Friendly staff, nice clean rooms, breakfast at a local Aroma cafe.
They don't accept credit cards.
Nothing like the pictures. It looked like a residential area that had seen better days. We didn't stay having spent some time looking around and even being offered another apartment. Was more expensive than the hotels right on the Dead Sea.
needed to be renovated immediately, when we told the owner next morning that there were no wine glasses, toilet paper, bed cover and that the price for the rooms were much too high, he got very upset and told us we could have waken him up during the night and he would brought the needed items. There were no excuse at all from his side - on the contrary a very rude behaviour.
We needed 6 rooms and wanted to spend one night in the Dead Sea area and the price of every other facility was 3 times higher. Our location was about 1/2 lower that the happening spots but with a little drive we were in the action for shopping eating, swimming etc. Wow what a alternative to those on a budget. Also the rooms are super clean and big.
It was hard to determine exactly where to checkin. It is like a little community so the 'where' is not clear.
Dalya has done a fabulous job decorating and maintaining her property. It was tastefully done and the ONLY property in Israel where we stayed that was represented truthfully. We actually got the room emailed to us in the picture. Dayla has the gift of hospitality and she made us feel extremely welcome. She and her husband are very kind people who want to make sure that you enjoy your stay by the dead sea. I forfeited a stay at Ein Gedi Kibuttz due to a change in itenerary and rebooked to stay at Dayla Zimmer, while I am sure the Kibutz property is lovely; nothing beats staying in a more intimate surrounding with a private beach I am convinced the hospitality could not compare! One Love Jamaica
I liked the friendliness of our host, the lovely house and the gorgeous location.
I didn't not like anything :-)
The personal was nice and welcoming. The room was clean and well equipped. There was a nice inner yard to have breakfast and dinner what made us feel as at home.
However you need a car to travel around and explore this region.
I can't believe Booking.com puts this among their listings. The best thing was its proximity to En Bokek. The actual settlement of Neve Zohar has absolutely nothing to offer a tourist - no restaurant, no beach. It's a room and a bed - that's it. And, please get the screen behind the shower fixed so that no mosquitoes can get in.
Owner is helpful
Away from any shopping or eating place . It was very inconvenient if you did not have car .
Reasonably clean, spacious, sufficiently equipped (except minor items which are provided by staff on request)
No equipped beach! What is the advantage of proximity to the Dead Sea coast if there is no cultural beach? There are neither local food shops nor public transportation - what is the point of having a kitchenette? BOOKING.COM must advise the customers that they need a car and will have to use beach facilities elsewhere but not at "two minutes walk" distance.
clean and nice room
Owner gave us a suite even if we booked studio .no xtra chg. With jacuzzi.
No tv signal?
Spacious room, nice to have a small terrace.
We didn't know before that we were to share the terrace with other guest.
The owner was friendly and helpful. Location - next to the market and not far from the Old town.
Israel is expensive and the room was a bit owerpriced if one compare with the prices in the "developed world".
