A bit noisy in a very full dining room!
The pool and spa area are beautiful.
The cost of dinner was very high. The dinner should not be buffet for that price. Main courses should be ordered and served at the table The bathtub/shower are nice to look at but not great to use. Shower curtain sticks to your body. Big design mistake.
Hotel is clean and new. Food was quite good Wine prices were reasonable at dinner.
Prices for anything extra too drink were simply too high. Both in room and at the lobby. With such a high price for the stay I would expect to have an option to by a bottle of water at only 300% from its price outside. Not 600...
the room , great breakfast, nice bathtub
Dinner is very pricey!
Cultivating of grape vines and roses
Check in was not efficient
food was fabulous.
a/c went off in mid of night because fancy system and shuts of when no movement. no a/c in bathrooms by pool and exercise studios and check out is at noon so need to shower in those facilities and very uncomfortable and hot. don't like outside pool area. pool not big enough to do laps. there isa lap pool down the road but they charge you to use it. hotel should make a deal to allow guests to use lap pool. no service at pool. no one helps with towels or drinks.
I come to Israel frequently. This is the first time I stayed with you. I had to extend my reservation. NOFAR, at your front desk at Anavim was outstanding in helping me, given you were booked. Tell her how thankful I am to her and give her a raise please. She got you a long term customer.
The obvious: Lack of sufficient parking.
Beautiful design & setting. Gardens & resting area very comfortable.
A family member came to visit us & was refused access. The room reserved via your site was very disappointing! The "view" was a roof with all kinds of pipes & air-condition systems. We had to move to another room!
Dinner was lovely, we took a half board package Gym is very good Rooms are big and very comfortable
The outdoor pool is small and not suitable for swimming The indoor pool is too busy to swim as they have classes during the day
Great location, excellent room, peace and quiet
a room was not clean enough at the check in, but the staff was very attentive and apologetic as a result of this
If this hotel was in Jerusalem, it would be better than Mamilla, Citadel, American Colony, and well, I have to leave out my favorite hotel, but in many ways it competes with the King David, and it even does some things better. For relaxation it's the best. The staff are very attentive to you needs.
One of the evening shift managers needs to smile, frankly I think he is bored, and is more concerned about himself than about the guests. So if that's my biggest concern, all of the rest of the staff were awesome and the hotel is, Fantastic, Wonderful, Awesome.... I stayed there 27 days, simply because there was nothing wrong outside of they need trained barristas who need to know how to clean/calibrate the machines as the coffee is terrible. Is Management listening..... Fix the coffee, shape up that manager and it is a 12 out of 10!
Staff was extremely helpful; room was well designed. The exercise classes had great teachers (Sarah and Avital), and the breakfast was wonderful.
The shower room in the spa did not have a comfortable bench on which to sit when changing clothes. The one bench it did have was wet. Also, the shower in the spa had long hairs in one corner.
See above Availability of various restaurants at moderate prices and excellent cuisine.
Suggest a fruit basket when arrival in the room.
Loved the personal attention.
Nice view, Excellent dinner. Clean and nice rooms.
I liked having meals provided and not having to cook them myself
I did not like the arrangement of the bathroom and the fact that the bathroom door could not be closed. I did not like the corridors lined with mirrors and having to walk with my head straight ahead in order to avoid seeing myself all the time. I generally felt uncomfortable and not at home.
All in all, very luxurious facilities. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Dinner buffet somewhat overpriced (and no a la cart option)
design of the public spaces. Good breakfast
Extremely expensive so you end up feeling that you do not receive "value for your money". Dinner is priced at NIS 250 per person, which, is very high price for "hotel" food.
No real food or drink service by outdoor pook
Service, staff friendliness, facilities.
Glass around bathroom, not enough privacy. Couldn't leave bathroom light on, too bright. Shower curtain too close for comfort!
Magnificent spa and excellent food
This is a perfect new rersort. All was fantastic
Luxurious and calming vacation
View was not as I expected
Great place near Jerusalem(but not too far from Gush Dan) to stay.New(as to 6-2014),comfortable and clean. The room design is really nice and innovative. The view is fantastic. The breakfast is ok(4 out of 5) and is a good value for the money,no doubt.
Some minor issues that were disturbing : 1. The WiFi withing the rooms was published as "free" on hotel's official site.Well,it's not free at all apparently. 2. The TV with a streamer is really nice, but since there are Facebook/Youtube and other very convenient application, it seems logical to provide a TV remote control with a keyboard, and not letting the guests to type letter by letter using a virtual keyboard on the screen.
