The service is just great, genuine helpful staff throughout the hotel. The swimming pools are amazing whether for leisure or serious swimming. Plenty of sunloungers cleverly dotted around the pool areas and surrounding gardens. The breakfast is out of this world just remember to leaver a bit of room for evening dinner! If it is a holiday in Eilat on the sea front with great views and atmosphere the Dan Eilat is the place to go to. Yes we are intending to return! It is apity that there is no Dan Eilat here in the UK!

The breakfast buffet. Nothing was wrong. However, having to pay 10 sheckels to use the internet was a hassle. Guests should get 15-20 minutes free each day to keep in touch with family and work back in the USA.

Location, Breakfast buffet, some staff members are excellent and extremely professional as well as friendly Pool is way too small for the number of people staying at the hotel. Some staff members are really not fit to work in a five star hotel - especially some waiters and buffet personnel that were really unfriendly.

Buffet for breakfast was the best ever! Loved the swirl pool and water slide too! the coffee in the room was not ever replaced by the maid, even though she cleaned up the emply packets we used the first day. The toilet didn't flush without holding down the button for at least a minute.

The great negligance of assistants at front desk and unfair usement of my visa card without asking my permission. I feel they are not understanding people but I think they do not really want, the less they understand, the less they need to work.Especially Marina, she was absolutely underadicated, not understanding English, not caring of me does not wantto understand my problem.

The breakfast bufet was excellent. May different salads and fresh food. This hotel is clasified as a 5 star but should be rated as a 3 star. It has not been udated and much of the decor inside the bedrooms is at least 20 years old. The finess center has old and broken down equipment and is advertised as state of the art which is not true! The beds have old and worn down mattresses that need replacing. The towels for the pool area are cheap and worn. The staff in the dining room was rude and not helpful. I will never stay at this place again. The management show visit a J.W. Marriott and learn how to run a hotel and also how to provide upgrades to living accomodations.

We had access to the executive lounge and that made the stay special. The food and service in the lounge was fabulous along with being quiet and a fantastic view. The buffet breakfast for everyone else is a mob scene. We had a great long weekend. Fragrance they use in the rooms is overpowering.

the location next to the beach is good. I was disappointed with this hotel. Nothing special. The pool area is relatively small and the lounge chairs are old and worn. The hotel in general needs an upgrade. The breakfast was disappointing based on other reviews I read on the hotel. the snack bar is hidden in the basement in the pool area and the sandwich I ordered was so small that I was left hungry the remainder of the afternoon. The main issue is price. For the cost of the hotel room you should get a higher standard of amenities.

Although well mantained, the hotel desperately needs renovation. The staff is service-ready, but there are some very strange things as empty mini bar at the arrival, the way they present the bill is waaaay too weird- they asked for a deposit for extras and didn't book it, so we paid for something (E.Q. laundry)twice,I think there might be some frauds in their book-keeping. Still, as the shoreline in Eilat is very short, and only 3 hotels are near the beach, the Dan is the hotel where you would stay in Eilat.

Excellent hotel. Probably the best in Eilat. The Traklin was fantastic. I really enjoyed my stay. Desk staff were not helpful. Other staff don't know English. The breakfast staff treat people like cattle, not like guests. The tall guy from the hotel gym was rude. Don't expect "please" to be used by the staff.

The hotel is located just by the seaside on the northern promenade. Rooms are very big with good selection of TV channels and nice views over the swimming pools and sea. Breakfast choice was amazing. When arriving at Eilat Airport look for a green colored shuttle-bus which offers free transport to the hotel (sometimes difficult to spot due to numerous taxis which block the road ). The hotel is located less than 10 minutes taxi drive to the Airport. The rooms are not "digital" as you would expect to have in a top rated very expensive 5 star hotel, Some of the facilities inside the rooms are a bit outdated (controlling lights, air condition, radio, telephones, showers )

“Everything was grate! From the first moment at the reception very helpful personal, Alex gave us a beautiful room at 6 floor and Nadia and Rajna helped us with information. It is a very big hotel for family and groups and 5 min to the beach, which is grate in winter. The breakfast was extremely varied and good. It is the perfect place to stay if you want just to relax and go to the beach. Good value for money, the hotels around are more expensive and have the same view. Very clean and if you are Dan Member they upgrade you and make gifts. The bus station if you come from Tel Aviv with Egged is 15 min walking, you have to go around the airport, or take a cab.” Andreea, București |
