argued about late check out as we are shomer shabbat.
Everything except the temperature
The hotel temperature was cold especially the dinning room. We had to wear sweaters during meal times, although the weather was warm.
WiFi very slow in common areas
food friendly helpful staff great pool
everything was 100%
Excellent attention from staff room upgrade only stayed for 1 night but very happy
This is second time we have stayed at Dan Panorama Tel Aviv. We returned to this hotel because of its ready access to Joppa and to leisurely walk along the beach. (on sidewalks). Tia, the concierge was a life saver assisting us recovering our luggage which did not arrive into Ben Gurion airport with our flight. If I could I would give her a big bonus. If we get to Tel Aviv again the Dan Panorama will be included in our plans.
Level of cleanliness. Room needed a really good clean. Carpets and windows were dirty. Bathroom needs a scrub particularly the toilet. Hallways were shabby and smelly. This is far from the standard I would expect from the Dan group.
Very good hotel. The breakfast was great.
The rooms have to be redecorated and the parking area needs a new coat of paint.
Standard rooms are very nice and comfy. Great sea view. Very pretty from balcony. Pool is a good size but not much sun on the pool. Pool staff very helpful and friendly.
Lack of communication when booking. We were not told until we arrived that we would have to change hotels as they were closed for religious Jewish festivals. We wouldn't of booked if we had known that we would be moved twice during our two week stay. The food was not worth the money, the plates and glasses were always dirty. Our first room was damp so we were moved. Staff were not so helpful; we were promised a discount for the inconvience caused and at the end of our stay we were misquoted twice and were not given the discount we were told we would get. Not very happy at all.
Rooms were great, beds and linen very comfortable, breakfast was also first class.
Some of the guests were loud low life's that shouted as they ran up and down the halls slamming doors at 2:00am
Very good location (10 min from Jaffa and 20 min walking from big shopping center) Very comfortable rooms Nice swimming pool Top breakfast Good service
Unstable Wifi Pool not very clean Rooms were not daily clean in a good way (dirty cup of tea not replaced by clean one, pyjama thrown on the ground). Bathroom old (old taps, full of calcaire...)
Location across from beach, close to historic district. Room was very comfortable. Hotel has major convention and meeting facilities which interested me since I spent 30 years in that business in the USA. All the business facilities seem to be first class. When we mentioned at check -in that it was our 58th Anniversary the manager sent a bottle of wine and chocolates which were appreciated.
Not recommended for leisure. This is not a resort hotel. Pool loungers did not have cushions making them very uncomfortable for lounging. No exit from indoor bar to outside decks. No way to watch sunset while enjoying a cocktail. Overall feeling of the public areas was cold. Without a convention the place is like a morgue.
- Breafast with very large selection.
- Breakfast not hygene (Non-cooled), Scrambled eggs swimming in the water, burnt omelette, warm butter...In short, despite the large selection the quality is low - Some personal extremloy unfriendly - Bar closes at 23.00
very good hotel and very good location
good location, good facilities, great breakfast, nice room sea-views.
impersonal, cleaning staff did not speak english so I could not explain what amenities I was missing
The phone service was not good!! Not 5 stars hotel...
The room wasn't clean
We love being welcomed by RALPH who always continues to treat us royally and look after all our needs. We love the position on the swimming pool. We enjoy the Executive lounge on the 18th floor and the excellent computer facilities there. The breakfast and the Friday night buffet continue to be wonderful.
We are very disappointed to have found the bar has disappeared from the swimming pool area as we always enjoyed an afternoon Cocktail! We wish the Bar in the on the "H" floor I think would remain open longer, 1 a.m would be perfect but even midnight would be preferable to 11 p.m.
Good pool. Good location. Nice rooms. Breakfast on the Sabbath had challahs and wine.
They made us pay an extra night when we were in fact staying only through the end of the Sabbath (6 hours past checkout). This is not common practice in Israel. They did not warn us in advance, even though we inquired multiple times about Sabbath arrangements. They did not have an "extended Sabbath checkout" fee, but made us pay as if we were staying for Saturday night - something we were not expecting, since most Israeli hotels let you stay through the Sabbath at no extra charge, or sometimes, for an extended checkout fee. Again, the staff didn't warn us despite multiple chances to do so.
Everything was incredible here, the staff made us feel very welcome. Favourite aspects were a) breakfast: so much choice and very accomodating; b) pool area: lovely with choice of sun or shaded area. Although as with any other hotel in the area, you may need to be strategic with saving a bed in the morning if you're there during a busy period. There's also a food area by the pool with free water; c) location: the hotel is very close to the gorgeous Neve Tzedek area, the Carmel Market, and Jaffa. It is a taxi journey away to the Port, but very easy to hire bikes to get there too. Absolutely loved our stay there, and can't wait to go back!
Pretty hard to find a fault with this hotel. Wi-fi can be patchy in certain areas on mobiles.
location of hotel/pool area/view from rooms/
house keeping staff were very poor only did basics in the room did not even wipe down dressing table which was full of dust or clean the bathroom properly
All of it
Lack of English speakers
Very helpful staff especially Davida.
Decor not my style. Not 5 Stars but a good hotel.
