Very nice hotel
Very friendly staff Great location, historical building Interesting artwork in hotel and in rooms Very tasty breakfast
Breakfast was a bit expensive
Spacious, two-room suite; simple, contemporary decor; bath with great shower and tub, huge towels & terry-cloth robes; original art everywhere; attentive, honest staff, (notified us that we left documents with a check in the room!).
location, staff, room
Modern, spacious rooms with excellent service. We got upgraded to suite for free! Close to dining and shopping, and it has secure underground parking. And--I've never seen this before--a complimentary glass of beer while you wait for your room to be prepared.
For the price of 269$ per night we've got two bedroom suit. Big space make this hotel really attractive for families with children.
Very courteous and helpful staff.
Staff was very helpful, room was clean, bright, open, super nice.
The staff were warm and charming, giving me a free large glass of red wine on arrival. I was upgraded and the room was large and everything working as it should. Overall a very nice hotel.
The decor is OK (and the pictures are a nice touch) but the large bare white walls, especially in the bedroom, which appear to be simply painted concrete could be made warmer and more attractive with a little effort.
Everything is extremely well-designed and well-maintained. Very comfy beds, effective blackout curtains, touches of luxury in the bathroom, plenty of space to move around without disturbing sleeping friends, and of course pretty art on the walls. They're basically self-catering apartments - no cooking facilities but there's a fridge, kettle, generous kitchen work space and very elegant serving dishes. Because of this, and the fact that there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and groceries close by, breakfast is not an issue. Most importantly, getting a suite this nice and this central for this price is a hugely pleasant surprise!
Only one significant complaint - the (paid) parking is awful if your car is largeish or low-slung. I would find another parking option or skip the car, since it's so central. And just nitpicking - they keep trying to promote this Very Special Arty image, giving little introductory speeches and making you feel like you're getting a special privilege, and it's uncomfortable if you're just ordinary paying guests trying to get to your room for some peace and quiet. It would be better to have an information file in the room, explaining how to reach reception on the phone and when the cafe was open, for example, but all we got was an unuseable promotional guide to Tel Aviv and last month's Time Out.
Size of suite. Location.
Bed not terribly comfortable.
Spacious living room, looks like on the photos. Really tasty muesly for breakfast, although no hot dishes are available. Underground parking for US$ 15 per day.
Rooms are outdated. In particular, the bathroom looks like the owner's grandma used it in her youth (probably that's why there are no pictures of the bathroom on the website). Although staff are very friendly and helpful, I would not stay another time.
Great location, big room, big bathroom, amenities, nice bed and ilumination. I really need to detach the wonderfull staff! They answered all my questions. After I left the hotel to the airport, where I lost my hand bag, they found the bag and helped me to find a way to receive this hand bag in Brazil.
There was a cockroach in the room but the staff resolved at the time I requested a solution.
Great location Very helpful hotel staff Very clean and spacious room I will absolutely book this hotel again the next time I travel to Tel Aviv
Better than any of the 5star on the beach in Tel Aviv (we tried many of them including the new ones). Personnel unusually friendly and smiling which is unheard of in any other Tel Aviv hotel up to my experience.
Breakfast could be more versatile, true, but with the 3 sets they offer you can add some cheese or bread depending on the set you've chosen and you are perfectly fine for additional 5-12 sekels. To me it was a minor drawback. The room a bit cold in the middle of winter.
Needs updating, esp bathrooms
The room was more like an apartment, very big. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. There was a kettle, tea, coffee, fridge and orange juice in the room.
Even though it's an "art" hotel, the room styling was quite odd. The bath tub was quite small.
The main location on a quiet street, the friendly and helpful staff that gave us a warm welcome and the spacious room.
The bathroom was not renovated lately, but anyway-it was clean and funcional.
The location is ideal for exploring the city. The staff could not be nicer and more helpful, from the moment we checked in until check out. While the rooms with balconies, comfortable beds, thick towels, bathrobes, fresh oranges at the desk were all ideal, the staff are what makes this hotel experience truly perfect and sets it apart from other hotels.
The vibe of the Diaghaelev was relaxed and geared to accomodate their guests needs. The location allowed for easy walking to the Beach, the Carmel Shuk, HaBimah and the many wonderful places to eat along Rothschild and Ahad Haam. I will be back!
Great hotel and very helpful staff.
Big and clean rooms Wonderful staff Great location- just few minutes walk from central attractions
Not so fancy- more like a nice decorated apartment Continental breakfast tend to be quite small The price is a little bit high for what you get
-Complimentary wine and fruit on arrival -Complimenary upgrade to a larger room because it was available (we didn't ask) -Cheerful and friendly staff -Smaller hotel, more personal attention -Complimentary water, juice, and snack bars in room -Comfortable room -Large balcony with tables and chairs
-Breakfast was plentiful in quantity, judging from what was on view on other people's tables, but had only cold items; we went to a nearby restaurant for an Israeli breakfast
