In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1311 reviews Good
With views of the city, Jerusalem Gardens Hotel and Spa features air-conditioned accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a balcony. It has a spa and a terrace. The restaurant serves international cuisine.
Score from 379 reviews Good
Offering a 24-hour front desk, Jerusalem Castle Hotel is located in Jerusalem. The property is 1 km from Mamilla Mall where you will find many restaurants, shops and cafes.
Score from 152 reviews Excellent
In central Jerusalem, just a 5-minute walk from the Mahane Yehuda Market, the newly-opened Agripas Hotel offers spacious rooms with hardwood floors and city views.
Score from 835 reviews Very good
everything: location, breakfast, free parking, other facilities
It is nice being out of the center of the city.
I have a chemical sensitivity. From the moment I walked in I knew I would have issues. When I first got my room, the smell was so harsh I asked for another room. The one they gave me was only two doors down from the last one. I said fine, if that is my only choice and they said yes. I came back with my suit cases and realized I could not spend time in the room. Finally they put me on another floor that had a balcony so I could open the door and air it out. The curtains seemed to be the worst.
Spacious and comfortable rooms with a good view. Not cold in winters.
Location is far from the city, taxis might be expensive for travellers on a budget. Buffet with a lot of choice on breakfast and dinner, but quality of food needs to be improved. No mini-bar in rooms. Overall, decor and ambiance is not cozy and relaxing. No charm with this place. Awful service at reception.
This is a newly renovated hotel and is quite a good option for a Jerusalem stay, clean, comfortable and good value - central Jerusalem hotels tend to be expensive. Ideal for visitors with a car as parking is plentiful. Central Jerusalem and the old city are about 15 minutes drive. Clean, modern room, nice bathroom, good breakfast.
Pool closed Dec - May.
- the service - all the staff especially Russell were outstanding - the room - cleanliness - breakfast - overall comfort and security
We had dinner at the bar at the hotel, but the food was not good.
Responsive staff Modern room design Nice bathroom Cool patio
Brand new hotel ,well equiped with a good location and nice view and charming terrasse for breakfast
Unfortunately, I think it is very often the case in Israel, the service is very poor. House keeping storms into the room without even knocking on the door and don't even apologize. I asked for a late check (2pm) out that has been granted at no cost. Seemed pretty good until I cam into the room at 13.30 to find that the room had been cleaned and my belongings removed from the room...
The breakfast was incredible. There were so many options and an over station. Couldn't have been more satisfied.
Nice place, nice room...
If you want to visit a bar after 23:00 and to drink/eat a little - it is a problem
view cleanliness bright superb grounds
tended to get lost finding it. got lost in the hotel
The staff was very nice and friendly, our room was immaculate and clean (even for my germaphobe wife). We stayed with our 2 year old son and even though the children playroom is only open on Friday and Saturday the clerk offered to unlock it for us. The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth every calorie.
to fare away from any shops caffs restaurants in fact the middle of no wear
Room was nice albeit not everyone will like the style. Supper was surprisingly good especially for a kosher meal. That's very good news because there are no dining places anywhere near by. The breakfast unfortunately was not on par. Very nice gardens to hide and relax. Decent and well maintained pool.
With few exceptions, the staff was indifferent and unconcerned. The 4th floor cafe that was supposed to be open, was not. Same with the children's club ('the jamboree'). Tried to talk to staff members but nobody seemed to know what's going on or care. The location is well off the beaten track so you need your car to get ANYWHERE. Parking is not sufficient and the ridiculously small lot doesn't come even close to take all the cars. For its price, Hotel Yehuda did not meet our expectations.
Great rooms in a lovely surrounding. The staff were extremely accommodating and dealt with any issue immediately always with a smile - there are many other hotels who could learn a lot from Hotel Yehuda!
The food was good but we've been spoilt by quality and quantity of other hotels. Our only other complaint was the number of rowdy kids in the hotel but that was nothing to do with the hotel or the staff but parents and group leaders who didn't know how to control them!
Very nice hotel located on western edge of Jerusalem. Lovely grounds and very clean, well maintained rooms made for a very comfortable stay. Shower heads and water pressure were fabulous. Very nice ppol. Many offerings for breakfast, including made-to-order eggs, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, blintzes, pastries and cereals, many different salads and more. (No fresh juices was a disappointment.)
Overall, staff was OK but not as helpful and welcoming as they could have been. Pool was only available to guests from 1:00-6:00pm, which was not disclosed up front, and hotel lifeguards paid no attention to what was happening in the pool whatsover. No washer/dryer for guest use, and hotel dry cleaning charge is very excessive. The biggest potential downside of the hotel is its location, which is a solid 15 minute drive from the Old City (30+ minutes in traffic). The non-rush hour drive is not bad, but if you are looking for a hotel that will allow you to walk to the city's amazing attractions, this is not it. Free, secure hotel parking is a plus, but finding parking in the city was a huge hassle, so we left our car at the hotel and took a cab (about 60-70 NIS, $20 US) into Jerusalem.
The staff was very very friendly The breakfast was excellent The rooms were lovely The bathroom was very nice The swimmingpool was lovely, cool and clean The view was beautiful The Yehuda Hotel is highly recommended
When entering the hotel, we were nicely greeted by the guards, feel very secure, the receptionist was very welcoming, our room was large, modern and nicely decorated with view of the garden, beds were comfortable, the room was clean and equipped with a mini fridge and a kettle to prepare tea or coffee. Breakfast was delicious and plenty, service (reception, dining room, pool) was kind and helpful. The pool was fantastic, very relaxing, surrounded by a garden and a parquet. Wifi is provided free and working well throughout the hotel. We stayed here in the past when the place used to be a hostel, it was very nice too. Now when it was completely renovated and turned into a 4 star hotel it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely return.
Room service even on Shabbat ( limited menu of course) Amazing bed and bathroom Beautiful balcony and view Helpful staff ( helped with taxi service and bus routes) Absolutely incredible breakfast, even on Shabbat
We were on the fifth floor but had a trail of ants in our room coming from the balcony.
Excellent comfortable bedroom; really helpful staff; great facilities and welcoming. The hotel is a great sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Jerusalem. Easy to get into the centre and worth the 20minute journey. check bus times and make sure fixed price if taking a taxi!!
Aircon seems not as effective in the middle of the night; suspect hotel turns it up. Snacks and light meal menu; little choice Pressure to have extensive buffet dinner in the evening; not what we wanted While culturally attuned and accepting; more information required on what to expect on the Sabat in particular no hot food. Did not expect 1000's of outsiders using the pool over the weekend; slightly disturbing
excellent hotel; out of the city center, but easy to park and easy access. great facilities, large modern rooms, great breakfast. will come back.
The place was great! Staff was helpful...food was excellent, and the room was as nice as any I've stayed in the States. Great place to get away.
The location is far away from the center of town. If you don't have a car or can't afford a taxi, it can be a problem. The nearest bus stop is about 1/2 mile away.
Modern, clean and nice room. Swimming pool and access to Old City and closeness to the Biblical Zoo a plus.
Disinterested staff and overall poor customer service.
A brand new hotel in the Jerusalem Forest with great views, an awesome swimming pool and excellent staff. On our last day a wedding was taking place in the courtyard below our balcony, it was perfect. A great way to end our stay in Israel.
Lacked soul. Maybe because it is so new and the staff is so young, or maybe because there was no grounding group, no real Jewish flavor to the hotel.
Nice clean hotel - europe standard
Cold wather in the swimming pool
