Location, room size, facilities: you actually get a small apartment with kitchen, 2 rooms, and shower room, with air conditioning (which can be adjusted so the air does not flow in the face...). Very good value for money No wifi in rooms, no elevator, very basic breakfast

We had a great time staying at the Beit Avital. The location is really fabulous. The light rail stops right in front of the hotel and it's minutes on the light rail to the old city. Shopping at the local market and Ben Yehuda street is so much fun and just around the corner. We would DEFINITELY stay there again!

just the location was good.. the facilities were quite average; the rooms we got was on the 4th floor - with no lift(whew).. fittings were substandard...so was the breakfast... rather average - sub standard hotel overall...certainly not befitting of Bookings.com levels..

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They made the guests feel comfortable and welcome If you leave the window open, there is a lot of noise through the night. But you do have the option of closing the window and turning on the air conditioner

The location was great. We were able to walk to the Old City or take the new light rail which stopped outside our door. The person who runs the place was very helpful and nice (a little difficulty with his English, but tried very hard). Considering everything we would stay there again and would recommend it if you want easy access to the Old City and the sights. No parking at site if you have a rental car but this is true for most of Jerusalem. If you have a room facing the front it can be noisy due to the train stop. The air-conditioning works great (can be too cold) and blows right on you at night, so if you decide to turn it off and open the window you get the noise. No elevator so not good if you can not climb stairs.

The place is rather a hotel, than a hotel. There are a huge to problem to check in on Shabbat (Saturday), however the "hotel" is charging a full price for this day. The owner should make some other arrangements, other than asking tourist to check in at 9 pm.

Everything. Staff very attententive. Location was perfect for me in reference to my conference. Enjoyed breakfast being available. Staff informative on culture and answered all our questions. They took the time to locate places and give us directions when we needed to find a location. Suggested places to dine and gave directions. They arranged the shuttle from the hotel back to the airport for us. We definitely would stay there again.

The owner of the hotel - a great person, everyone will find a warm word. Hotel staff friendly, assisting with any questions. You can exchange currency at the hotel at a good rate. 7 minutes walk from the central bus station, 5 minutes to the market, 20 minutes to Old Town.
