We loved everything

The location is excellent near the Old City. The hotel staff are friendly and the service is excellent.

The fact that wi-fi was not freely available in the rooms. To charge $20 per day for a service that is regarded as important as water or electricity is just not on. The porter staff were less than helpful, merely watching guests as they walked in with luggage, not even holding the door open

Everything is old! scratchy, loose, rather 3 stars then 4.

This was our third visit to he Dan Panorama and we think that it is the best hotel hat we have stayed in in Israel. We have stayed in Jrusalem and Tel Aviv. For a change this year, we decided to stay at the Davi Intercontinental in Tel Aviv but it was a bad choice because we did not receive breakfast like we have always had at the Dan. Would never change from the Dan ever again! We love the Dan !!!

Outstanding, helpful staff. The accommodations, price, and location fit us to a tee. The morning buffet breakfast was over the top.

The internet service/computer should be complimentary; that is, not billed .

The way we were greeted and taken care of, the ambiance, the marvellous breakfast, the parking facilities, the free wi-fi in the lobby. The staff made us feel like honoured and welcome guests. The slightest question or request was always taken care of in the best of ways.

As there were no staff in the fitness room, it could easily be open for longer time and not just for a few hours.

Good location, about 15 minutes walk from the Old City as well as the present day centre of Jerusalem, has a spa and a pool

The pool closes at 18.00 (just when you need it). Staff at reception always seem to be busy. Hotel needs renovation in the bedrooms and corridors. Food was excellent and plentiful, but very family orientated

Great location in walking distance from the old city (about 10 minutes). Tip: turn right directly after the King David Hotel and walk down and through the park. You will see Jaffa Gate right there and it cuts off some time. Nice little pool on the 8th floor over looking the city (great view of the YMCA). One of the days they were handing out little pieces of watermelon at the pool. (The pool bar was closed...not sure why). Several little restaurants across the street (coffee shop, pizza shop, Mediterranean, etc.). These close on Sabbath and holidays tho. There is a little mini mart about 10 minutes walk up King David Street past the KD Hotel. For kids, great little park on the corner (Liberty Bell Park). My kids love sand and in the front there is a little section with two slides and a merry go round that is all sand. No one seems to use this part and my kids loved it. There is a bigger playground if you keep walking toward the back. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, even on Sabbath. It was very good. We didn't attend the dinner buffet. Dinner suggestion: Jerusalem home style food at Eucalyptus Restaurant. It is in the Artists Square (Mamilla Mall) right outside the Jaffa Gate. It was excellent. Nice, but also kid friendly.

Our expectations of the hotel was high as the hotel appears nice. Unfortunately, some of the staff didn't seem to have a passion for customer service. There were a few people that were friendly and helpful, but most of them were rather grumpy. We had no major issues. Most complaints were small things that were just inconvenient: The ATM in the lobby didn't work with our card (limited network). We had to use the bank near the Kind David Hotel. We stayed Thursday - Monday and the Danyland for kids was always closed when we inquired about it. Perhaps it opens more during the summer, but it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel so the kids were disappointed. In order to order room service, we had to order go downstairs to the lobby bar to place the order. However, they were very prompt with delivery and the food was always good - albeit the lobby bar has a very limited selection.

The Hotel is very nice and the location very good. Good rooms and facilities and excellent breakfast buffet with very helpful staff there. I could say comfortable stay.

Not convincing explanation why Wi-Fi not working in reception area. Room tea & coffee service bad and reception staff (some) not very efficient.

it is very old age hotel. lobby was too tight therefore it was too crowded.

I liked the service always with a smile and very helpfull at all times. I liked the room. I was a single person occupying a double room. Facilities in the room and Lobbie are very good.

I was on the 3rd floor with a very small side window at is overlooking a roof and windows to other buildings. I was there over Passover and Shabbat but there was a lack of some kind of evening entertainment either in the lobbie or other areas of the hotel.

Accommodating, friendly, fantastic breakfast buffet, close to old city, great value, good security, modern. Service was excellent. The bell boy Ariel was most helpful. A very nice young man.

Cafe food could be bit better.

I loved the decor of the hotel. I loved the spacius bedroom and bathroom. I loved the chocolates.water, hand cream and toiletries and beautiful towels left for my convenience and enjoyment. I loved the friendly staff who cleaned my room meticulously. I loved the dining room and the gargantuan feasts laid out on the buffets, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waiters and dining room staff were very good. I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The security person at the door was especially helpful, directing me to the nearest Synagogue, and the ou meeting place with lectures, and all the directions I needed to get around Jerusalem. I was very pleased with the way the hotel recommended taxi drivers who were registered with the hotel. The drivers were always polite and courteous and efficient, and helped me get around Jerusalem and suggested special places to visit. They offered a very good service.

I really liked everything in the Dan Panorama, Jerusalem. I was rather upset only once, when I asked for an orange juice with my dinner and was told by the Manager that it cost extra. I asked several times, and each time he told me it cost extra. I don't like to make this complaint, but it was really not in order. The Manager was short and round. Sorry I have forgotten his name. A waiter brought me an orange juice when I asked him. That is my only complaint, and I am sorry to make it.

The fact that you charge for WiFi in the room, unacceptable for business travelers these days.

1. The breakfast was very good: excellent quality and variety of food and efficient and friendly staff. 2. Good (and free) car parking facilities

The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was fantastic & the dining-room and staff were all immaculate.We were upgraded to a beautiful room with many extras & a lovely bathroom - both spotless!

Our room wasn't level and the furniture was positioned in such a way that my husband kept banging his head. In the dining room we were packed in like sardines, and each time I went to get food I was rudely pushed aside by a waiter on his way to replenish the food.

This was a return trip to this hotel. We LOVE the location and walked almost anywhere we wanted to go. We had two rooms, one that was very spacious and had access to the Executive lounge and a family room that was small for four. The renovated lobby was pleasant and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The highlight had to be returning each day after touring and relaxing in the Carmel Lounge. Abrahim the concierge in the lounge was so kind and helpful with any questions we had. He definitely added a personal touch to our stay in this large hotel. The view overlooking the King David Hotel a treat and the food and drinks were a perfect snack. Breakfast was unbelievable and abundant filled with many, many choices! We will return!

When we returned to our room the first day the bed for our children was not made up and we needed to start calling for bedding at 10:30 at night. After our first night one of our rooms was not cleaned and we had to wait after a full day of touring to relax in our room. We must say the staff then went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of and checked in with us throughout the rest of our stay. Wifi should be included, free access is only in the lobby
