A great host - really bright, positive and friendly. Beautiful views from the apartments - though they are spartan.

Arad as a town is pretty rotten: dull, fly-blown and cheerless.

Hard to locate the place even with a gps. Drink only bottle water.

Villa Dead Sea View is a perfect place to stay near the Dead Sea without spending a fortune on accomodation. Rooms are really well equiped, there's everything you need (even microwave). The view is breathtaking! It's a pity that we've been there only for one night...

Michael, the owner, is very friendly, and gave us a very warm welcome. Made us feel at home immediately and was available for any questions or things we needed. I just knew we would have a great stay there, and we did.

Rather far from Dead sea. 30 kilometers by mountain road. Difficult to find the villa in the town Arad (no signboards even on the house).

This is a collection of rooms rather than a full-size hotel. The manager apparently lives in his home just above the rooms, which makes it convenient should you have any problems. Also, the facilities available are great, including a big terrace, barbecue, etc. It was a pity we didn't have enough time and the weather wasn't at its best, but the terrace is simply spectacular, leading to the mountains and the dead sea. By the way, the manager is really friendly and attentive. He even gave us a map of Arad and recommended us a couple of spots to have dinner and buy some food.

This is not a hotel like any other thing you can find in Europe. It is more like a collection of spare rooms build besides the manager's home. As a result, the furniture is not cohesive, stylish, etc. but it is functional nonetheless. The beds were comfortable and spacious, and we didn't have any problem with the rest of the room. It's just the setting that disappoints a little, but this is a constant across all Israel. You'll probably won't find anything better for the price.

You can't just post your home on Booking.com and call it a "Villa." It's just some guys house.

Staff was very friendly, you have a very nice view over the desert and if you're planning to visit Masada at the sunrise (and go there by car) that's the right place to stay the night before 'cause it's only 17kms away from the western entrance (road from Arad)

When we came back in the evening we found a 10cm long scorpio in the shower (alive). We asked for 3 single beds for 3 adults and we've got two double beds.....not a big deal for us but someone could get annoyed by that.

The view from the room and patio depicted the area perfectly. The nights were pleasant out there after incredibly hot days! It's price was more affordable compared to other places in that region. The studio that we booked was changed on the morning of our visit, but when we were called we agreed to continue the booking with a lower priced room.

The room was under equipped. There was a lack of some motel type facilities, eg lack of towels, coffee or tea, etc.

Nothing, it was a nice stay as expected for the price. We were just passing through for the night and it met our expectations.

Nothing about it is good, I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and this clearly the worst ever. It's not a hotel, only in name. It is far too expensive. The location is poor, far from the city center and really difficult to find.

Leve em consideração que não se trata de hotel, mas de uma guesthouse. O dono mora no local e é muito prestativo. Arad é um ponto de apoio para conhecer Ein Gedi, as praias do Mar Morto e Masada. O ideal é ficar nos hoteis na beira do mar, que são bem mais caros, então é uma questão de custo benefício, ou você paga 100 US$ e fica em Arad, a uns 30 min de carro do mar Morto, ou seleciona um resort entre 200 e 400 US$. Como eu não gosto de sol e pretendia conhecer os parques, e não ficar me queimando em piscinas de sal como fazem os turistas, Arad foi satisfatória. Não achei nem um pouco difícil de encontrar, como outros relataram, é só colocar o endereço no GPS e pronto. A guesthouse está próxima da saída para a estrada 3199, que dá acesso à fortaleza pela rampa dos romanos (caminhada de uns 20min), mais interessante de que o teleférico que existe na entrada leste (pelo mar, via 90).

Le cadre et la vue depuis la terrasse de l'appartement. La disposition de l'appartement, simple et confortable. La possibilité d'aller à Massada très facilement.

מיכאל היה מקסים ונעים לתיקשור . המקום היה פשוט , לא מפואר ויחד עם זאת כל כך נעים לשהות במקום . ישנה חצר ענקית שמשקיפה על הרי יהודה , ים המלח וירדן , תחושה של שלווה שלא ניתן לקנות בכסף .

Sa position en dehors du centre ville ; au calme et avec vue tout de même lointaine sur la mer morte. Excellent accueil du patron
