Casa De Maria    

Very nice and new hotel with helpful staff. Our room was big enough (especially bathroom) which is not standard in Israel. Breakfast was good - above avarage in Israel. We got a nice gift on departure. Free parking.

Location of the hotel is not very good - it is next to the very noisy street and it is quite far to the city center. No wifi in rooms.

Excellent hospitality. The owner Kamal accompanied us to galilee. He was so gracious to give us a lift to Nazareth village. If I again visit Nazareth I will only stay at Casa de Maria. The hotel rooms were excellent, food very good. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Distance from Basilica is just 7 min walk. Excellent location with full view of mountains. I felt very homely and safe in this hotel. The hotel charges were very reasonable. Most important all the people in the hotel were very helpful and friendly. I thank each nd every one in the hotel.

New hotel with good sound proofing.

Over-rated, not 4 stars, only 3. Poor building design with really no parking, stairs to elevator. Poor wifi signal in the room. No outlets in room for laptops, camera battery chargers. Not even outlet for the floor lamp that was in the room??? Overbearing perfume smell in the room. Arabic decoration in hotel.

We booked a room for one night since we had an event in the city. The staff were nice, maybe a bit astonished to see us, 2 Israeli guys from Tel Aviv and not tourists. The room (28) was very good, not big but new and clean. Even though the hotel sits on the main road, there is no noise.

The Breakfast felt a little bit poor. "Normal" bread, no surprises. Sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, cheeses. We offered coffee & tea.

We have appreciated the comfort and the design of the rooms. The staff was particullarly kindle and available. The management was helpful. The proposed dinner was absolutly delicious. We have had the feeling to be part of the family. They have provided us advices on trip around Nazareth. We have had the chance to go to Easter Mass with them.

I found Casa de Maria a great centre point to the city of Nazareth as well as the large cities around Nazareth. There was enough site seeing around the hotel to keep us busy for days. A Big fashion mall 3 mins walk away from the hotel was great for restaurants and coffee shops. Big Fashion stays open late which was nice because most shops in the old city close early so Big Fashion was nice in the evening times. There is also another shopping centre called dodge shopping centre that is close to Casa De Maria, there is coffee shops, a pharmacy, restaurants, anything that you need you can find at dodge centre. I personally recommend the restaurant in the hotel. The food was delicious, the staff was great and the hotel was the cleanest hotel I have seen in all of Nazareth. The second day the owner, Kamal Tannous took us on a tour of the city for free, the places that we saw were amazing and we did not have to worry about parking or the safety of our car because we were riding with the owner. He made our stay at Casa De Maria very comfortable and worry free, everything we requested was brought to us, with no hassle. It was a wonderful vacation and I highly recommend Casa de Maria to travellers going to Nazareth.

My stay at case de maria was one that I will never forget. I have visited the holy land of Israel 17 times, and have stayed at many hotels, but like Casa De Maria I have never seen before. The level of cleanliness, and comfort I felt in this hotel was un describable. My room was big and had a lovely balcony where my wife and I sat daily reading the bible, it felt incredible to be able to read the bible stories and see right in front of my eyes where these stories took place. Casa De Maria is located within walking distance of the city centre, as well it is close to a modern shopping centre. I will never stay at another hotel when returning to israel again I have found my safe and comfortable home away from home at Casa De Maria. The staff was unique as it is a family run hotel, the family is always willing to help and gave us as much helpful information as they could. Parking is provided from the hotel which is very helpful. food is great. I really have nothing bad to say about my stay. And i will defiantly be returning soon.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms had newly renovated bathrooms which were gorgeous. I appreciated the free, private parking.

Online it makes it sound like it is within walking distance of the Old City. It is not, unless you are a teenager. There is no parking in the Old City, so driving is not an option and the taxis are a huge rip-off ($10 U.S.) for a 5 minute ride. It is also a little noisy because it is on a main road.

Secure parking area

Far from town. This is a highway hotel (not a bed and breakfast) similiar to a Quality Inn or Red Roof Inn that are located right on the city bypass highway - right next to a gasoline station. It is not in a quiet or residential area, and is not convenient to the old city of Nazerith. If you do not have a car there is absolutely no reason to even consider staying here. If you do, we would suggest only staying here if you cannot find assurances from other places on a place to park your car overnight with some degree of confidence

I stayed at this hotel in the month of april, it was so comfortable, the location of the hotel is perfect, I felt this because you dont have to enter the busy streets of nazareth city in your car. You can park at the hotel where it is safe and free of charge and walk everywhere! The walk to the old city is about 5 mins, there is a big shopping center 2 min walk and another large shopping center called the dodge center about 7 min walk from the hotel. The rooms were clean and large, the staff was helpful and friendly! I had a great and relaxing stay at casa de maria.

Location for me was great, not far from the city a 7 min walk but not in the middle of the city where there is to much traffic. There was a "big" shopping centre 3 min walk from the hotel to keep guests entertained if interested in shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful, maps of the city were available upon request which were also very helpful. Great customized tours available, depending on what you want to see surrounding the city of nazareth the hotel owner will sit with you to help you decide what to see and where to go and he will personally take you on the tour that you planned. Food delicious, rooms clean and spacious, I have no negative thoughts about Casa De Maria, and would definitely return if visiting Israel again.

Room was comfy.

It took us 2 full hours getting lost in the narrow streets of Nazareth, since the gps coordinates were wrong and no one knows this hotel.

A very friendly family hotel, making us feel at home. Easy to find and to park. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious clean and comfortable A good place to stay both for visiting Nazareth and surroundings.

Staff is superfriendly

This hotel was amazing. Staff was very friendly, tours are available which take you through the surroundings cities (holy places). Nazareth is a great central point, there is lots to keep you entertained. Close to the hotel is a "big" shopping centre, and about a 15 min walk you will make it to the centre of nazareth city. The location of the hotel is perfect because it is not in the centre of the city which allows for less traffic when arriving to the hotel as nazareth is a very traffic full city, this allows the guests to feel relaxed in the hotel always. I will be returning to Casa De Maria in the summer time and will be bringing my whole family with me. Casa de maria is a wonderful hotel for business, family, leisure, if planning on going to Nazareth I would 1000% recommend this hotel.

Casa De Maria was a beautiful hotel. The staff, the environment, and the service were all top of the line. The rooms were big, clean, and the Mediterranean food was to die for, something very special. This family run hotel was one that I will never forget. Calm, clean, and just what I was looking for. By the time my stay was over, I felt like a part of the family and did not want to go home. I will definitely be returning to Casa De Maria in the near future.

The fact that the Hotel was very new, very very clean and comfortable and the staff, who are the family that own it, are very very friendly. The owner of the Hotel organises a trip around the Sea of Gallilee to see all the sights, in one day...an amazing day out. We left at 9am and returned at 5.30pm...He took us to see all the churches where Jesus performed his miracles, up into the mountains, down to the Jordan River to the Baptism site and back to Nazareth...we saw everything there is to see in that area in a day. Price depends on how many people go...we paid 75 us dollars per person because we were 4. The breakfast was fabulous, with fantastic coffee....and Tony the owners son drove us to the bus stop for us to catch us bus to Jordan at 8am in the morning....

There isn't anything that I did not like about the Hotel.

Casa De Maria is a great hotel, newly furnished, air conditioned, clean, and quiet. It is a family run hotel and they make you feel right at home. I came for a business trip and while there I took a tour with the owner of the hotel. The tour was wonderful, it included many of the holy places in the city. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. The hotel owner, did a superb job explaining and describing the holy land and the miracles that occurred there. I would recommend to anyone going to Israel to go and visit Nazareth and spend a few days at Casa De Maria.
