Daniel Dead Sea Hotel  

Very convenient for those who take Egged bus from Tel Aviv coz the bus stop is just right in front of the hotel and the hotel is facing to the beach. Also only 15mins by bus to Masada World Heritage.

Internet access is charged on time basis which is not convenient for those who would like to be connected.

Kol hakavod to the dan dead sea team this is my 3 time coming to stay at the hotel always my number 1 & favorite !!!

There is no sign in the bathroom basin that the water in the tap is not fresh No clean signs that of where to get fresh water from!!

the hotel was very nice. it was clean. the staff was friendly. the breakfast included was good. the spa facility ( dead sea water pool, Jacuzzi etc) is free during weekdays.

on the second day of my stay the hotel started renovations in the pool area . these renovations were not announced to us prior to our booking and check-in and they included loud jack hammers, bulldozers and dust during most of the hours the pool was open. they loud noise made it impossible to sit and relax by the pool and we were forced to spend most of our vacation indoors. furthermore the loud pounding noise of the construction was well heard during breakfast as well since the dining room overlooks the pool. in my opinion it was the hotels duty as a 5 star hotel (that should respect it's visitors) to announce such a nuisance at the time of booking or prior to arrival so that I could then choose if I would like to stay there or not .

The spa and pools close way to early. Need to stay open later. The parking is not good.

We stay in hotel one night only and I wish we can stay more and enjoy the Spa.

Well, there is no one to help with luggage...to bring it to the room. And we were the only guests who came at that time. Not good enough English in reception, hard to communicate.

The hotel is not brand new, but management and staff tried to make our staying comfortable. As I saw all the rooms have see view, even part see view is quite amazing.

Internet for $$ is yesterday tradition.

The rooms were clean but the towels and bedding were skimpy.The bed was very, very firm. The evening buffet - granted it was Shabbat - was pretty awful and, since we didn't have a full meal plan it was very expensive but there are few other restaurants in the area. The breakfast buffet was the usual Israeli breakfast.The pool was nice although the lounges showed lots of wear and tear and were not the cleanest. (Typical Israeli) Our adult children like the spa and sauna. Shuttle to the Dead Sea beach right across the street but it is also an easy walk. We visit our family in Israel every year. By Israeli standards, this hotel was above average but we will continue to look around and probably will try someplace else next time.

Room was big and view was good. External swimming pool was nice. Brekfast was rich and good.

Price: from a 5-star hotel I would have expected much more than what it was given. Facilities: the spa is not free and you need to pay for it differently from other hotels in Ein Bokek. The private beach is not private but a public area where everybody can go. Reception: the reception service is really poor, just 1 or 2 people (for hundreds of guests) making you feel you are bothering them all the times you kindly ask for something.

The hotel is not located directly on a beach. One needs to wait for a shuttle
