City Hotel - an Atlas Hotel  

Don't be put off by quite dilapidated exterior of the hotel or old- fashioned lobby - rooms/ studios are fresh (imagine a mix of azure blue, green, white and grey), spacious and ergonomic, featuring lateral sea views (the hotel is 3 min. Walk from the sea). Hotel staff is super- friendly and helpful. A good choice if you want to be in a nice location (Tel Aviv North City Centre), without paying a fortune for staying in faceless chain hotels

Very good breakfast and we liked your bicycles.

The breakfast is very good, Israeli style. We came during Pessach and, apart from the usual matzah instead of bread, there was a huge selection of salads, fruit, and several warm meals to choose from. The entrance hall and the breakfast room are bright and comfortable. The position is good, not far from the beach and very close to the main attractions in the center. The quality/price ratio seems ok for Tel Aviv (but next time I will check also other options). There is a useful public parking at the side of the hotel which costs between 25 and 30 NIS/day (but if you stay past 7 am you have to pay again).

The rooms are on the small side (even for european standards). Furniture and decoration are ok, but the general impression is more that of a 3 star rather than a 4 star hotel. They say they have a private parking but it was full for the two days we stayed.

Great location - just a block away from the beach and boardwalk! Staff were efficient, helpful and friendl(ier). Breakfast buffet was good. We had to check-out at 2 in the morning and staff were there to assist and book us a taxi to the airport.

Like most of Tel Aviv, hotel was on the expensive side. Small, box-type rooms. Price-room ratio was not that great; very basic hotel.

The staff were absolutely outstanding: friendly and professional, especially Norbert. Great location.

I found the hotel very noisy, as if the walls were very thin. I think the rooms were a bit small.

The staff was excellent - very accommodating and helpful in all areas! It was a pleasure staying at City Hotel!

Small rooms with no sound-proofing. Cleaners started to vacuum the corridor at 8:00am. Small bathroom

Y feel myself very comfortable, as being at home.

I do have a complaint, but, as I cannot use this place for it, I´say nothing.

Hotel was quiet and staff was helpful. Near major street and about 5-minute walk to beach; beach towels provided. Nice breakfast buffet. Nice veranda to sit out in the front of hotel.

One computer for 96 rooms and computer was "almost out of memory" all of the time. No lobby bar as advertised on website. No real amenities other than a mini-safe and a small refrigerator that barely kept the things we put in it cool.

People at the hotel were extremely candid and willing to help at any time. The location is great, just 2 blocks from Tel Aviv beach and other center attractions. Rooms (specially top ones) have great views of the city and sea shore. Excellent place to stay in a great location.

The breakfast is not the best, compared to other Israeli hotels, but is ok anyway. The same comment for Shabbat and holiday dinners (this is something that can be improved in variety and quality).

Perfect location, close both to the beach and to the city center. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

La situation géographique : près de la plage et du centre ville. L'accueil du personnel, en particulier de Norbert qui parle français et nous a donné de bons conseils de visites. La chambre propre et confortable aux couleurs gaies, équipée d'un coffre fort. Le parking privé au sous sol. Le bon petit déjeuner, très varié.

La vue de la chambre était plutôt triste. Le prix est élevé pour un hôtel qui n'est pas luxueux.
