Offering a 24-hour front desk, Jerusalem Castle Hotel is located in Jerusalem. The property is 1 km from Mamilla Mall where you will find many restaurants, shops and cafes.

|Less than 5 minutes’ walk from Mahane Yehuda Market, King George Complex air-conditioned studios and apartments in central Jerusalem. Free WiFi is available.||
In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1322 reviews Good
Great location very close to the old city and stores. Very friendly and helpful staff.
wi-fi poor connection, room without view
Good position, 5 minutes walking distance from the Jaffa Gate. Good value for a double room (circa 70$ for a double room)
Not possible to have 2 separated beds. The staff did not appear very friendly and committed, nevertheless we did not have any problems.
Close to the Old Town, and very friendly staff.
Noisy location next to the main cross road. Name Hotel is a bit overdone - as it looks more like rooms to rent.
Great location - easy to get to Old City and to active parts of New City (walkable to bus station - but there was also the light railway nearby). Convenient to be above 24-hour supermarket. Big windows - bright room.
Hotel front desk was also checkout of the (quite active) supermarket, meaning waiting in sometimes long lines to check in/talk to hotel staff. Friendly owner but staff not as friendly. For example: hotel wifi router broke during my stay, and staff refused to fix it. When I and other guests complained to owner that it had been down for two days, he apologized said staff never told him - and he immediately gave us password to his back-up server plus got someone to fix the main one first thing next morning.
Great stuff and facilities, Best location
Wonderful hotel. I had amazing time at 'City Hotel'. The staff are amazing, the location of the hotel is superb, everything about it is fabulous. I would love to stay here again.
Location is very close to the center, downstairs there is a supermarket ( which is also reception)
Very small room, bed linen was not clean, also three towels were dirty with spots all around, on the bed linen were revealed hairs after other guests. When we get back from guided tour we revealed all this and asked to change the room, it was about 12 pm, and we waited 2 pm when they cleaned bed linen and towels, next morning we changed the room for more comfortable.
best location possible, clean and modern room, though small
there is a lot of noise that seemed to be coming from to adjacent rooms that were occupied by some of the owners, talking loud on the phone and smoking with the doors open. There is no reception, the hotel is managed by/from the night shop downstairs.
Perfect location. Gives access to the Old City's Jaffa Gate in five minutes walking.
It's actually a shop with a few rooms above. 7 to be more precise. The 101 room was very tiny and poorly isolated so we could hear other (loud) guests all day and night. Also we had some trouble with the hot water - we had to ask for it to be available...
I liked the location. Close to old town. Clean and nice room. And straff were helpful.
Traffic. So much traffic even at night. Noisy outside.
The 24 hr Supermarket below and close proximity to the Mamilla Mall and Japha gate of the Old City is fantastic. This is a small hotel, with small rooms and ideal to sleep in a clean bed with a hot shower and being able to explore Jerusalem on foot.
No elevator, but stairs are not too bad. Room smelt of smoke.
Stuff is really nice. Yes, there is no reception - however I do not see an issue of this, as you just call them or go in the local store just below the rooms. We had a small issue with the hot water (cold and hot was switched that we overlooked jet-lagged) and it took 30sec for someone to help us.
Very noisy! They did not have any noise blocking in the hotel or the windows. The front window faces a shop that is open 24/7, and people are shouting all night.
A totally amazing location. We were shocked at the small room, then grew to love it. All was clean and in working order. Big storage. Really friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous view over the street.
They need to find a safer location to keep your suitcases during the day.
There was WiFi and a tv. Showers worked and had hot water. Shabbat friendly
The rooms are tiny. We were not given toilet paper. They did not record my reservation. The room was very dusty-especially under the bed.
Location & the 24 hour grocery store (also serving as the hotel reception!)
Wi-Fi was poor and I could not use Skype.
exellent location. if you need 1-2 budget nights in the center of Jerusalem it's ok. The room was very clean, everything insde is new, nice bathroom and small but cosy room. Boutiq hotel - only 7 rooms or so...
The reception in in the supermarker (yes!) near. The guy in the supermarket didn't speak English or Hebrew. He wanted to chare us more than booking.com but when we showed him an email from booking.com agreed to the price stated there.
Close to the most important places to see in Jerusalem, a good relation cost/benefits.
The cleaning of the apartment could be better.
Security - had a guy walk into my room late at night giving me the biggest fright. Manager explained it was a mistake. The next day, I saw a man loitering in the hallway who bolted down the stairs after he saw me. Manager explained he was doing cabelling. When I got back to my room a new TV was installed. Nice to know I was informed of this! Luckily I had locked most of my valuables but imagine if I hadn't??? I should have been told prior and asked if this was ok, not discover this in retrospect.
Free upgrade to a larger room, awesome view of Jerusalem and the supermarket was right below where the staff was on top of everything with a smile. Super clean and shampoo and soap and clean facilities and a nice bed, def recommend.
The stairs I has to climb a little, a elevator would be nice but the hotels small so I know that be impossible.
Location cheap, affordable
Rooms were tiny. Bed right up against two walls. Literally no room to open a suitcase
helpful staff view from our very big window 24h open market beneath (even in shabat!)
For single person good location at good price, should you want to be in the center.
Location, location, location
The room was barely bigger than a shoe box. Walls are too thin so noise coming from the adjacent rooms was loud and non-stop through the early hours of the morning. No late checkout option, we had to leave the room by 11:00 AM even though it was a Saturday. No front desk, you have to deal with the supermarket staff next to the "hotel".
The owner, Gidon is a very nice, helpful and understanding person.
