If you want to go to Jaffa (the old part of the city), it's a 30 min walk from the hotel, or you can catch a bus (it's a nice walk though, you can go following the coast). Same goes with the central bus station, you'd better catch a bus or a taxi to get there, specially if going with luggage. But really, we hardly found these things like real disadvantages.
The hotel is right next to Jerusalem Beach, and near other beaches, like Banana Beach, so if beach holidays are what are you looking for, this is perfect. Plus, the staff is really nice and the breakfast is good (traditional Israel breakfast, with salad, eggs, bread with jam, butter, chocolate or cheese, juices, regular coffe or capuccinos or iced coffee...) and it's not exactly a buffet, since you get served by someone, but you can have as much as you want of anything. The room was fine. The first day we arrived extra soon and they gave us a room with jacuzzi, which wasn't included in our reservation, just because it would be ready sooner, for the same price, and that was really kind. The rooftop terrace is also very nice, with beach views.
