Great location, excellent room, peace and quiet
a room was not clean enough at the check in, but the staff was very attentive and apologetic as a result of this
If this hotel was in Jerusalem, it would be better than Mamilla, Citadel, American Colony, and well, I have to leave out my favorite hotel, but in many ways it competes with the King David, and it even does some things better. For relaxation it's the best. The staff are very attentive to you needs.
One of the evening shift managers needs to smile, frankly I think he is bored, and is more concerned about himself than about the guests. So if that's my biggest concern, all of the rest of the staff were awesome and the hotel is, Fantastic, Wonderful, Awesome.... I stayed there 27 days, simply because there was nothing wrong outside of they need trained barristas who need to know how to clean/calibrate the machines as the coffee is terrible. Is Management listening..... Fix the coffee, shape up that manager and it is a 12 out of 10!
Staff was extremely helpful; room was well designed. The exercise classes had great teachers (Sarah and Avital), and the breakfast was wonderful.
The shower room in the spa did not have a comfortable bench on which to sit when changing clothes. The one bench it did have was wet. Also, the shower in the spa had long hairs in one corner.
See above Availability of various restaurants at moderate prices and excellent cuisine.
Suggest a fruit basket when arrival in the room.
Loved the personal attention.
Nice view, Excellent dinner. Clean and nice rooms.
I liked having meals provided and not having to cook them myself
I did not like the arrangement of the bathroom and the fact that the bathroom door could not be closed. I did not like the corridors lined with mirrors and having to walk with my head straight ahead in order to avoid seeing myself all the time. I generally felt uncomfortable and not at home.
All in all, very luxurious facilities. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Dinner buffet somewhat overpriced (and no a la cart option)
design of the public spaces. Good breakfast
Extremely expensive so you end up feeling that you do not receive "value for your money". Dinner is priced at NIS 250 per person, which, is very high price for "hotel" food.
No real food or drink service by outdoor pook
Service, staff friendliness, facilities.
Glass around bathroom, not enough privacy. Couldn't leave bathroom light on, too bright. Shower curtain too close for comfort!
Magnificent spa and excellent food
This is a perfect new rersort. All was fantastic
Luxurious and calming vacation
View was not as I expected
Great place near Jerusalem(but not too far from Gush Dan) to stay.New(as to 6-2014),comfortable and clean. The room design is really nice and innovative. The view is fantastic. The breakfast is ok(4 out of 5) and is a good value for the money,no doubt.
Some minor issues that were disturbing : 1. The WiFi withing the rooms was published as "free" on hotel's official site.Well,it's not free at all apparently. 2. The TV with a streamer is really nice, but since there are Facebook/Youtube and other very convenient application, it seems logical to provide a TV remote control with a keyboard, and not letting the guests to type letter by letter using a virtual keyboard on the screen.
Beautiful design Big and comfortable rooms Great bathroom Nice indoor and outdoor pool Great food at breakfast and dinner A place to relax
I checked out early morning to catch my 8:15 flight to Paris and I was offered by the front desk a day before that if I cant make the breakfast then they can prepare me at the front desk a box pack with "breakfast to go" that sounded very thoughtful and we requested to get it, in the morning there was 2 buttifull looking boxes prepared for us at the front desk. We arive at the airport knowing that no need to worry or buy breakfast we sit in to the business lounge and open that box and I almost flipped! There was a squashed baguette with a cold scrambled eggs and tomatoes inside I almost vomited when looking at it and when I tasted it it felt like I'm eating something from 2 weeks ago! salad was decent so my breakfast consistent from a salad and some kind of a yogurt drink. I would like to give some advice when you pack up a breakfast to go it should not be a scrambled egg sandwich that is kept in a fridge for a few days it should rather be some kind of bread / roll with a cup of tuna salad or egg salad on the side that is not going to ruin the bread and is it normal to eat cold out of the fridge!!
Super Duper, Ultra modern, very high spec throughout. Loved the ensuite facilities in bedroom. Spa treatment massage was 'top notch'.
Very pricey. Disappointed that some staff members have no or very little knowledge of communicating with their guests in English. I booked an appointment to have my hair done but had to cancel due to the fact the hairdresser didn't understand me.
הכל היה מושלם
The spa waiting area us relaxing. The food is pretty good ( though maybe not quite as good as other Isrotel hotels) the staff is helpful. The decor is mice and treatments good if you can get them.
Hard to get appointments at spa.no amenities or spa attendants. They refuse to serve tea in dining room after dinner, very disappointing.
very relaxing, food was quite good
beds were ok, not what you would expect for a higher-end spa
Food, room, spa
Great food for the kosher traveller, close to Jerusalem.
Rooms beautiful, modern , comfortable, staff friendly and attentive, food excellent.
pricey, even though for Israel standards reasonable.
