Great location, helpful staff
The hotel is from the 1970's and the room we stayed in was not updated. The bathroom had been updated but the room was so dated. It smelled in the halls and room of mold and disinfectant The entire hotel is just dated..
The staff are very friendly and do their job very well. They are very approachable and committed to making your stay good.
The hotel's structure, rooms, and overall facilities would not exceed any more than a 2 star rating. But somehow they advertise as a 5 star hotel, and charge a very high price. The room I stayed in for 10 nights was no different to a 2 star hotel's room just 50 meters down the same road, where my friend stayed. And yet this hotel charges you 2x to 3x times more because they are supposedly a 5 star. Someone really really needs to review their rating and re-rate them accordingly to a 2 to 3 star at MOST, and most importantly please do not be fooled into thinking this is a high class luxury hotel. IT IS NOT. The lobby looks great, but other than that everything else resembles your average motel.
Very old outdated hotel Small rooms small shower, poor bkfst
We were given a room at a different hotel.
The hotel - which termed the room we were given an “upgrade” - gave us a handicap accessible room with a view of the entry ramp instead of the high floor bay view room we paid for!
The location, very central, and above all the view, are fantastic, take a room with bay view. We booked an upper floor room and loved it. Besd and bedlinen very good.
Getting a bit shabby, and breakfast not wonderful.
Young girl say first to me" if you have not blue ticket what gived to you in airport you cannot come to hotel" better say:" extra pay to you, try find ticket"
We have got engaged at the day of the arrival. Due to the occasion the receptionist have upgraded our rooms to a executive room on the 18th floor with an AMAZING city and ocean view!! :)
very good hotel in haifa. marvellous views from the room
Stayed in the hotel for a business trip, I have used it before and it is located in a magnificent position (the clue is in the name) on mount Karmel overlooking Akko Bay. Staff are attentive and polite without being intrusive. I like the 70s feel of the hotel but my colleagues felt it was tired looking and could do with a facelift.
The pool closes too early in the evening for business trippers - so if you have had a busy day & want to relax in the evening then you do not have much time. Some of the bedroom fittings e.g. Radio, vanity unit and plug sockets are old and need updating.
Decor just OK
they charge me for 907$ in NIS the exchange rate was 3.45 but they charge for 3.51 not fair at all!
The hotel is located right in the city centre which is convenient. Staff is very nice and helpful. We had a beautiful view at the sea, spacious, clean room. A nearby drugstore. Very recommended!
The corridor smelt bad.
Check in was quick and easy. Hotel staff provided us with an extended check out time (2pm) because our room was not reserved for another party that day. Check out was also quick and easy, and the individual who checked us out provided us with a discount stamp for parking. In addition, he offered to help us with our bags, which we didn't need. However, it was nice of him to offer.
We were on the 19 floor. Very quiet and great views. No bellman offered (nor requested-I rarely use the service if I travel light). Room service had prompt and courteous service, though it was not cheap and could have had a little more variety. The restaurant seemed to close a little earlier than I expected. Great access to panoramic walk. Didn't use the pool but it was available. Looked nice from floor 19. Overall great.
The facilties and the staff were very helpful.
I didn't like the breakfasts and the lack of fresh fruit.
Almost everything about this hotel reminded me of faded glory and the need for renovation, new energy and better service. All in all, a disappointment.
Comfortable, chic room, great view, modern hotel.
Front desk staff were helpful & friendly. Great view. Room had large walk-in closet. Room was a good size. Bed was good. Lighting was pretty good.
Full of families with children on the weekend. Dining room staff (for breakfast) were not accomodating - the room had many empty tables but they insisted that I sit next to two people engaged in conversation as other tables had been "set" for lunch -- "set" consisting of slightly different cutlery/plates which would have take about 2 seconds to re-set. Not a customer accomodating attitude.
location & the city
the hotel is old decorated & need 2 be redesigned.. high price for old generation hospitality & design - not modern at all
Location is excellent. Personnel is responsive and very attentive to the guests.
Breakfast is poor. Swimming pool operates till 5 pm only.
Nothing to fault
Generally the staff were courteous and helpful.
There was one member of your restaurant staff who was exceedingly rude.
The staff members were smiling and helpful. The facilities were good and the food for breakfast was nicely presented. The location was excellent and we were happy to stay with you. The pool was nicely maintained too. Overall, a good experience!
I was unhappy with the cleanliness of the carpets in the bedrooms - or in other areas. They looked as though they needed a thorough clean. It would have been nice for the pool to be open longer than 5 pm. However, this did not detract from our overall positive experience.
