Everything was great. Staff was absolutely wonderful, delicious breakfast, great view from rooftop terrace, close to the beach, 24/7 tea/coffee/cookies, free wifi, walking distance to shops, markets, bars, restaurants etc. Best hotel I have been to. Highly recommended.
Nothing negative to say.
I love everything, from the amazing breakfast to the friendly hotel crew and clean rooms, everything is so well kept. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to others and be staying here again, for sure!!
Staff - helpful, friendly and informative Location - close to the beach and some good restaurants
breakfast was amazing staff awesome rooms great
Amazing breakfast! Nice and helpful staff and a great rooftop terrace where we hung out basically every night. Good air-conditioning in the room. Great location near the beach and walking-distance to almost anywhere.
The quality between two cleaners was massive. Some days we noticed that they've been in the room but did nothing. Other days (fortunately most days) it was VERY clean and nice.
rooftop deck had great view and set up with chairs, etc. but will no longer be there soon due to construction of apartments
construction near hotel thin walls
Very pleasant stuff, nice view from the rooftop, close to seaside, tea|coffee for free all day arround
Loved Mickey, the manager. He is the best thing this boutique hotel has to offer. His expertise and creative problem solving makes him the ultimate maven of Tel Aviv. There isn't a local resource that he didn't seem to know...restaurant hours, cell phone repairs, local events, politics, you name it. And what a sense of humor! I would write him a job reference any day. And sadly, I think that day may be coming soon! I'm sure that Tel Aviv will be sitting shiva for the De La Mer within months. Bc not only have the American owners left the hotel to rot, there is a high rise being built that will totally block the De La Mer's view of the ocean.
1. The poor physical condition of the building and appearance of the guest rooms. 2. The cruise ship sized shower 3. The lack of bath towels and no wash cloths 4. No hair dryer in the guest rooms 5. The mediocre Israeli breakfast buffet 6. The lack of nearby parking
Great big room with a huge terrace. Lovely breakfast. The receptionist was friendly.
The hotel has only 3 parking spaces and it is not possible to book any of them so we had to find paid parking space. But it was not a big problem.
The location had walking access to everything. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
No mini frig in the room or ice machine for people with medication that needs refrigeration.
The hotel is nice, good room, good location, great breakfast, free beach towel, good service. I especially want to thank their staff for helping me with an incident. I lost my glasses in the sea, and it would be difficult to travel without glasses for me. I told the hotel staff about this incident, they helped me to find the glasses store, provided me detailed map and route and glasses shop recommendations.
The location and staff are the highlights of this boutique hotel - that is within walking distance to many of the main attractions in Tel Aviv/Jaffa - ranging from the Carmel Market and Neve Tzedek neighborhood to the Dizengoff Center and Bugrashov Street. Miki, Emily and Leann will literally bend backwards to make sure your stay will be a memorable one. We rarely consider staying at the same hotel twice. The De La Mer is one of the few exceptions to this rule and we look forward to booking it again on our next trip to Tel Aviv.
The view is so great; however, there is a building about to be constructed which will block their view. Right now they are digging the foundation. It's close to the beach. The taxi driver knew where they were which was fantastic. I had been delayed for 5 hours by the security at Ben Gurion so it was a dream come true that I didn't need to worry about not finding the hotel at 1:30 in the morning. Also the front desk fellow was extremely helpful in giving me directions to the Tel Aviv central bus station
Reasonable breakfast. Free coffee, tea and water all the day. Relatively fast free Wi-Fi internet access in the lobby and 1st floor. Helpful staff. Free beach towels.
Parking is only 3 spaces and is almost always full. You have to park in expensive parking places nearby or in a little bit less expensive garage. Building construction just opposite. Rooms are quite noisy because of excavators, road and air-conditiong machines. No Wi-Fi on the third floor (terrace) and bad signal in 2nd floor.
The view from our room was awesome! The breakfast fantastic and the staff amazing. The room was a nice size and the bathroom big enough to dance in! We even had a balcony to watch the sun go down into the ocean every night.
The elevator was so small we couldn't bring the scooter I need to get around on up to our room. The tub was too dirty to use, which is a shame because it was a jacuzzi tub.
Wonderful small boutique hotel with great location right near the beach, helpful staff, small but very comfortable room, great balcony , and the tastiest home-cooked breakfast.
Great position, affordable price. The breakfast was above expectations.
Offerred with parking, but they have about 3 parking places. I had to pay 20 euros for one night in the nearby parking lot. On the opposit side, towards the see the place is under construction.
This is a modest hotel that charges modest rates. Good value for money. Good location, a block from the beach.
Staff, location, breakfast
Proximity to beach. Clean facility, nice staff, good breakfast.
Lack of parking. Asked for a double bed and ended up in a room with two singles.
Friendly helpful staff and excellent breakfast as well as free tea, coffee and buiscuits 24/7
The air conditioner was slightly too noisy and the bathroom mirror you have to stand at the side to look into it properly as it is at an angle
Staff are exceptional and exceedingly helpful. Great breakfast.
Close to the beach, nice terrace, breakfast quite good, rooms clean
Room no. 100 better be avoided - feels like passing a night in the lobby, hotel has to be renovated and refurbished, overprized
Convenient but nothing specal
