Score from 514 reviews Good
In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1377 reviews Good
Between Jerusalem's city hall and the historic quarter, this large historic building is less than a 10-minute walk from the Holy Sepulchre Church. It offers a total of 4 restaurants.
Score from 210 reviews Very good
The David Citadel Hotel overlooks the old city of Jerusalem. It features a large swimming pool, gym, and a range of dining facilities; all with panoramic views. Guest rooms are modern and spacious.
Score from 124 reviews Very good
Poor customer service at reception.
Central location Friendly reception staff We felt secure Adequate for the price
The room was not well cleaned at arrival, and during our stay the cleaning only comprised changing of towels and making the bed. Used coffee cups were not replaced with clean ones. The wifi did not work properly in our room. Loud music from a nearby community hall several nights.
It is very close to the Old City
It really is not a hotel, no hairdryers in the room. Construction of a new set of apartments is happening across the road which will cut out the view and also it is noisy. It is primarily a hostel for large groups of students doing a "summer camp" in Israel. The reception staff are trainees. There is a strict demarcation between reception and catering staff so food is only available at set times.
Location. It is really close to Jaffa gate.
Old hotel. Large rooms are equipped with the old furniture, the carpet is dusty and too old, the smell in the room is bad. No ability to open a window - only a door to the stairs. No fresh air. We were very disappointed to find such a poor quality for such a high price. Breakfast is poor and not tasty at all. The smell of chlor (chemistry) in the small internal garden doesn't make you happy also. Many of hostels inside old city provides higher quality for half of that price.
Excellent position 5 minutes walk from old city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plentiful breakfasts. Spacious, very comfortable bedroom with good bathroom, clothes storage and fridge.
Room size good
Building site opposite Hotel used as a hostel by young people Breakfast not very appetising Room servicing variable with less towels left each day Seemed shabby and dated
Reception staff extremely helpful and attentive to any problems.
Little choice at breakfast perhaps due to preparing for Passover as it was the morning of the eve of Passover. I have stayed in this hotel before and the breakfast has always been excellent.
Location was excellent. Room was spacious and had good storage and counter space. Bed was ok shower and water pressure were excellent. Price was reasonable in comparison to other places.
wifi was spotty at best. there was a lounge area outside of the room where the signal was a bit better but at peak times you could not count on it. Breakfast was not high quality as there is no restaurant on the premises. If you were hungry in the evening there was no food anywhere in the hotel after 6:00. not even a vending machine for soda, water or snacks.
terrific location kind of funky place view fantastic
Location is excellent - just 10 minutes walk to the Jaffa Gate and you walk through a very nice private appartment complex to get there.
Had requested a shabbos meal when booking and presumed this would be okay, but when we got to the hotel, they said they couldn't do it. The premises seem to be used mainly for parties etc. and is more of an establishment for this purpose with a few bedrooms that are annexed from the main reception area. There is a building site opposite the hotel at present so it could prove noisy if you like to sleep in late.
