Be careful as they charged my uncle twice for the stay and they had great difficulty getting the money back and the staff do not respond to emails and phone calls. My wife also banged a her head from the bed side lamp that is installed too close to the bed. She cut her head open and the first aid was not up-to standard. We had to seek further professional help. The hotel staff were not to concerned over it. I don't think I will stay there again.
Small rooms with only one chair, very small bathroom with towels that should have been replaced a long time ago.
Contrary to the last time now the room was awful, small and dirty. The sink was stuck. But the breakfast was as good as we remembered.
It was adequate accommodation.
Blood stains on pillow case!!!!!
Location, courtesy of staff, natural light and ventilation in the room we occupied, parking facility.
Rooms need to be freshened up.
The location, across the street from Tel Aviv Beach and a short walk from the restaurants & Tel Aviv center. For swimming, don't miss the Gordon pool, across the street! The staff was generally fiendly and they were especially nice to our 3 year old daughter. The breakfast was great.
The hotel could benefit from some refreshing. The pool was already closed although the weather was still very hot.
- Quite bad WIFI - small room - very small bathroom - almost no aditional offer - high price
Business lounge; pool in almost constant shadow
Breakfast too expensive; unpleasant decor; poor lighting in bedroom.
Good location, helpful staff
Carpet in halls and rooms in serious need of updating. Time to paint, replace carpet and refresh rooms.
Location, breakfast, comfy atmosphere
Bathrooms are small
Pool was clean Breakfast is one of the best around
Hours of operation unreasonable A good coat of paint and steam cleaning of hallway carpets is recommended
External aspect of the Hotel
Breakfast was very good
small windows automatic mini bar (cannot put anything in) sea view = motorway + building + partial sea small rooms
Staff were rude and unhelpful. A request for a double bed months in advance resulted in two single beds pushed together, which were made separately and came apart during the night. The beds were also uneven which made it hard for a couple to sleep together. Housekeeping forgot items on a daily basis including towels, toilet paper and replacing toiletries with half filled bottles. When we checked in at 2am arriving after a long flight, the credit cards could not be authorized due to there system and they demanded two nights upfront in cash as security. Would not recommend at all, spoiled our time in Israel
In difficult times the staff were attentive helpful and friendly and made our stay a very happy one. Loved it !
walking around town and on the beach
Swimming pool area was pleasant.
My bedroom was opposite the chambermaids rooms and there was a noise when they started work.
I was scheduled for 4 nights in July starting the first day of the IDF invasion of Gaza. My bus tour group was not able to make it to Tel Aviv from where we were that day in Eilat because of the war. Leonardo Basel refused my repeated requests for refund b/c of a situation where I was unable to get to T/Aviv and thus unable to keep my reservation. Booking.com tried on my behalf to get LB to refund my money, to no avail. I know this must have been a difficult time for business in general in Israel, but the hotel's intransigence about not refunding my money is not good for business. I can't imagine booking future visits to a hotel that treated me so poorly.
