Close to Jerusalem, staff was excellent, recommended a awesome restaurant for dinner, rooms were very comfortable.

far away from everything, very small rooms, problems with hot water, bad breakfast

apart of what one expects from accommodation ( safe clean comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly staff, free parking at the site), the location is excellent ( in walking distance to the old city of \Jerusalem, and also - the reception had all the stuff prepared prior to our arrival, which was SOO comfortable, really amazed how fast we were in our rooms ( having travellend a lot, it was really fast procedure! well done!)

Very good location, 15 mins from old city. The bus stop for number 75 is right outside the hotel and takes you to old city for only 5 shekels (1€). All receptionists speak fluent English and extremely efficient and helpful! I booked a day trip to the Dead Sea and would highly recommend it but remember to take a swimming costume and flip flops to enjoy the sea experience.You can also rent these things.

Rooms facing the road are very noisy but there are also quieter rooms without a view. Everything closes in Jerusalem after 6 pm, therefore there is no night life.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. They went above and beyond to help us and their dedication to customer service is fantastic. Thank you such much Commodore Staff, you made our stay at the hotel fantastic - especially organising our airport transfer.

The staff were wonderful. The accountant, Abdullah, took me for a tour of the city during his time off and Laila was just Miss Wonderful. She provided all the information, tips for Jerusalem. The chef is a wonderful character and they all make you feel at home and ensure that your stay is pleasant.

Maybe announce the dinner options earlier (the day before or from the morning) so you can plan whether you want to eat at the hotel or not

Nice and kind hotel staff willing to help you at any time. Quiet neighbourhood. You can easily go upto damascus gate(old city) with bus no.75 (For only 5 sheckel pp) which passes by the hotel all the time and from there you can get the train to get to town center or anywhere you want to go. You can get to old city on foot in 10-15 minutes through lions gate

Rooms not so clean, the pillow I had to use was smelling bad and for the hole three nights we stayed I had a bath towel on top of it. I did not say anything as I am not the person who likes to make problems, I just wont return back there. Breakfast enough but not my taste as too many things that we do not used to eat at all (arabic style). Not a 4 star hotel thats for sure!!!!! If you decide to book it dont expect a 4 star hotel!!!!!!

The hotel was located on walking distance from the old city enabling a perfect route via a view point at the Mount of Olives and from there down to the old city of Jerusalem. The hotel as such was calm and quiet and the staff was very warm, friendly and helpful. They definitely contributed to a very nice experience of the hotel. In other words, I can for sure recommend the hotel to others.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would fully reccomend coming here. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is traditional...varied and good. Getting to the city center is easy with bus 75, the comes every 10 minutes or so. Our stay was made so wonderful because of the great staff that they have. Khader and Annetta were extremely helpful and are so greatful to them for having made our stay so enjoyable. Khader helped us with every single part of our stay in Jerusalem and made sure we didn't miss any sights and gave us great reccomendations. Annette was always ready to help and always had a big smile on her face! Thank you Commodore Hotel for an amazing stay in Jerusalem.

Staff very friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble for them

Food was acceptablle but not brilliant.

Very friendly staff! A very nice room with a balcony on the Mt. Of Olives- very nice view.

Location - it is quite a distance to the main attractions in Jerusalem- so either be ready for a long walk or to take a car/taxi.

Not impressed. No swimming pool. No dinner.

Great Staff

Staff were really friendly and helpful, provided coffee when I had an early morning departure, sorted out transport to Ben Gurion airport. Fairly close to the Old City, 15 minutes walk is plenty.

Ce n'est pas facile de trouver un hôtel de qualité à Jérusalem à moins de 100 eur. A 20 minutes à pied de la porte de Damas, ou en 5 minutes avec le bus 75, celui-ci est très bien. Le personnel est excellent et disponible : Anetta & Leila à la réception sont sympathiques et toujours prêtes à aider. Par exemple, le dernier jour notre départ était matinal, et bien ils ont avancé l'heure du petit déjeuner (petit déjeuner local, non continental) pour nous ! les chambres sont très propres, chaque jour de nouvelles serviettes. Le jour de notre arrivée le chef Mohammed nous a offert un repas. Très positif donc.

Il faut demander des chambres côté petite rue ou arrière, car il y a un peu de trafic sur la route qui passe devant l'hôtel. Toutefois après 2 ou 3 nuits à Jérusalem, la fatigue devient conséquente et les bruits deviennent de moins en moins perceptibles !! Pas de bus après 22H, mais le taxi pour remonter à l'hôtel coûte 25 NIS et des bus collectifs à 5 NIS prennent le relais des bus officiels.

Le personnel est vraiment très agréable à l écouté et désireux de rendre service. Les chambres sont confortables et propres. l hotel est situé juste en dehors de la vielle ville sur le mont des Olivier mais un bus en face de l hotel permet de rejoindre en 3 min la vielle ville. Le petit déjeune état bon.

Location a piedi ma ottimo se in macchina; rumoroso sia all'interno della stanza (frigo bar; aria condizionata) che all'esterno (strada sottostante); troppo luminoso (luci esterne al balcone)
