the key to the room was broken and it took 7 reminders to fix it and to let us in the room
The cleanliness and staff were outstanding. The view from the room was breathtaking and the service was impeccable.
Hotel location, facilities, food, staff, comfort, Wi-Fi. I will recommend this hotel to couples for leisure, relaxation, forgetting of your problems.
There were some problems with cleanliness, but this was not a big deal
Værelset, og roomservice
Reception, personale Wellness faciliititer nedslidt. Restaurent snavset. Manglende info for seighseing.
I liked the pool the most but everything was good
Closeness to sea, room.
Friendly and helpful staff. The room on 10th floor was very nice, spacious with amazing view. Guess this room was a little compensation for the long waiting.
I arrived at 11am but only was given the room after 4pm. I think it's quite a long time to wait.
The private beach to Dead Sea & the pool
Staff weren't very friendly or helpful, there are no brochures around the hotel for tours/guides within and around the Dead Sea. Hotel is overrated for what it offers to customers & the pool/access to Dead Sea beach closes early.
The indoor salt water pool, Jacuzzi and the outdoor freshwater pool and deck. The snack bar was good and fairly priced. The freely available cold drinking water is a plus.
The hotel is tired - very tired. It needs a revamp. There is paint peeling off the walls, the carpets are threadbare. Neither the bath nor the shower worked in our room (plugs were rusted and stuck) - we had to shower with the hand-held shower. A disgrace by Crowne Plaza standards.
Renovated rooms. Amazing views.
Spa closes at 6:45 pm. No restaurant in the later evening. Aggressive housekeeping staff at check out time (even if we were a bit late in leaving our room).
Sight to the Ded Sea
It was terrible. First, at the reception, the employees are tired and make yor a favour when they talk to you. We wanted to take bus to Massada´s spectacle, but nobody talk with us. Finally we took our car. In the morning, no water!!! In breakfast, no coffee or tea because they have not water. They didn't tray to find a solution, like mineral water bottles. Breakfast very poor and the service at the dinning room was very bad. Cooker laughed to the staff to bring water. In brief, I was sorry that I didn't reserve an hostel, because the price we paid (900 Nis!!!) is very expensive in relation to the service we received. We will demand our money back.
Location and view.
Temporary constraction in the beach.
the staff are extremely nice and helpful. we were there for the Opera at Masada and when we returned to the hotel at around 1:30 am. the hotel was prepared with refreshements. the location is very good and the pool and beach seems very well kept and clean the rooms are nice with sea view. .
the room facilities are run down the shower fixtures were old and could use some renovation. the carpets and doors saw better days.
Proximity to the dead sea is fantastic and the pool was great
Waited 5 hours for our room to be ready.. far too long for a 'luxury' hotel. many people were arguing with staff as many other rooms werent ready. The state of the room was fair, however it was in desperate need of repair and up dating.
The pool closed at 7pm but the lifeguard stopped us from going into the pool at 6:30. Why?
The room wasn't ready at 3pm. After queuing to check in, we then had to wait to be told when our room would be ready and then queue again to get our key. This all took an hour by which time we would have missed our massage had we not moved the time. We wanted to cancel the massage but was told if we did, we would have to pay 50% of the price, even though it was the hotel's fault we were late. We had to queue for 20 minutes the following day to check out and, as soon as we got our turn at the desk, another couple pushed in front of us to ask a question and was served by the woman at the desk. She should have either refused to serve them or asked us if we minded if she helped the (rude) couple with their query. Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. Never again.
The condition and quality of the room was very poor. The furniture was damaged and old. The selection of food was limited and quality was bad.
I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel is situated in a lovely part of the Dead Sea, right on the beach. However, you cannot enjoy the beach, swimming pool and balcony due to the major construction work from 7am to 7pm.
- Two twin beds instead of a king bed in executive room - Outdated TV "LG" - Arrogant security staff - Construction workers trespassing swimming pool's territory and guest's elevator - Spa overcrowded by outside people who are not guests - Guests smoking in swimming pool - Ragged carpets in hallway - Overall, bad value for money for "upscale" hotel
Rooms brand new.very confortable.food excellent.evryone very polite...service good
the son the dead sea the breakfast was good.!!!
noise from the work outside to expensief the bathroom was not working good
Excellent View of Dead Sea
Had dinner in restaurant and there was Raw chicken being served. Was a bit Ill from the Mud treatment.
Bad breakfast:one day good, next day very bad Service: there is no service Beach: they were making renovation and did not write anything about it Total: hotel does not cost its money and does not suit their 5 stars, max 4-3
Comfortable rooms, excellent view, well-maintained facilities.
A bit too crowded, especially in the dining room during peak hours.
It's very clean, the beach potentially could be enjoyable
Complete lack of interest or language skills of your staff The beach is a noisy building site The buffet area, is a feeding station, where plates, and on one occasion my table was taken away, before I could eat The coffee machine in the morning is a disaster The sun loungers are old and uncomfortable There aren't enough sun umbrellas Nobody tells you there are teriible mosquittos, most hotels would put preventions in the rooms - rather than allow their guests to be bitten
