Stylish comfortable and spacious. Staff so helpful. Sorted out our parking. Told us things to do. Admired us for driving from the airport! Breakfast simple but delicious.
Driving from airport. Get a taxi!
Artsy, nice facilities, large rooms
Front desk staff uneven
Close to everything you need
Super friendly and helpful staff, quiet luxurious room, comfortable bed, close to Rotschild Blvd., Shenkin St. and within walking distance of the Carmel Market and Dizhengoff Center. I liked the live art hotel concept.
Only a minor point, but I thought the breakfast could have been a WEE bit better and varied.
A beautiful hotel where great people are there for your help. Excellent situated in a great city, a great country.
The rooms were huge, the staff friendly and helpful. the hotel is located just off rocthschild- the hip area of town ,
this place is the best-a friend and i booked our room online approximately fifteen minutes before checking in-when we arrived they were making our requested changes to our room and had us sit in their lovely bar area and gave us complimentary drinks until our room was ready. The staff is so friendly and accomodating and the rooms charming and location very central.
Very Friendly and attentive staff. Large room with balcony.
The hotel was charming but, most impressive was the staff. The front desk personnel were wonderful, very helpful, and efficient. Same for the restaurant staff. We couldn't ask for more. A delightful stay.
We have no negative comments.
Over all loved the hotel - good staff, quiet, picturesque, reasonable value.
Complimentary breakfast sort of boring.
Personnel very nice, the best salmon salad ever had in the cafe-bar of the hotel, excellent air condition, excellent WI/FI, everything very good. Reccomended 100%!!
Best value hotel and staff in Tel Aviv excellent relaxed, modern and clean rooms are spacious staff are excellent !
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast next door was excellent.
My husband and I had a great stay at Diaghalev! Among the many wonderful aspects of our stay we were greeted very warmly, parking was next door with reasonable daily rate and in and out privileges, when our daughter came into Tel Aviv one night they allowed her to park free of charge in the lot while we ran to have dinner (parking is really limited in Tel Aviv!), as Hamas was lobbying missiles at the time that reached Tel Aviv, we were given explicit instructions and an information sheet telling us what we should do in the case of a siren warning us to seek shelter, we loved the art in the rooms and throughout the hotel, enjoyed the seating in our living area, I loved the tea assortment in our room, we had a small refrigerator which allowed us to bring cold beverages and leftover food back to our room, the hotel is steps away from Sderot Rothschild which has a lovely wide space for walkers and bicyclists and TONS of restaurants, we were minutes away( walking) from a wonderful free tour that is given every Shabbat morning on Bauhaus Architecture, the hotel has a small lounge with food and drink and outdoor seating, wonderful windows in living area and bedroom, a great shower head, very clean room each day. Best of all was the price for all of this. It is more than difficult to find a quality hotel with a good rate. That it's a boutique hotel only adds to the enjoyment of our stay. Wonderfully warm and helpful employees!
The bed seemed comfortable but both my husband and I were sore each morning. Be sure to ask for a room on the back of the hotel rather than on the street for quiet.
The overall ambience of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are sleek and fun. Our room, with a terrace over a courtyard, had an intimate "local" feel. Yet within three minutes you're out walking on Rothschild, at cafes and restaurants. We hugged everyone when we left - not only had they become friends, we'd huddled with them in their Fort Knox-like bomb shelters. Highly recommended hotel - arty but not pretentious and great value for the money. May they, and everyone in the region, see more peaceful times in the future.
staff was great, warm, embracing room was big, light, airy, beautifully artfully designed bathroom was big and great lobby was eclectic and creative hallways were electic and creative location was fabulous
The style and vibe of the place. The warm and personal yet professional service. The size of the room and hotel location.
You will not find the level of AUTHENTIC caring you will find at the Diaghilev anywhere else in Israel. The Diaghilev is a rare find. You will be treated like family and your concerns and needs will be taken on board by the staff as though it is their mission to have you fall in love with their hotel and their country--and fall in love with their hotel and their country I did. I fell hard. You can find hotels with more glitz, but you would be hard-pressed to find service at this level of excellence--even at a hotel at twice the price. Don't make the mistake of staying at the overly touristic hotels on the beach, the Diaghilev is the real deal and situated in a serene, idyllic residential neighborhood only steps away from the more lively Rothschild Boulevard, where you stroll down a treed center island, dotted with cafes and food kiosks galore, offering mouth-watering meals, with musicians playing. The district in which the Diaghilev is located is sort of Israel's answer to New York's Greenwich Village and a little bit Paris, where there are friendly bars of every stripe and color where you can mingle with the locals instead of other tourists for a true Tel Aviv experience till the wee hours of the morning. I went to Israel alone as I could not find anyone to go with. I arrived at the Diaghilev Hotel unsure if I made the right choice, so many people said stay at the beachfront hotels. I was also traveling alone for the first time in my life and I worried I would feel alone in Israel. Miriam, one of the many warm and gracious front desk staff members, upon hearing I was traveling alone, called her husband and said, "Eddie you're having dinner with one of our hotel guests who is traveling alone." Her husband took me to the ancient port of Jaffa, where we ate at the Old Man and the Sea restaurant by the water for one of the best meals I ever had.
More toilet paper please!
Cleaning a bit sloppy
Everyone was SO pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It is noteworthy that staff operate as a 'team' ,everyone working together. Rooms like apartments. Excellent to have on site parking. Good outdoor areas and balconies. Hotel is modern and spacious.
Would have liked more English newspapers ,not just the left-wing Haeretz. Would also like a little more choice on the menu. But would not stop me going back.
Great room - kichenette, living room, bedroom and a lovely tree shaded balcony all in a very trendy section of Tel Aviv. Great price -$159.00 per night! Great staff
Absolutely no complaints
I've been staying at this hotel for the last 4 years as I travel to Tel Aviv regularly for business. This is my "home" away from home (in SF). The staff is super helpful, I love how authentic it is, with style, comfort, and anything you need only steps away. The rooms are very basic but very stylish and have an apartment like feel with balconies, kitchens and great art. Location is excellent with Tel Aviv's fine dining, arts, beaches and culture. Highly recommended!!
The ambiance, room size and decor and various little perks, the friendliness and professionalism of staff, the location, very good quality of wi-fi.
Paid parking, light (although very tasty) breakfast.
